calidad, en Taxco, la gobernadora Evelyn Salgado Pineda, visitó el Hospital General "Adolfo Prieto" de Taxco, para evaluar los resultados de la primera jornada gratuita de Cirugía de Cataratas y Colocación de Lente Intraocular, que benefició a 112 personas de escasos recursos de la región Norte con 140 cirugías de manera gratuita, que significó un ahorro de 20 mil pesos por cada intervención quirúrgica. "La salud de los guerrerenses es nuestra prioridad, es por eso que no puede haber crecimiento sin salud, mucho menos desarrollo y bienestar, por eso como autoridades tenemos la gran responsabilidad de hacer efectivo el derecho humano a la salud universal y de calidad, que quede claro que esto no es un privilegio, no es una dádiva, ni un regalo, es

un derecho universal que tenemos todas y todos los guerrerenses", expresó Evelyn Salgado. Ante personal médico del Hospital General de Taxco, así como representantes de la Beneficencia Pública Nacional, la mandataria estatal, destacó que Guerrero avanza en materia de salud, entregando centros de salud que llevaban años sin operar y en total abandono como los hospitales de Petatlán y Tecpan, invirtiendo en el mejoramiento del Hospital General de Chilapa y en Acapulco, así como decenas de centros de salud y clínicas en todas las regiones del estado. En este contexto, la gobernadora Evelyn Salgado, agradeció el respaldo permanente del

Gobierno de México con Guerrero, a través de instituciones de Salud y de la Beneficencia Pública para acercar estos beneficios a la población más vulnerables, cumpliendo con el acceso universal a los servicios de salud en la entidad. Al anunciar los resultados de la primera jornada de cirugía de Cataratas y Colocación de Lente Intraocular, a través del convenio signado entre la Secretaría de Salud de Guerrero, el DIF Estatal y la Beneficencia Pública Nacional, destacó que se realizaron 140 cirugías de cataratas, lo que significó un ahorro aproximado de 20 mil pesos por cada uno de los beneficiados. Por su parte, el Coordinador Nacional de Apoyos de Movilidad de la Beneficencia Pública Nacional, José Antonio Abad Mena, destacó que nunca se había logrado el número de operaciones gratuitas logradas en el Hospital General de Taxco para beneficiarios de los municipios de la región Norte entre éstos, Pilcaya, Tetipac, Teloloapan, Iguala, Tepecoacuilco, Huitzuco, Atenango del Río, además, dijo que esta dependencia también brinda servicios de auxiliares auditivos, prótesis dentales, cirugías de caderas, de cataratas y de rodillas.
