FEAR OF GRATERS

Chanukah has come around again. It’s time to make potato latkes, the traditional Chanukah dish, though in Israel, it’s jelly donuts. To properly make latkes, you have to grate potatoes. I live in fear of graters. No matter how careful I am, I wind up with grated knuckles and blood in the latkes. This makes them not only gory, but non-Kosher.
