​I hope you don't mind me answering this one publicly instead of with the main reply feature, but! I can send help lol So, I did briefly explain this before (and it'll get brought up in the comic as well, I'm sure), but you're very correct that Lyra's feathers are a manifestation of her Life attunement. However, Audun's physical manifestation is actually, also--

Feathers. They're a little hard to see normally since they're so fine/small, but most of the silver/grey in his hair you see is manifest feathers. Veil attunements present mainly through their aura manifestation, but the secondary, often far more subdued physical manifestations they gain once unlocking their aura doesn't have to be directly tied to it. (So, say, Audun's aura does not double-present on him like Audric's fire does, and Audun's physical manifestation presents as feathers. though maybe they're related if you look at it with the lens of water fowl?) Which leads to your question... Both of Audric's parents are eidolic magi with the same presenting manifestation. It isn't common by any means, but in this event, it *can* be possible for a manifest trait that's particularly strong and presenting in both parents to get passed to a child as a residual echo. It's also believed that this is how the different maven lineages were established long ago. The coloration and presentation of Audric's match his father, but the size/texture more closely matches Lyra's.

So Audric has had these his whole life. As I said, though, it isn't common or even a guarantee-- the light portions of Elias' hair are, in fact, actually just hair. I think in the past I called them morality tufts, of which Elias is lacking. This explains everything wrong with him. (I'm kidding. probably.)

I was wondering how the other Magi (apart from Aladdin) knew of each other even down to each other's names when it seems that they mostly keep low profiles and such, Yunan literally separates himself from the rest of the world so how did Judar and Titus know he existed at all

And then me and my friend were like wouldn't it be REALLY fucking funny if they had a "Magi's Meeting" every year or so and all three of them met up on relatively good terms to a) discuss king's candidates and b) talk shit and gossip and stuff

It could be like this would be a REQUIRED thing with Magi and they forcefully come together in a dream sequence or whatever or they just pretend to go on vacation to some remote area but it's something all Magi have to do even back in yee old days but it's just devolved into a tea party and catching up

Aladdin's just excluded because he wasn't really 'born' for a hot minute and also just doesn't know about it until someone cracks some inside joke and he's like "...wait when did you guys all get together?" and they're exposed
