Ok, I think I actually love Guel Jeturk? As a character, obv, not for my OTP.
Like, Suletta told him “You fight good” and he fell over himself because that appears to be the first genuine and kind compliment he’s gotten in... forever. Sure he’s got his groupies, but they just like to kiss up to his butt. And any compliment from his dad is two-faced at best, if he ever gets compliments to begin with. The only other person who seems to be willing to give him any positive reinforcement is his brother and I have a feeling even that is tainted by their dad’s influence.
I saw that look in his eyes. That is the look of someone who expects the worst when he gets home, only to get the confidence booster of a lifetime: a double thumbs up from the person who beat him. Actually, I bet if anyone beat him in the past, they didn’t bother to tell him “good game”, even facetiously.
That boy is a wet cat who needs a hug and a bowl of soup.

Not quite returned to Warframe but I've been logging in daily again. I've put off grinding for the heavy scythe for a while but this time I swear I'm gonna do it.
Also to relearn some frames because weapon platform Inaros keeps getting all the action in the Zariman recently.

You certainly have a lot of “angry” characters but you don’t really strike me as something like Nemesis or Ares. Of the two, I’d guess Ares first though. I think you could be a Hypnos kid. Get that nice ‘shoved in Hermes cabin’ angst. Making people fall asleep? Highly effective fight-or-flight technique. You’ve already got all those stars. On the other hand I think Rick Riorden needs to write a thousand more complicated Aphrodite cabin members they never disappoint and neither do you. Every friend group needs someone with charmspeak
I also do get your unserious nature and the need to go fast. I think you’re be a good guardian of travelers

Vivian's close range combat skills pale in comparison to her throwing skills, her old bullet wound makes her clumsier and she's never seen the point of fighting up close and personal when she can use a knife. She's an expert survivalist so knows when to cut her losses and will immediately try and put some distance between herself and a target.

Apollo and Diana by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo
"Muse, sing of Artemis, sister of the far-shooter, Parthenos the virgin who delights in arrows, who was fostered with Apollon.
She waters her horses from Meles deep in reeds, and swifty drives her all-golden chariot through Smyrna to vine-clad Klaros where Apollon god of the silver bow, sits waiting for far-shooting delighter in arrows.
And so hail to you, Artemis, in my song and to all goddesses as well."

For Sale- Rosary of Artemis Limnaea
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bog Oak, Olive Wood, Cow Bone
"Muse, sing of Artemis, sister of the Far-Shooter, the Virgin who delights in arrows, who was fostered with Apollo. She who waters her horses from Meles deep in reeds..."
A rosary dedicated to Artemis, goddess of the hunt. Crafted with beads of olive wood, with counter beads of cow bone and bog oak, this rosary calls upon the goddess in her most life giving and taking aspects. The rosary center features a symbol of a horn and a stag, once attributes of St. Hubert they become the Golden Stag and Horn of her nymphe hunting party. The drop piece is a beautiful vintage St Mary medal, here a robed Virgin surrounded by cattails and stars, which felt appropriate for a rosary dedicated to Artemis of the Lakes and Marshes.
This rosary I believe would be a powerful tool in anyone hoping to form a close connection to the goddess Artemis, and her associated court of spirits.

Task force 141 + könig reaction to their s/o accidentally calling them captain/sergeant/lieutenant sexy on comms? I love the way you write em all 😩🙏 you're amazing 🙏🙏😩
HEY SEXY --- Task 141 + König
SUMMARY: The boys reaction to you calling them sexy over comms.
⸝⸝⸝⸝⸝
Captain Price
-> Over the comms price is running you back over the plan. Making sure you have it securely in your head. But his voice is so deep and arousing that you can't help your response. "Sure thing, Captain Sexy."
-> Everyone falls silent, flustered or shocked. You didn't expect it to come as seductive as it did but Price was squirming now. his deep voice replies back. "Good." The comms fall silent again. Grinning wildly, you can't help but feel a sense of pride swell, until he speaks again. "You'll have to explain that to me sometime soon."
Ghost
-> You joined 141 not too long ago, and very quickly you were thrown into your first mission. You're heading into this operation with Ghost to clear the building, grab the information, and go. You split away just a minute too soon.
"Don't fire your gun unless I tell you to. Only use melee." He orders gruffly. That's another thing, you've come to find that his voice is for some reason highly attractive.
"Anything for you Lieutenant sexy."
The comms fall silent before Soap's voice crackles through. "Oh-" he muses. It falls quiet again and you continue through to the next room.
"Keep that same energy next time we're alone, Yeah?"
Soap
-> everyone else on 141 knew you liked him except for the man himself, until just a moment ago that is.
"I need backup." Soap's voice fills your ear. You waste no time in turning around to make your way to him. But his voice rings in your head, the gruffness and the heavy breathing was for some reason attractive. Without much thought you gave a stupid reply.
"On my way Sargent sexy."
All lines fall quiet. You didn't really think much of it. It just didn't register what you said until it was far too late to take back. Soap's low chuckle brought you to realize this.
"Thanks for the compliment, Rookie."
König
-> This one didn't happen on comms but instead happened on base.
Two men Stan's before you each of them sharing an equally pissed face. All you did was call them out for groping you. Even as rookies they should have known better none the less you didn't want to hurt anyone on base in fear of being reprimanded so you tried to politely dissolve the situation.
"Back off now or suffer the consequences. Youw I'll lose a nutsack today." You warn.
They looked at one another quizzically while you creepily divulged step by step what you would do to complete your empty threat. Just as you were reaching the explanations climax, they two started murmuring to one another and scampering off in a hurry.
"They were bothering you?" König's soft voice comes from behind.
You whirled around in surprise. "Hey big sexy didn't see you there." It was one of those moments where you watched the words come out and actively acknowledged that this may very well be your last moment alive. However König hid away from your greeting and instead looked at the floor.
"Sorry, big man. Aha. Thanks. Catch you later!" Before he could stop you, you were already gone.

[From "Send me ⚓️ for our muses to be shipwrecked together"
...Not sure who should approach who, and this got really long, so leaving it at this...
—@not-that-dillinger]
Ultimately, how Ed ended up on the Grid was trivial. An anomaly he noticed, and couldn't stop thinking about, and, on a whim, went to go investigate.
It didn't take him long to find Flynn's creepy basement lab. It took him less time to find the digital world (he was without a doubt inside the computer, because that was most certainly the digitization laser he shot himself with).
It took them even less time to find him.
All he knew was that one moment he was standing in a dusty arcade, the next... he was still standing in the arcade, except as if it existed in a different dimension. In a different world.
And then two... programs? in glowing orange suits approached him, arrested him (for what, he wasn't certain), and put him on one of those ships from Flynn's game that he was never allowed to play as a kid. Space Paranoids, if he remembered correctly.
In any case, they put him on the ship, with several other programs. He'd already had a stressful day (thanks, Mackey), and was barely keeping it together when one of the other programs mentioned that they were all going to 'derezz.' Ed wasn't certain what that word meant, but from the context, he was convinced the guards were taking them to their deaths.
He was claustrophobic from the number of people programs on the ship, and he may have shot himself with a high-powered laser, but he certainly didn't want to die.
He couldn't breathe, he could barely form a thought from how his mind was reeling.
And then suddenly Ed could feel the lines code that made up the ship, and their restraints that held his feet in place. He had no idea what he did, but the next moment, their restraints were gone.
The woman next to him instantly attacked the guards with a staff he had no idea where she got it from. The ship descended into chaos as the other programs joined in the melee, and then in altitude when one of the programs destroyed the ship's pilot with the disc on their back.
Ed didn't have a disc, or a staff, and he certainly didn't know anything about piloting... anything, really, but nobody had yet realized that their ship was about to crash. So he carefully skirted the edge of their cabin to the controls.
A joystick. Really Flynn? Murder on his wrist. Joy of joys.
Ed... tried to keep them flying, but he had never been good at video games, and he really didn't have time to do much but pull up and lessen the impact when they crashed into the mountainside.
The next thing he knew, he was face down in the snowy, barren wasteland outside the city. When he rolled over to see his surroundings, the recognizer was a fair distance away (he see it clearly: blessedly, his glasses weren't broken in the crash). He must have been thrown out one of the broken windows in the crash. His ears rang, and Ed was certain he was both bleeding and concussed.
There was someone else lying in the snow, thankfully a distance away, but Ed had no idea what happened to the rest of the programs on the ship.
He knew he should get moving, in case any of the guards survived, but Ed needed a moment to recover before he attempted anything else.
((Ooooh, awesome, thank you so very much!))
Living on the Grid was hazardous nowadays, especially for a Renegade. Ark specialized in causing trouble for the Occupation, but knew that it was going to catch up with her one of these cycles.
She had been pulling another one of her self-assigned missions, when the sky had lit up in a way she hadn't seen in countless cycles.
A User was rezzing into the Grid.
Unfortunately, the beam of light distracted her long enough for the Occupation to catch up to her.
Badly outnumbered, Ark decided to save her strength for better odds.
She was loaded into a Recognizer, along with quite a few other programs.
A short time later, someone was loaded in next to her, someone with strange clothes she had never seen before. Was he the User? Or just a program with a quirky style? Was odd fashion a good enough reason for him to be arrested?
As she analyzed him, all of a sudden, him, her, and everyone else was free.
She took advantage of the surprise and chaos, and immediately leapt into action. Fortunately, they hadn't searched her too well in the confusion over the beacon, so her staff had remained with her.
Bolstered by the knowledge that there was likely a User among them, she fought hard, joined in by all the other prisoners on the ship.
The battle didn't last long before everything exploded.
Ark was flung out of the Recognizer and away from it, falling into the snow.
She wasn't out long, the cold stinging and bringing her back conscious, her circuits coming back online.
Using her staff to help, she pulled herself up and started looking around for any survivors.
She saw someone in the snow and started making her way towards them, using her staff as a walking stick while she still got her bearings.

Monster Spotlight: Leanan Sidhe
Tumblr media
CR 9/MR 3
Chaotic Neutral Medium Fey
Bestiary 4, pg. 180
These powerful, influential fairies are patrons of artists of every type, acting as more malevolent Muses who can bless and inspire multiple creatures at a time with their Mythic power. Anyone visited by a Leanan Sidhe (which I've learned is pronounced 'lee-ah-nan shee') rarely realizes what their mysterious guest is, as the Fey can freely disguise themselves as any female Humanoid they wish and typically have an entourage of hired guards and devoted sycophants to lend them the air of a rich eccentric come to pay a visit. Not rebuffing their presence, though, can lead to what at first is an incredible deal... a deal that even a devil would be impressed by.
Before we get into that, let's get something out of the way: it's difficult to speak of the combat potential of a Sidhe, because they're one of the rare monsters to be completely unfit for combat in nearly every capacity. They rely on their at-will Calm Emotions followed by a 3/day Quickened Charm Person to put combats to rest and convert parties into patsies, their sole offensive spell being Crushing Despair at-will. They're even awful in melee, having a single comically pathetic dagger attack for 1d4 damage, their more dangerous attack being a touch which unavoidably shaves 1d4 Charisma from the victim. The Charisma damage will usually put down whatever's gotten in her face, but a Sidhe will likely not stick around to coup de grace a comatose victim unless they're alone.
Their protective measures are potent, having high saving throws, high AC (25), and DR 10/Cold iron and Epic at a level where that's basically invincibility, but despite these formidable defenses, a Sidhe caught in battle will always use her Mythic Improved Initiative to go first, followed by her at-will Dimension Door to swiftly vacate the premises until she can shapeshift into a nondescript woman and leave the conflict altogether.
No, if you've gotten a Sidhe into combat and have measures to bypass her DR and keep her from teleporting away, you've already won. The problem is getting there, because a Sidhe's presence is difficult to detect and even harder to justify stepping in about; whoever she's ensnared will likely defend her to their dying breath, and depending on who her patsy (or patsies) is, they may be the real boss fight. See, a single Sidhe can have up to six victims at once: three with her Skill Blessing, and three with her Spell Blessing, so that's six people fanatically devoted to her continued existence, three of which can be powerful spellcasters and three of which can be famous artists and performers.
Skill Blessing works as such: the Sidhe can freely create a cursed tool, toolkit, prop, costume, or any other such token, which can be used as a masterwork tool for a specific form of Craft or Perform check of the Sidhe's choice. In addition to the normal bonus given for being masterwork, it grants a +4 bonus to whatever check it was created to assist with. The intended recipient of this tool receives no saving throw against its allure, becoming fixated on it and using it whenever they can in whatever project they're working on, and anyone hoping to help wean the victim off the Fey's power finds that the tool always returns to its owner whenever they need it, even if it's lost, stolen, or destroyed.
Spell Blessing is the far more dramatic and terrifying power because of the might it gives to the blessed caster. By being in physical contact with the caster for one full round, the Sidhe can bestow upon them a powerful boon: The ability to recall up to six levels worth of spells each day, refreshing their own magical energy as though they used a Pearl of Power. This allows them to regenerate one 6th level slot, two 3rd level slots, six 1st level slots, or any other such combination to give them more reach than they already had. Both of their blessings make them extremely attractive to casters and artists alike, often to the point where they'll ignore the downsides of this particular arrangement.
See, Sidhe are living creatures, and all that lives must eat. Sidhe just so happen to eat life energy, but not just ANY life energy; they prefer the life of creatives and people with powerful imaginations. Whenever a creature utilizes the blessing granted to them by a Sidhe, the Fey is instantly aware of it no matter where they are, and may Drain Life from them across any range by expending one of their three Mythic Surges for the day (allowing it to feed from the same person 3 times, or three different people once each, etc). Each use of Drain Life deals 1 point of Con drain to the victim and nourishes the artistic Fey, slowly but assuredly killing the victim over time if they have no access to powerful healing magic. Stories abound of artists who come into vast fortunes and blossom with talent, only to swiftly sicken and die, and many of these stories can be attributed to Leanan Sidhe lingering nearby.
Make no mistake, the Sidhe are not fully malevolent, but many of them them possess very twisted morals as befitting of a Fey. Some rare Sidhe may only drain someone's life when they absolutely must, or they may even seek a nobody victim to dump a magical tool upon so they can feed at leisure while they bless a specific creature with unparalleled talent with no strings attached at all! Many, however... well, look at how often a genius artist is celebrated while they're still alive. The Sidhe may believe they're doing their victims a favor by inspiring them to create wondrous things for several weeks before abruptly wasting away so their works are actually treasured.
With a +25 to Diplomacy checks and the ability to, up to 3/day, make a flat 45 Diplomacy check without needing to roll, the Sidhe will be able to convince their chosen victim of their logic, whatever it may be and whatever it may cost them. That's their true danger of a Sidhe's presence--not the Fey itself, but the tragedies they create, and the torrent of emotions that stirs in their entourage if the source of their talent is threatened. A party that even becomes aware of the Sidhe's machinations will have to compete with her other patsies, as well as whatever sycophants and hopefuls she's gathered, all of whom are hoping to be the next one she blesses regardless of the danger it presents to them. They'll also have to try convincing her victims that her blessing isn't worth it so the loss of its power doesn't utterly destroy their willingness to go on, a task that may just be harder than the combat!
You can read more about them here.
