#OneNETnewsEXCLUSIVE: MLhuillier will soon to open in a Newest Branch of Brgy. Pulantubig
DUMAGUETE, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- After several months of local business bankruptcy in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental when a locally dressed chicken trader goes out of business for now... A pawnshop company of MLhuillier will soon to be built a newest branch here in Barangay Pulantubig known as MLhuillier.
Tumblr media
Michel Jones Lhuillier (shortened as MLhuillier) opened his first pawn and jewelry shop in the 1980s in Cebu City, Cebu. It has the largest non-bank financial services network in the Philippines, with over 3,000 branches nationwide as according thru SunStar Cebu.
Tumblr media
Here in our City of Gentle People, some branches of MLhuillier have already built with the likes beside the St. Paul University, the intersection of San Juan Street in front of Power91 DYGB-FM and the rest remains history as of this writing.
Tumblr media
We spoke to a few of its construction workers next to Bread Express Bakeshop in our news team of OneNETnews, he tells us that the actual construction is currently ongoing until the said branch inaugurates to open by next year, after it was transitioned with Harvey's Dressed Chicken Trading due to understaffed and bankrupt in cost cutting.
OneNETnews reaches out via E-Mail to MLhuillier, the staff and representatives have not heard back.
But the pawnshop and services company says, most branches have expanded nationwide and worldwide when it comes to Money Remittances, Buying Telco Loads, Sending Physical Money, Foreign Exchange for Travelling Abroad in Money Changer and other services to cover. His corporate mission with a slogan, "Tulay ng PaMLyang Pilipino". MLhuillier introduces a mobile application called ML Wallet where you can transact digitally and cashless payments even when you skip your waiting lines ahead.
MLhuillier will soon to open next year in 2023 here between the intersection of Lower Camanjac and the Upper Rovira Road in the said barangay. You can enjoy all these services to offer with a pawnshop you can trust.

Over 37K workers in Bicol receive DOLE CAMP2 cash aid
#PHinfo: Over 37K workers in Bicol receive DOLE CAMP2 cash aid
An employee of Denvers Computer Shoppe in Legazpi City, currently on flexible working arrangement due to Covid-19, received the P5,000  CAMP cash assistance. (Photo from DOLE5)
LEGAZPI CITY, Jan 18 (PIA) – Some 37, 988 workers affected by the Covid-19 in the Bicol received the P5,000 cash assistance under the Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
“As of January 15, meron po tayong 37, 988 na mga empleyadong nakatanggap na ng P5,000 one - time financial assistance para sa mga empleyado sa formal sector. Yan po ay may amount na Php 189, 936, 360 (As of January 15, we have 37, 988 employers who received the P5,000 one - time financial assistance for employers in the formal sector. That's Php 189, 936, 360)," DOLE Bicol information officer Johanna Vi Gasga said.
Gasga said DOLE Bicol targets to release 100% of the alloted fund for the program this January.
“For CAMP, ang allotment nito para sa Bicol region ay P217, 681, 789 covering 43, 537 na mga workers in the formal sector (For CAMP, the allotment for the Bicol region is P217, 681, 789 covering 43, 537 workers)," Gasga said.
At least Php 27, 745, 430 is set to be released to 5, 549 beneficiaries.
“Ongoing ang processing ng mga vouchers. Kailangan lang nila hintaying yung reference code from M. Lhuiller o sa payroll account nila para matanggap na nila (The processing of vouchers is ongoing. They just need to wait for the reference code from M. Lhuiller or their payroll account),” she added.
Gasga cited conflict and errors on contact details as one of the reasons for delay in the release of remaining fund.
“Yung iba di pa nakakarecieve ng reference code. Yung iba naman di macontact ang cellphone number na ibinigay nila. Yung iba nandun sa listahan
Judy Ann B. Topia, a 24 - year old employee of Sunwest Corporation from Tabaco City, cited as blessing the assistance she received.
ng beneficiairies pero wala sila sa payroll (Others have not received the reference code while we can't contact some of the cellphone numbers. Others are in the list of beneficiaries but are not in the payroll list.), ” Gasga said.
“For those who did not yet receive the assistance, they can coordinate with our office. They can track online the status of their application. They will also receive notifications,” she added.
Some applicants, however, exceeded the allotted fund and number of beneficiaries. Moreover, Gasga assures continuation of other DOLE programs and interventions for displaced workers.
“Marami yung nagstop na for evaluation. Ibig sabihin hinda na kayo naabot ng pondo. Kung mabibigyan uli tayo ng pondo, agad naming ibibigay sa mga nawalan ng trabaho (Many stopped for evaluation. It means that you are not anymore covered by the fund. If we will be given another funding, it will be immediately released to the displaced workers),” she said.
The use of online system for the CAMP2, Gasga said, paved way to faster release of the cash aid.
“Bumaba ang pondo ng November, by December more than half na kami. More than 90% na kami by the end of December (The fund was downloaded on November. We released more than half by December. By the end of December, we're more than 90%),” she said.
Furthermore, Gasga urged the public, particularly the workers and employers, to be early in filing their applications and be constantly updated on government programs and services at the Facebook pages of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA Albay) and DOLE Bicol. (SAA-PIA5/Albay)

DOLE Ilocos releases 5k cash assistance to CAMP beneficiaries
#PHinfo: DOLE Ilocos releases 5k cash assistance to CAMP beneficiaries
SAN FERNANDO CITY, Apr. 11 (PIA) – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in the Ilocos has started on April 7 the releasing of the Php5,000.00 one-time cash assistance to private formal workers affected by the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.
The cash assistance is under the COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) which aims to provide financial support to affected workers in private establishments to mitigate the adverse economic impact  and reduction of income brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to DOLE in the Ilocos, the agency has already released a total of Php12,270,000.00 as of April 9, benefitting 2,454 workers in the region.
“Ang mga naunang nagsumite, naproseso at navalidate namin ay naabisuhan na i-claim ang kanilang cash assistance through M-Lhuiller pay out centers,” said DOLE Ilocos information officer Arly Sta. Ana Valdez.
CAMP BENEFICIARY RECEIVES 5K CASH ASSISTANCE - A formal worker from Ilocos Norte happily receives Php5,000.00 cash assistance at the M-Lhuiller pay out center under the COVID-19 Adjustment Measure Program (CAMP) of the Department of Labor and Employement (DOLE).   The beneficiaries are given specific instructions through texts and/or e-email providing them with pay out codes.
Companies with applications may regularly check the list of beneficiaries posted on DOLE regional and provincial offices’ official Facebook pages.
“Para naman sa hindi pa kasali sa listahan, hinihingi pa rin namin ang inyong pang-unawa at kooperasyon at kailangang buksan lamang nila ang kanilang mga linya upang maabisuhan namin sa mga kakulangang dokumento na kinakailangan upang maproseso ang kanilang aplikasyon,” Valdez added.
Further, private companies who have not yet applied must submit applications online with complete documentary requirements such as an establishment report on the COVID-19 pursuant to DOLE Labor Advisory No. 09, series of 2020 or the details of the company and the number of workers affected, including the payroll for the month prior to the implementation of the temporary closure.
In the absence of the payroll, affected establishments may submit any of the following documents like worker’s payslip, proof of payment of wages via logbook or ledger, employment contract, cash voucher or petty cash voucher, and other form of salary disbursement as stated in DOLE Labor Advisory No. 12-A series of 2020.
Applications may be denied upon determination of the applicant’s ineligibility, misrepresentation of facts in the application, and submission of falsified or tampered documents.
DOLE in the Ilocos also advised companies to submit only to the official e-mail addresses stated in the directory posted on March 20 at the agency's Facebook pages for smooth tracking of documents.
Relative to this, during the Laging Handa Network Briefing aired on April 10, DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III said that the agency has given a total of Php839.705 million  cash assistance to 167,941 formal workers in the country.
"Out of the 1.4 million formal workers who lost their jobs, DOLE is targeting a total of 700,000 of them to benefit from the program," Sec. Bello said. (JCR/AMB/AHFF, PIA 1)
