En este link tienes una digitalización bastante buena del Salterio de Luttrell, notable ejemplo de la producción editorial por encargo en el siglo XIV.

Luttrell EDC Las Vegas 2022 Live Set
Tumblr media
60-minute audio recording of Luttrell EDC Las Vegas 2022 live set. This set was recorded at CircuitGrounds stage at Electric Daisy Carnival, Sunday, May 22, 2022, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The set began at 8:00 pm.
Rave Tapes · Luttrell - EDC Las Vegas 2022 Live Set
So it's been two weeks since the magic in the desert. I've integrated pretty well back into my family and society. But often my mind is back under the electric sky, surrounded by 100,000 beautiful souls, dancing, vibing, celebrating the music, art, and culture of the EDC community.
I did a pretty good job of getting most of my recordings out in a timely manner. I shared a few sets the same weekend – a process that involves getting back to the hotel each morning, transferring the files to the laptop, crashing for 5-6 hours, waking up to edit and post one or two sets before heading back to the speedway. The rest of the sets were shared within a few days of the festival's end. So far, nine sets have been shared – not bad!
Tonight, I'm adding another to the list.
Every year when contemplating which sets to hit, I'll pick a few "unknowns". When I say unknown, I mean unknown to me. The truth is I'm not the most knowledgeable person about all EDM artists. I'll see some of these cats on Reddit discussing the history of every artist and I'm blown away by their knowledge and reminded how little I know, despite my long involvement with the movement. On any typical EDC lineup, I'll be familiar with perhaps only 20-25 percent of the acts. The rest I really don't know much about. So when Insomniac releases the final lineup the week before the festival, I scramble to discover some new artists I might like and try to work them into my schedule. A lot of times it's a homerun. The artist delivers and I become an instant fan, super excited I captured their set. Kloud, from 2021, was one such example.
Sometimes, however, it's a miss. I'll hit the set but it doesn't live up to my expectations, for one reason or another. Those sets live indefinitely on my hard drives. I don't spend time editing them and they never get shared.
Other times, there are technical problems with the recordings. From this EDC, I recorded the b2b set with Subtronics and Boogie T. The set itself was wonderful. But it happened when fireworks were going off for 15-20 minutes. That wasn't the biggest problem, though. The bigger issue was the sound bleeding from Wasteland next door. The weird thing is the sound from Wasteland wasn't a problem for Virtual Riot or Liquid Stranger. But for some reason – maybe Wasteland turned up the volume – the music coming from the other stage was really noticeable. I may change my mind at some point. Maybe if I get enough requests to share it I'll reconsider.
The set I'm sharing tonight – Luttrell at CircuitGrounds Sunday night – fell somewhere in the middle, initially at least. Luttrell was one of the artists I knew nothing about. When evaluating the early slots Sunday night, nothing was standing out to me. Going though live sets on YouTube and SoundCloud, I was intrigued by Luttrell. The vibe was mellow, but trancy and housy – which I like. Plus, it was going to be at CircuitGrounds, which meant I would be set up for the next two sets - Lee Foss > John Summit – which I was planning to hit.
Luttrell's actual set didn't really move me one way or the other. At the time I thought it was a little subdued, especially for CircuitGrounds, the stage some see as the crown jewel of EDC in terms of sound quality and lineup.
The set was good, but sharing it became a lower priority than many other sets from the weekend.
But dang, how this set has grown on me! The more I listen to it, the more I love it! It was more mellow than most sets I captured, but its mellowness has become the reason I want to keep listening to it, over and over. So many other sets are hard-driving from start to finish – great for raging at a festival, but not ideal for driving or doing work around the house. Good gracious this set has VIBES! It's definitely a slow burn, and honestly it has become one of my favorite recordings from the weekend. This is music I can listen to day in and day out. It has a perfect blend of underground sound with a moderate beat, dense melodies, ethereal auras, and a melancholy that matches my feelings when looking back to the time we had together two weeks ago. Melancholy, meaning, the regret I feel that EDC over, that I have to wait another 12 months to be back again at the happy place.
The sight of a grown man shedding tears in his home office in a suburb of LA, as he pours his heart into a laptop as he recalls the spiritual high he felt at EDC...the sight can't be pretty. But the energy and passion he feels while listening to a live recording in his headphones of Luttrell at CircuitGrounds, almost exactly two weeks ago, is completely genuine. THANK GOD I GOT THIS SET! It is the salve that heals the hurt from realizing EDC 2022 is now a thing of the past, but also it's the remedy that strengthens him to persevere, to keep going, to endure until EDC 2023.
It's funny how this set went from being meh to being an incredibly valuable possession. But that's exactly what happens sometimes with these sets. Maybe this is another reason I need to record. Sometimes I'm just not in the frame of mind to appreciate what is happening before me. Sometimes it takes a half-dozen listens to realize the freakin' gold I witnessed.
And so, with extreme delight, I acknowledge that I've become a sincere fan of Luttrell. In this case it wasn't instant fandom, but more an acquired taste. However, I know I will try to see Luttrell, someday, if he happens to come to LA again. Maybe he'll even be back at the next EDC. One can hope.
I should note that, as of yet, I haven't seen any other recordings of this set. I don't believe it was broadcast on the official stream. No one shared any recordings on Reddit, as far as I know. So this might be it. This might be the one complete record of the set that exists, or at least the only version that's been shared so far. If that's true, then I'd feel really proud. The hours I spent sitting up in bed late at night, frantically scrubbing through live sets trying to discover some "unknown" [to me] talent, paid off. I feel proud that I played some part in sharing the music – and the vibes – with the world. It's moments like these that invigorate me and give me the inspiration to do it all over again, next time. Until then, take care, headliners of EDC!

Well, I think this is the last one for Basingstoke! Rachel Luttrell, in charcoal and pastel pencil. I need to go back over all of my portraits now and make any adjustments. And sort out my costumes!

I adore this picture. I think it's behind the scenes because I'm pretty sure they had their vests and weapons in the actual scene, but it has such "siblings at the family cookout" energy. 💚
Edit not even an hour later, I'm sorry, this is very unfair, but @spurious tagged it a little differently and suddenly the energy shifted and now I'm getting a "we saw you from across the garden party and would like to buy you a drink" vibe and I'm bi panicking and need to lie down for a bit.
