I usually headcanon most non-canon ships I like as childfree partially out of contrarianism (I hate when people ASSUME two people will have kids just because they’re in love) and partially because I don’t want kids and this is my house and I am here mainly to project onto fictional characters

But lawlu? Ohhhh they’re having kids. They’re HAVING kids. Law might not know it yet but they WILL be having multiple children

#cuz like here are my thoughts: #-Luffy was MADE to be a dad there’s no way he doesn’t want to be a dad he’d love it so much #-I think Law is probably conflicted about the idea of having kids bc he has. poor self-image and stuff and thinks he’d be a terrible father #plus just general trauma over him losing his parents and sister and then getting a new father figure and then losing THAT guy too #but Luffy is just like ‘You’re not gonna mess up our kids accidentally because I won’t let you. And you won’t die and leave them all alone #because I won’t let you.’ #and Law is like well. both of those promises seem pretty unrealistic. and Luffy is like but you believe me anyway. and Law is like yeah. #ALSO: #Law: obviously not NOW but like when is the timeline for. WHEN do you want kids #Luffy: uhhh I dunno. HEY SHANKS! How old were you when we met? #Shanks: Uhhh like 25? I think 25 #Luffy: Ok! Torao we’re gonna start having kids when I’m 25 ok? #Law: *is used to Luffy making decisions in questionable ways so he just accepts it*
