The Lost Box

In this AU of mine, the temple would still be destroyed, though under different circumstances. Here, only two boxes managed to survive: the Main Box and this one, the Lost Box. While the main was evacuated by an unknown monk, the lost box was thought to have been destroyed in the temple but somehow managed not to, and is currently in an antique shop in the present day. Here are the kwamis that call this box home.

|Azure Dragon Miraculous|

Concept: Motivation

Jewel: Knuckle Ring

Kwami: Drakke

Weapon: Twirling Baton

Power: Spark

Transformation: "Wings Spread!" "Wings Fold!"

Status: Lost Box

How It Works: When activated, the user takes one of their scales and infuses it with energy (similar to how the butterfly and peacock work). Once the scale fuses with an object on the target, they'll feel a boost in morale, willpower, grand strength, stamina, and battle prowess. The user could also do the opposite and reduce the opposition's combat effectiveness by making the opposing target lose the will to fight, causing them to doubt their chances of victory and give up. When the mission is completed, the user may dismiss the power simply by snapping their fingers or detransforming. Their power can be halted by those who are invulnerable to magic by those who can remove its effects or by someone who breaks the object that scale resides in. 

|Axolotl Miraculous|

Concept: Regeneration

Jewel: Headband

Kwami: Lottie

Weapon: Tuning Fork

Power: Restore

Transformation: "Mend The Thread!" "Take A Break!"

Status: Lost Box

How It Works: When activated, the user can heal any injury afflicting them instantly with a chime from their fork. This also works on inanimate objects, structures, etc. It also functions like a mini "Miraculous Ladybug," but is limited to the radius of the fork's chime.

Concept: Manipulation

Jewel: Bracelet

Kwami: Platyy

Weapon: Kusarigama (Chain-Sickle)

Power: Command

Transformation: "Take Control!" "Cease Control!"

Status: Lost Box

How It Works: When activated, the user must touch their target in order to be able to possess them. If successful, they now have full control of the target's body, and if the target has any powers, they can use them as well. However, when they possess someone, they leave their own body vulnerable to all attacks, so they must either hide it somewhere or have a teammate protect it.

|Elephant Miraculous|

Concept: Recollection

Jewel: Belt Chain

Kwami: Tussk

Weapon: Slingshot

Power: Mind

Transformation: "Trunk Out!" "Trunk Retract!"

Status: Lost Box

How It Works: When activated, the user takes their slingshot and shoots the target with a ball of light. When hit, the user has the ability to manipulate the memory of their target. Whether it be erasing a certain memory (secret identity) or placing a memory to make them think a certain way, the possibilities are endless. All the user has to do is hit their shot and speak into the slingshot for them to utilize their power.

Concept: Alteration

Jewel: Hatpin

Kwami: Quill

Weapon: Javelin

Power: Resize

Transformation: "Spikes Out!" "Stop Poking!"

Status: Lost Box

How It Works: When activated, whatever the user touches, including themselves, has the ability to alter its size. They can shrink objects or people down to small proportions (Asstruck's ego) or grow them to gigantic proportions. However, only experienced users have the ability to shrink things to microscopic levels and grow things on a galactic scale.

Road to 2024 Worlds: Week 2

Just one event this weekend and it was a little like 15 player League Challenge. I've been super busy lately and it's early on in the season so hopefully I don't get punished too hard for not going to literally every event all the time because that is expensive and exhausting.

Saturday, Aug. 5: League Challenge, 4th Place (3-3)

I played turbo Lost Box again for the hell of it. Still a pretty awful list but the deck is so powerful it doesn't often matter. I honestly didn't miss Raikou at all this event. (I finally found my copy of it though so I can play a better deck next time!)

Here's how it went: T vs Miraidon T vs Lost Tina W vs Mew W vs Chien-Pao

Starting 0-0-2 is very fun in these tournaments. I was pretty checked out after the second one! But winning the next two guaranteed 4th and the possibility of that happening scared 2 people away from IDing so...small victories?

I actually ended up pairing into the only 3-0 (who also happened to be a friend I've been playing with since I was like 14) in the last round which was a little weird to me as there were other people with better records than my 1-0-2 that could've paired him instead. That man had been drawing god hands all day and he finally hit the end of the streak against me. Good beats, I guess?

Puts us at 20/600.

These are the hd port versions of the recaps from all three games. I like how each one is of Luke just welcoming you back to the game with a friendly wave and smile. Like he's happy to see the player again at the beginning of the story recap and each one is just Luke riding in the respective mode of transportation.

I sure hope that this kind of recap returns for Nwos. It's a very charming way to welcome the player back and catch them up with story events. If they continue with the transportation idea I would love to see the hot-air balloon used from one of the promotional art.

A Miraculous AU?

Let this be known to all: I'm a shitwriter; however, that doesn't mean I can't have ideas for something like an AU. Hence, I present to you T.O.G.A.F., which stands for Tales of Gamer & Friends (this is very much a placeholder name). On this page, I will have all my ideas about how I would handle the story, what miraculouses exist, and other things that aren't coming to mind. Road to 2024 Worlds: Week 1

This was my first weekend of competitive play for the new season. Here's what I got up to:

Friday, Jul. 21: Weekly League, 3rd place(2-0-2)

No CP awarding going on here, but I do these to get games in with a couple of friends every now and then. I played Gardevoir with a Lost Vacuum and a split of Forest and Sky Seal Stone.

Here's how it went: T vs United Wings W vs Palkia T vs Lugia SS W vs Fusion Mew

Played against my testing partner in the last round and absolutely blew him away with the Sky Seal Stone he didn't know I put in my deck. We usually know each other's lists very well, but he had just gotten back from vacation and I took our resulting testing drought as a fun opportunity to surprise him.

Saturday, Jul. 22: League Cup, 20th Place (3-3)

Played the same list as the day before. Daniel Altavilla, Chip Richey and his brother were there playing, along with a few other local friends. The cup ended up with 40 players and was an absolute blast.

So close but so far. I can't say I didn't have fun though. I definitely had variance not go my way a good number of times.

In Round 2, I played a Temple of Sinnoh and Iono'd my opponent to 2 cards. I needed them to whiff a counter stadium for a turn to have a chance and they...didn't. Kind of unlucky, given that they hadn't thinned their deck much that game but such is life.

In Round 3, I lost after missing a highly probable Boss's Orders for game. On my final turn, I had 9 cards left in deck. I drew for turn, taking me down to 8. I used Mew's Mysterious Tale finding an Ultra Ball, thinning my deck down to 7. I used Refinement to draw 2 cards, taking me down to 5. Then, I played the Ultra Ball to find Shining Arcana Gardevoir, played it and used Shining Arcana to draw 2 more cards, leaving my deck at 2. My 2 remaining Boss's Orders were in the bottom 3 cards. Woof.

The other loss I'm honestly not sure how I managed. I had some awkward draws but it felt okay-ish. I probably just made a couple misplays that I can't remember. No X-2's made cut that day so I didn't feel too bad about it.

A friend ended up taking it down with UrshiInteleon. I probably would not have fared well in that top cut anyways.

Going 3-3 at my first League Cup of the season is a time honored tradition with 3 seasons of history behind it, so...yeah. Tradition!

Sunday, Jul. 23: League Challenge, 3rd place (2-0-1)

I was conflicted on if I even wanted to go to this one. I hadn't heard good things about recent changes made to this store, but I decided that Championship Points are more important than well run events so there I went.

I was a little burnt out on Gardie, so I decided to sleeve up Turbo Lost Box, turn my brain off and have some fun. I couldn't find my copy of Raikou V and didn't have extra Forest Seal Stones handy so I ended up just playing a weird suboptimal list. It was just a small event after all. Most of the more invested players in the area travelled the extra hour to the League Cup that happened on the same day.

Here's how it went: T vs Chien Pao W vs Lugia W vs Lugia

There was supposed to be a fourth round, but the organizer made a mistake. I wanted to play more Poke, so I was left a little disappointed but it is what it is. There were 3 2-0-1s by the end and my resistance ended up being the worst.

One story I really do want to share is that my round 3 opponent conceded after seeing his opening hand, packed up all his stuff and declared "I'm going to go home, get drunk and watch Tokyo Ghoul." and then did exactly that. My opening hand was fire and I'm a little sad I didn't get to play it out but at least I got a funny story out of it.

My testing partner ended up getting first with Fusion Mew though! The car came home with 25 CP so...profit?

That was the whole weekend for me! Pretty uneventful but I got to play three days of Poke so I have minimal complaints.

Hello I mcyt fandom-ified la Team du Lundi members and wrote a shit ton of text about it

After exhausting myself on trying to catch up on the current QSMP lore I got a sudden craving for a more familiar and fast paced kind of minecraft content and ended up rewatching all the Team du Lundi's SMP best of's I could find

And while doing so with my brain still hazed in fandom brainrot, I started picking up on minor details or info the players casually dropped, and drew parallels to the French speakers' QSMP counterparts This is going to be a long wordy post I don't even know what I am rambling about and for. Three things you need to be aware of about la Team du Lundi before reading :

Baghera, Antoine and Etoiles are the only QSMP players that are part of la Team du Lundi

As far as I remember the only two elements that suggest that la Team du Lundi's SMP could be canon to QSMP are Antoine being pressured into building another Tower of Shit, and Baghera's infamous fountain being mentioned when she was asked if her character remembers anything from her past before the island

La Team du Lundi's SMP was NOT a roleplaying server, it was just a private survival server for a small circle of friends casually playing together. So whenever I quote someone in this specific post, it is the streamer : there is no character other than the persona the streamer is usually showing on stream, but I just thought it would be fun to interpret certain situations while keeping in mind the QSMP lore. And here goes :

Baghera claims that when she was a kid she strongly believed that she could breathe underwater. The others joke about her having fins

Antoine jokingly tells Baghera he doesn’t need oxygen at all

Antoine claims he will still be alive thousands of years forwards

Antoine’s voice shifts when he wants to appear creepy

Baghera built an aquarium at her place, then helped Antoine build one at his tower, then built a giant swimming pool, then a fountain, then a waterslide- do you see a theme ?

Baghera knows that her skin is actually that of a chick and not a duckling, and calls it so here

Chat said that Baghera has a middle child syndrome, justifying that she bullies Angle Droit because Etoiles bullies her in the first place (Etoiles has also called her « little sister » in a derogatory way)

Etoiles has repeatedly asked people to play Valorant with him at least once

Here's a clip of Etoiles getting languaged in french and owing "a gifted sub in the swear jar"

Unrelated random clip of Etoiles because it creates happy hormones in me brain

Etoiles is regularly refered to as "the warrior"

Etoiles guided the whole group during an expedition to the End and he was literally glowing doing so (enchanted arrows effect) Everyone called him "the guide"

Baghera was the one who gave the final blow to the Enderdragon (and died from magic right after)

Etoiles spent most of his time adventuring in order to bring stuff and gear back to everyone for their builds

Etoiles asked Aypierre for help in order to design a redstone door for his cave which could only open upon solving a puzzle (which was egg & arrow related) (Aypierre was not a member of the server)

Etoiles built a nightclub with the walls and ceiling covered in wardenblocks making it look like a starry sky. He also rehomed Allays holding golden apples inside claiming them to be the souls working for him and that they lived there peacefuly

Etoiles jokingly talks about Antoine acting jealous and violent towards him because Etoiles told him he wanted to go and visit Kameto (who also was not a member of the server)

Baghera (along with Horty) had a rivalry with Joueur du Grenier (host of the server with admin powers) after he decided to build a massive parking lot right next to their house. They countered by covering the whole thing with dirt, followed by JDG building a factory and the two parties went back and forth. Baghera argued that it was stupid because they didnt even have cars to begin with (which is a sentence she reused when talking about Forever's roads) Also she tells JDG that he could've built a seaport instead, which makes JDG contemplate the thought of building an airport (and though he ended up never building it, I am side eyeing the French's plane crash)

At some point JDG wonders about what a roleplaying minecraft server would look like (RPZ 2), to which Baghera replies that she has a hard time picturing the thing "We'd all just build things you see ? I don't think we'd create stories, we would all just be like "I'm a builder, ah you too ? Well awesome, builders, cool"" and I find this to be hilariously ironic (fun fact : Baghera had no idea that QSMP was a roleplaying server when she first joined and often claims she would've taken a different approach with her character had she known right off the gate)

As I was finishing to write this down, these fuckers (/lh) decided to host a closure night for the server as they've never really officially did it, everyone just sort of deserted the server after a while. Baghera, Etoiles and Antoine kept referring to QSMP throughout the night, mostly talking about how weird it felt without mods. Among other meta commentary things

They mentionned Cellbit and Bad multiple times as the group was trying to solve enigmas. Antoine talked about "the cultural sharing" between communities as he taught insults to each others with Mike, Roier and Maximus in their respective languages Multiple more players were namedropped (including eggs) while Antoine was talking about how the server functions

Yes, Baghera and Etoiles kept their QSMP skins. Etoiles with his code corrupted purgatory one, and Baghera with her fading pink disheveled hair (with the addition of her cubito wearing Horty's merch)

Baghera admits that going back to this small familiar vanilla server feels like coming back home to your family during the holidays

Team du Lundi's cameos in QSMP :

Though Pomme has never canonically met JDG (even though most of her parents have talked about him to her at least once), she occasionaly breaks the 4th wall to refer to him. She once compared one of BBH's "vacation" flower shirts with his, and when Foolish and Bad asked her to elaborate (obviously not getting the reference) she proceeded to play JDG's music theme with the flute instead (Also I really feel the need to once more point out how mindblowing it is for your average french speaking viewer to have JDG's intro theme being added to the mod they use in the QSMP because of how anchored it is within french internet pop culture. Like this shit has been existing for 14 fucking years, it's part of the childhood of a lot of us, so to find a clip of British hardcore player Philza peacefuly listening to Mexican egg admin Tallulah play this theme on her flute feels like a multiverse fever dream)

Horty has been on Quesadilla Island through cc!Baghera's account, but neither of them really wanted to justify it RP wise. Baghera just wanted to give her best friend a tour of the island. Horty only got to meet Richarlyson who gave her a tour of Cellbit's castle and made her pick a room (she chose Chaos). She also chatted with Etoiles who tagged along for a bit and (this is obviously justified by it being a one-shot out of roleplay filler episode kind of night) they both already knew each other and were on friendly enough terms to bicker with one another Also she was part of the French speakers Quackity reached out to to invite on the server, but she had to decline because she was very busy at that time (and also not interested) Also also she was Baghera's teammate for that Formula 4 event, and Baghera has discussed it and showed pictures to a couple of islanders, including Richas who was very hyped about it

Another player the viewers were hoping to see on Quackity's server is Mynthos. He exists within the server with the picture of him that hangs in Pomme's art gallery, the cursed animation video that used to play in La France, as well as with Aypierre's health potion factory that bears his name

Angle Droit and Zerator are sometimes namedropped when the French speakers talk with their chat. Angle Droit frequently raids Baghera's and Antoine's streams, and though it has never been confirmed, a lot of viewers theorized that she was the +1 player Baghera and Etoiles wanted to invite on the server had they won the elections.

As for Zera, Etoiles went AFK on QSMP a couple of times in order to test some of Zerator's TrackMania maps (which he later discussed with Pac). I also remember a very trivial conversation Etoiles had with Mouse and Aypierre where he laughed about hurting his back very badly after carrying a fellow streamer during a caritative event, said event was hosted by Zerator (he's also the one judging them with concern from his desk)

Finished the Royal Centibytes, in both pre- and post-conversion flavors!

I thought court jesters would be a fun change of pace from king/queen or prince/princess- there's a precedent for royals to occasionally be things like heralds and war(?)horses, and I wanted to make a royalgirl who isn't a princess, noblewoman, or queen. I got to learn a little about some historical female court jesters while looking for references, which was cool!

I agonized for a while over whether I should put eyelashes on the one that I arbitrarily assigned 'Royalgirl', but ended up deciding that they look cute.

#i'm happy with these but i feel like the proportions got away from me a bit #i was so focused with getting clear and energetic poses that fit all the limbs in that i kind of lost their lankiness #i think its partially the struggle of working with something i designed in 2018 that doesn't fit well into a 150x150 box #the lenny is also tall and gets away with leaving a lot of negative space in its circle/happy poses while not losing clarity #but its head is less complicated to draw on a small scale; there's less detail to lose #i could try to fuck with more extreme perspectives to get things to fit without sacrificing the proportions. like g1 pokemon sprites #well. that's enough outta me #my art #centibytes #neopets #i'll update my webbed site with them in a bit; i wanna eat lunch
