Lollapalooza Argentina 2020: el off radar nacional

No solamente de artistas internacionales vive y respira el Lollapalooza Argentina. Para seguir haciendo la previa de la séptima edición del festival más grande del mundo, te vamos a contar cuales son los seis artistas locales a los que –tal vez– tenés fuera de tu radar y que, sin lugar a dudas, no te podés perder a lo largo del mejor fin de semana del año. Hacé lugar en tu planificación, porque acá vas a encontrar todo lo que necesitás para disfrutar a pleno de lo mejor de la música nacional.

LUCÍA TACHETTI

Oriunda de Bahía Blanca, Lucía Tachetti se encuentra en una nueva etapa de su vida artística. Luego de explorar su costado más íntimo y acústico en sus primeros dos discos (‘Feriado’ y ‘Degradé’), esta cantante y compositora decidió pisar el acelerador a fondo para adentrarse en los sinuosos caminos del pop y la música electrónica más tradicionales. En la mayoría de las entrevistas que le realizaron el año pasado, ella sostuvo con firmeza que su más reciente disco, ‘Vol.3D’ (2018), es el que la define de la manera más correcta y precisa. Afirmación que tiene sentido, pues es su trabajo más completo y estructuralmente coherente y el lugar en el que finalmente logró concretar todo lo que venía insinuando desde su irrupción en el año 2015.

Cultora de la búsqueda sonora y estética permanente, de eso que debería mover a todos los artistas sin excepciones, Lu Tachetti se configura como una de las grandes protagonistas de esta nueva década. En tan solo cinco años, logró ingresar de lleno en una escena emergente cada vez más rica y amplia, siendo esta edición del Lollapalooza Argentina una oportunidad para generar ese quiebre que la lleve a un público mucho más amplio. LOUTA

Es extraño encontrar a Louta dentro de una lista de recomendaciones enfocada en los nombres ocultos dentro de la grilla del Lollapalooza Argentina 2020, pero lo cierto es que los últimos meses han encontrado al mejor performer del país apostando por el perfil bajo. Claro que el silencio posterior a la presentación de su muy exitoso segundo disco de estudio (‘ENCHASTRE’ de 2018) no significó que Jaime James se durmiese en los laureles. Además de grabar una sesión con Bizarrap en la que confirmó que el trap y el rap han sido siempre una parte elemental de su persona artística, lanzó el videoclip oficial de “No Te Comas La Peli” –canción con muchísimo flow, un fraseo rabioso y una calidez digna de las películas románticas de los ‘80– y cerró el 2019 con un show gratuito multitudinario en Chacarita.

Ecléctico, versátil, desprejuiciado, feroz y más hambriento que nunca, Louta regresa al gran escenario global para romper una vez con los esquemas predeterminados y estrenar un nuevo show que muy posiblemente supere con creces a sus antecesores. ZOE GOTUSSO

La de Zoe Gotusso es una de las voces más bellas de la actualidad. Es más bien complicado –o una tarea para un necio– refutar esta afirmación, pues los hechos son justamente eso: hechos. Luego de que decidiese tomar un respiro de su proyecto junto a Santiago Celli, Salvapantallas (otro de esos éxitos irrefutables construidos en base a la calidad artística y al reinado de la inmediatez 2.0), Zoe se metió de lleno en su (todavía en construcción) faceta solista.

Faceta que viene explotando hace algunos años y que tiene como productos más recientes a las agradables y melódicas “Calefón” y “Monoambiente en Capital”, pero que va a necesitar de una vuelta de tuerca contundente para –por más difícil que suene– poder separarla del sonido de su anterior banda y acercarla a un público que, aún sin ser fanático del indie pop más campestre, encontrará en su voz una guía para quedar encantado.

Resta saber si llegará con nuevas canciones bajo el brazo, pero lo cierto es que este Lollapalooza Argentina será un gran desafío para una artista que saldrá al ruedo con un formato que es más bien simple, pero que no por ello es interesante en esta intensa era digital. LAS LIGAS MENORES

Un EP y dos discos de larga duración conforman la breve pero poderosa discografía de Las Ligas Menores. Liderada por Anabella Cartolano, esta banda oriunda de Caballito ha logrado crecer a pasos agigantados y, en paralelo, elevar a la escena del indie rock porteño hacia niveles impensados hace una década. Dueñas de un sonido por completo internacional, reminiscente a las escenas Grunge y Alternativa de los años ’90, se han consolidado como un número fijo en todos los festivales nacionales y regionales, consiguiendo también moverse con solidez dentro del circuito entre underground y mainstream de Europa.

El amparo de la familia de Laptra Discos y de El Mató A Un Policía Motorizado son dos cuestiones que solían ser parte de la conversación habitual respecto de Las Ligas Menores, pero desde el momento en el que pudieron tocar en el Festival Coachella (hace tan solo tres años) y llenar toda sala que se propusiesen dentro de la Argentina, todo cambió para siempre. Alcanza con recordar la genuina sonrisa de Cartolano el día de la presentación oficial de ‘Fuego Artificial’ (2018) ante un Niceto Club sold out, para poder entender el significado de este quinteto dentro de nuestra escena musical.

Frescura, amistad y (¿Por qué no?) un poco de furia. Tres ingredientes que hacen de Las Ligas Menores un número imperdible tanto para los habitués como para quienes estén buscando descubrir cuáles son los sonidos que motorizan la actualidad argentina. TRUENO

Del corazón de La Boca al centro del mundo, Trueno ha pasado por absolutamente todo antes de convertirse en el cierre del año pasado en el Campeón Nacional de la Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos y de la Freestyle Master Series Argentina. Dueño de un freestyle que mejoró muchísimo en los últimos dos años, utilizará estos logros para lanzarse de cabeza a una carrera musical que promete como mínimo ser interesante. Camino similar al recorrido por WOS, Mateo Palacios ya cuenta con una sesión junto a Bizarrap y un remix del tema “C90” junto a Bhavi, John C y Neo Pistea), pero todavía tendrá que recorrer mucho para poder alcanzar al máximo exponente del rap en nuestro país.

Es evidente que para Trueno no se trata de una competencia con el actual rey, sino de una convivencia que sin dudas será muy fructífera para su música. Haber logrado tanto en menos de cuatro años de carrera y con casi dieciocho años de edad (los cumplirá poco antes del inicio del festival) no es poca cosa, aunque si alguna vez tuvo que pulir mucho su técnica para poder llegar a la cima, será clave el poder aprender de los errores para no tropezar de forma prematura en una escena que entroniza muy rápido pero que perdona muy poco.

Su show en el Lollapalooza Argentina 2020 será otra prueba de fuego: durante la Final Internacional de la Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos, Trueno no pudo sentirse cómodo en ningún momento, cayendo en los Cuartos de Final ante un muy afilado Aczino. Una de esas experiencias que ayudan a entender la complejidad del universo del freestyle y que sin dudas impulsarán una aguerrida defensa del título local en la próxima edición. YSY-A

Nombre vital y central para meterse de lleno en lo que ha sido el desarrollo meteórico de la escena del trap argentino, YSY-A llega al Lollapalooza Argentina 2020 para demoler el escenario. Merecedor sin dudas del prime-time y dueño de uno de los grandes discos del año pasado (‘Hecho A Mano’), este creador buscará utilizar al escenario del festival más grande del mundo como plataforma para expandir su música aún más lejos de lo que ya ha llegado.

Quién no guste del trap o de la música urbana en general, muy posiblemente sienta que es un artista a esquivar dentro de la planificación diaria; la realidad marca que el reciente acercamiento que tuvo con las raíces de la música popular argentina y que el hecho de haber tomado el riesgo de grabar una placa con nueve canciones producidas por nueve nombres de peso (Asan, Bles, Halpe, Orodembow, 0600 y Omar Varela, entre tantos) son motivos más que suficientes como para darle al menos una oportunidad.

Sus shows son de los más intensos y adrenalínicos de la región, algo que siempre es un plus dentro de los fanáticos más hardcore de este sub-género del rap. Pero, por sobre todo, dos muy sólidas placas lo respaldan, algo extraño en un momento en el que el género urbano latino se vuelca más hacia la avalancha de singles antes que a la coherencia estructural y la artesanía que implica un álbum.
