Lili Reinhart Is the New Face of CoverGirl

Allure got the exclusive on the star's exciting new role.

Lili Reinhart is having one hell of a great year — and that's putting it lightly. In addition to starring in the box office hit Hustlers alongside Cardi B and Jennifer Lopez, she's been slaying as the beloved Betty Cooper in the fourth season of Riverdale and promoting her poetry book, Swimming Lessons, which is set to hit shelves next year. As if that weren't enough, she's also acting and producing a film for Amazon Studios based on Krystal Sutherland's 2016 novel, Chemical Hearts. The girl can do it all.

Now, the 23-year-old wunderkind has yet another title to add to her already-impressive résumé: CoverGirl ambassador.

Joining the roster of beauty legends including Maye Musk, Issa Rae, and Zendaya (to name just a few), Reinhart will serve as the face of a still-top-secret CoverGirl collection that's due to drop next spring. Given her unstoppable career and the unique relationship she has with her 20 million followers — not to mention Riverdale's notorious featuring of CoverGirl products — it's no wonder the drugstore giant chose Reinhart to be its newest ambassador. Fun fact: She did her own makeup for the campaign announcement photo. How cool is that?

Erika Woods, CoverGirl's vice president of marketing, shed some light on the brand's decision to go with Reinhart, writing in a statement: "We're excited for Lili to join our family as she embodies a woman who is unapologetically herself — she is authentic, talented, and truly lives by what she believes in."

As for Reinhart's response, she couldn't be happier and feels honored to represent a brand that champions folks for who they are. In a statement sent to Allure via email, she says: "I have always been a huge believer in embracing one's uniqueness and finding ways to feel good in your own skin. Since I was 13, makeup has been an incredible source of confidence for me and a tool that can be used to enhance the natural beauty that exists in all of us," she says. "I am so honored to partner with CoverGirl, an iconic brand that is inclusive of anyone who finds the joy in playing with makeup."

We'll be here counting down the days until CoverGirl announces its new collection with Reinhart front and center. Until then, a huge congrats to the actress on such an incredible accomplishment. And to think: This is only the beginning for her.
