Let the games begin!

I've got the first eight matches ready to go! This will be Round 1A, and I'll work on getting Round 1B and 1C out tomorrow, and then 1D will most likely get done on Tuesday.

At the bottom of each poll I put a little "review" section where I put one or two lines taken from the submission form where y'all said why you love these characters despite their deeds and reputations. You guys are hilarious and I know I love seeing what you have to say about your faves. But let me know if it's annoying and I'll take it off for the next round!

Finally, as a reminder you're voting for the character that is the most problematic fave. This doesn't necessarily mean a villain (although they often are) but it's a character you love who has done bad things, to the point that they are hated and reviled among large parts of the fandom, and often liking them means that the fandom hates and reviles you as well. We love these characters because they're interesting, they're dynamic, they're complex and so fascinating we want to watch them run around a little maze in a lab, sometimes we love them because they're relatable and we see some part of our own experiences in them, and sometimes they're just plain sexy!!

Now, all that above is a really, really wordy thing to put in front of every poll so I just stuck a little blurb on each poll as a reminder to vote for the most problematic fave. Again, if they're annoying or they don't make sense let me know (gently! and kindly!!) and I'll take them off for the next rounds!
