Limbus slugcats I did between uni work and owed art! Partially inspired by ari-zonia's Limbus slugcats I saw a while ago, but I also wanted to do my own take on em! Also includes iterator Dante for funsies.

I had clearer ideas for some of them than others, struggled to think of something for Hong Lu & Meursault but instantly knew what I wanted to do for Don Quixote and Sinclair. It was fun to figure out though!

All of the info/etc assumes:

All hard-mode spawns

Ascension is the goal of the campaign

Definitely not balanced, I just like numbers

Yi Sang - The Researcher

Frail

0.8 spear damage

1.4 speed

Can craft pearls (does not contain data)

Double jump at Karma 5+

Faust - The Scientist

Stats alter based on karma level

Lower karma = higher stats

Higher karma = lower stats

Speed never goes lower than 1.2

other people have talked about rodya's facade more eloquently than me, but as a makeup enjoyer and femme lesbian i want to highlight a bit of her design i think is interesting

rodya is always wearing a full face of makeup.

some of this could be the art style and i'll get to that, but she has shaped brows, eyeshadow, probably eyeliner and mascara if not outright lashes, blush, and lipstick/gloss/stain. this amount of products usually also goes along with things that are intended to be less noticeable, like primer, foundation, concealer, contouring and highlighting, setting spray, and other products like creams, serums, and toners. this isn't even getting into applicator tools like brushes and everything that goes along with maintaining those, or makeup removal products

contrast to the other sinners:

seems like female characters all get a bit of color in their cheeks, including ones i'm certain wouldn't bother with makeup. (this is why i'm uncertain about the brows and liner/lashes because they all look pretty defined and there is no fucking way in hell don quixote is spending time on shaping her brows.)

do you know how much time it takes to do a full face like this? this is at minimum two products, probably way more. rodya's presentation is something that takes time, effort, and practice and she has never been shown without it, even in the yurodiviye days when she was extremely poor:

what this says to me is that makeup is really important to her. rodya is someone who will do anything to mask her own insecurities or perceived flaws. doing a full face every day, even at her job where she knows she will be subject to horrors like dismemberment, death, evisceration, etc, is a massive exertion of control over how others see her.

it's a neat part of her character design!
