interesting how people think this was a “happy” ending. on the contrary, everyone is in the exact position korn wants them to be. kp “ended” with korn winning and manipulating everyone again. therefore, it is not an end, but setting up a whole new plot.

korn killed gun before he could finish what he was going to say about nampheung. what was it? we don’t know. he said “history is written by the victors” when he saw the pic of kinn and porsche in love. he is using their love to his advantage and by making porsche head of the minor family, he eliminated a huge threat bc he knows porsche would never betray kinn. he has leverage over porsche and he can oversee everything. he has won.

korn is the one who killed porsche’s father. when porsche had his first flashback he saw gun sitting down and korn standing. so gun’s explanation seemed to be true. he was about to spoil a secret so dire that korn had to instantly kill him for fear kp would hear it.

now, there are so many loose ends to tie and plots to uncover. what is nampheung’s deal? was she pretending all this time? what was gun going to say? what was korn’s plan all along?

he is moving everyone around like chess pieces. at the end of the first episode, he began his chest match and said “let’s begin.” the events of whole show have been korn’s doing. he has won the match. if he has won, it cannot end there. there must be justice.

the way I see it, there is so much to go on from here with a second season. kinn and porsche still have to realise korn’s deceit. and the only way to take korn down is if kinn realises all this himself and dethrone’s korn by his own choice. with porsche’s help. and perhaps even vegas’s help. kinn still needs to grow into the strong mafia leader and be the true head of the main family instead of listening to his father’s orders. and the journey to that point is not easy.

Given that Pete and Vegas have comedic moments in season 1, in season 2 I require a very awkward first date between them. I need the cringe. I need Vegas not really knowing how to go on a real date because he never liked anyone that way. And he puts on that fake grinning mask he always used to wear. And Pete being himself is just questioning why is Vegas acting like this, so he thinks Vegas did something and is trying to distract him. Pure comedy vegaspete yes, that's what I'm asking. Yeah, yeah, we'll have angst and development and highs and lows. But I need a sequel from that stupid back and forth between blood types where Vegas rolled his eyes at Pete calling himself cool and handsome.

Number one thing I want from season two is porsche and kinn comforting each other after they had to put up a tough face in front of people during family business. Just one of them being allowed to break down in private, while the other holds him and tells him "it's all right, you did good. I'm proud of you," and both of them feeling like they don't have to take on the world on their own anymore, like they finally have someone to share the burden with.

Number two is porchay having the time of his life watching kim try to make his way back groveling, begging to be forgiven, while tankhun watches over in delight.

Number three is big back from the dead.

In honor of announcement of the fate Kinnporsche season 2 this Wednesday I would like to present my long overdue wish for the plot of season 2.

All in all, I want Korn to go down, and I want Vegas to become the instigator.

Let’s first take a look back to the actual underlying plot of the Kinnporsche Chessgame from the perspective of papa Korn in S1. He has one goal and that is to take down the minor family aka his brother. They are uncontrollable and Korn needs a minor family head he can control. So, he has been faking sickness and ‘given’ the power to Kinn, so that when he fakes his death, the minor family will try to stage a coup, which is the only legit excuse for Korn to kill his brother.

BUT we still need a minor family. And one that can be controlled. Enter Porsche who Korn makes Kinn take on as a bodyguard, but really Korn is planning on making him the head of the minor family, when he kills his brother. I don’t think he really cares what Porsche’s relationship to Kinn is, and he his definitely not counting on them falling on love. But either way Korn has controll over Porsche because he has his mother. It all works out more than perfectly for Korn. Porsche becomes loyal to Kinn, who is loyal to his father. Korn has control over Porsche and Chay because he has their mother, and by sheer luck he now also has control of the most uncontrolled liability for the whole thing – Kim, who can be controlled with having Chay. And EVEN more luck when Vegas and Pete get together, because even though Pete is loyal to Vegas, he is also loyal to the major family. And the thing Vegas and Pete disagrees the most on is that Korn is a good man and that Vegas should just get on his side. Just perfect for papa Korn, who put everyone in a checkmate and now has them in their separate little fishbowls.

SO season 2. Listen I am a Vegas woo girl through and through and I want him to be the absolute hero of the show for my own selfish reasons. In short. I want Vegas to stand his ground against the major family, to somehow get the evidence that Korn has been manipulating everyone forever and that there is a huge important secret that Kan was about to reveal when he got shot. I want Season 2 to be about shifting loyalty to the old generation and the new making their own rules and set of players. I want Vegas to be the biggest advocate for freedom from their manipulating fathers and the systems of oppression and deceit they have created. (Maybe Venice enters the picture and set these thoughts in motion for Vegas?). I want Vegas to team up with Kim and I want him to get Pete on his side against Korn, then for them to convince Porsche and in the - of course the most difficult one - Kinn. Obviously this would create a lot of tension and problems for the all the couples and their relationships. But I think it would be really fun to shake it up a bit. I also really want to see Vegas as a leader (I think he would be really good at it) and him and Kim working together would be terrifying and really fun.

I really thought that the Chess Game of Loyalty plot from S1 was very well thought out and subtle even though it determined a lot of the events in the show. I would honestly settle for ANY KP VP KC content being announced. I am starving for more of these characters. BUT if I had my way this is what I would wish for season 2.

KinnPorsche Season2- My Slightly Unhinged Wants

So I definitely thought I made like an actual post about all the random shit I want in season 2 to make it just the most insane thing, but unless I didn't tag it right I can't find it. So I'm making an actual list here.

Korn dies off screen for real before the season even starts. I don't care, I want him gone, he's just gonna make shit awful and I don't want it.

VegasPete domesticity as well as murder husbands, at least spread throughout the season. This is not necessarily unhinged, but I'm hoping writing it down will make it happen.

Big comes back as a ghost-based exclusively on these pics, because Nodt looks phenomenal in white.

He haunts the main family compound, but can only be seen and heard by Porchay (classic only kids can see ghosts shenanigans) and splits his time between trying to matchmake Arm and Pol and shit talking Porsche. Porchay assists with both.

4. A masquerade ball solely so that I can see this costuming happen (original post so you can see big picture):

I want Apo in a corset waistcoat with everything I have. Bodyguards are dressed as stupidly sexy penguins a la this post ... and I want to see Pete in this dress...

Do I have any clue what this masquerade ball is for or how it fits into the plot...absolutely not.

5. As far as actually including the mafia setting, I'm going with now that Korn and Gun are both gone, smaller families are trying to take over. Some are banding together, some are coming alone, but the Theerapanyakuls have to be on high alert. This leads to EVERYONE, minor family too, having to move into the main family compound and actually work as a team to figure out who they might be able to trust, and also working towards trusting each other. Vegas, Macau, and Tankhun all under the same roof....the sass will be through the roof. Iconic, perfection.

6. In addition to Chay helping ghost Big with his matchmaking scheme, everyone in the house adores baby Chay. All of them are this meme...

...and Chay takes full advantage of it leading to many a tiktok dance shenanigan.

7. This post about a show with the main and minor family aunties (RIP Erica, badass queen forever in our hearts) and bringing in Pete's grandma, amazing. The fun twist to it for my season 2: for safety and because she's getting up in years Pete has Grandma brought to the compound too. Cue her being another absolute menace to all of the Theerapanyakul men. I imagine her teaching Vegas to cook the way Pete likes, but also gossiping about all of the TPK men in front of them with Pete in their southern dialect no one else can understand. An amazing moment where she offhandedly mentions how she covered up Pete's fathers death (after Pete killed him, bc that's what I headcanon bc Pete's pa was an abusive piece of garbage) and everyone is in shock at this tiny badass. Ohhh there would be so much hilarity.

8. Season 2 ends with a KinnPorsche wedding, one that is almost ruined in the penultimate episode by another siege by the last holdouts trying to grab up TPK territory. We get the debut of Venice. Arm and Pol finally get together. Tankhun is ecstatic. Chay also finds out he got accepted to university.

I may add more as I think about it, but like...this is kind of a lot for a single season.

kp season 2 shenanigans we need pt. 1

a masquerade ball - why? why not! you know both kinn & porsche and vegas & pete would roleplay the shit out of the event. kp would turn it into some x-rated cinderella concept and vp would raid a bondage store and show up to traumatize everyone.

porsche threatening to quit 50 times with tankhun-esque dramatics because his ring came with so much paperwork. one time he calls vegas and offers to hire him as his administrative assistant and vegas just laughs before hanging up.

since chay has entered book 2 of his wattpad trilogy of love, we need to introduce macau into his storyline as a new friend for kim to see as a romantic rival.

(i don't care how unrealistic this is but imagine macau at school, eating his lunch and from the corner of his eye he sees someone enter the cafeteria, brutally ignore his asshole cousin kim's attempt of a greeting and boom, it's like this adorable boy with a proud tilt to his chin is bathed in the same gay halo as porsche was in ep 1 and macau is like damn, he's so cool. then he finds out it's chay, asshole porsche's brother and he is so betrayed and vegas will just laugh. i have a feeling vegas will do a lot of more or less spiteful, no fucks given, live love laughing in season 2.)
