This is a pivotal moment. #JordanNeely was homeless. He was someone that dealt with mental illness. He had over 40 prior arrests. He verbally threatened to hurt people on a #NYC subway. With all these things I just wrote, did he deserve to be killed on a train because he made threats verbally? Allegedly he became agitated while panhandling for food and drink on an F Train. A Marine Vet decided to take it upon himself to restrain Jordan via a chokehold. This chokehold ended up killing Jordan. Some people feel it was justified for the civilian to act. Others feel that a random civilian shouldn’t have the right to kill someone based solely on what a person is saying. This is my opinion. We should be able to protect ourselves. There is a level where you go past protecting yourself and you move in to going outside of what the law allows. I believe that Jordan was a victim. A person shouldn’t be choked to death solely because of what they have said. I believe this was a murder and the person that killed Jordan should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Let me just take the time to address the bigots we allow to masquerade as intellectual voices. A BLACK MAN WAS ACTUALLY LYNCHED ON THE TRAIN BY A WHITE MAN and wasn’t arrested or charged and he’s calling a politician rightly calling for that white man’s prosecution a LYNCHING!

These bigots in the media foam at the mouth to co-opt movement language and Black trauma at any chance possible. He specifically chose to call it a lynching because he wants to disrespect + outrage Black ppl as he ignores our humanity and real lynchings, to victimize a white man.
