i told someone in my family about the ah vs jd trial. like a summation and what happened and who won and stuff ('cause they're kinda old; don't use the internet so didn't know) and their first answer was "SHE beat HIM up? and what was he, stupid? why did he let it happen?"
like
the only proof you need that more conversations need to happen around male dv and if you're abused you're not "weak" and you don't need to "man up". it's got nothing to do with gender. it's about power imbalance. it's about psychological harm. it's about manipulation. if your loyalties are still bound to gender, that women can just NOT be a bad person, you need to revaluate your moral stands, point blank period. anyone can be in a abused relationship and the fact that we gotta reiterate that in fucking 2022 is really disgusting. feminism has never been about "women are god uwu" it's always been about equality and this discussion is just an appendage of that

I'm shocked that so many ppl on tumblr are pro Amber Heard. Are we not all watching the same trial here?? How she contradicts herself and lies over and over again?
You don't even have to pick a side and be pro Johnny but defending her is embarrassing. But sure go ahead and defend abuse.
They're so mad too that this trial is televised and that they keep seeing it everywhere, yet they keep talking about it and commenting on other posts about it. If you don't like smt, don't you just skip over it? Idk that's what I do but I guess not everyone does this.
Anyway all this to say that if you support Amber Heard, with all due disrespect, get the fuck off my blog. You're not welcome here, and I will block you.

It seems like there is no escaping the JD vs AH trial anywhere. All my socials are flooded with the trial. My fellow university students are talking about it. My internship colleagues are talking about it. Everyone has their own opinion on this case. Fair. We're entitled to. It's a sensational case about 2 celebrities who want to sue each other for defamation with the central theme of the case being domestic violence. It is being televised for the whole world to watch and lawtubers and lawyer influencers are milking the shit out of this case. Even meme pages get heavy engagement on the memes related to the case.
I watched the case proceedings multiple times to get an unbiased view on it. I must say that AHs lawyers seem under prepared for this case. Who's side am I on? Johnny Depp's. I do believe that the op-ed was written with malicious intent.
I might lose followers for this opinion but I wanted to voice it out. This case has shed light on male domestic violence. Whether the abuse was mutual or the relationship between AH and jD was toxic doesn't change the fact that he was also abused. Men can be abused too. At workplaces, among acquaintances, by their families, by their spouses. It is time that we helped them instead of mocking them for not being man enough.
Also, just because I am on his side, doesn't mean that I am okay with everything that is happening
1. Can we stop shipping him with his lawyer? They're real people. Not fictional characters. This affects their dynamics as business partners. He is her client. They might be good friends. But shipping them? Really? Isn't she spoken for? Would you like to read about your partner being shipped with someone they're working with?
2. Can we not involve either parties children into the picture? Johnny made it clear that he doesn't want his children involved with this. Why are people calling out his daughter for not openly supporting him? She could do so in private. Do I believe AH is getting death threats? Absolutely. Do I think someone threatened her baby? Yes. These children of both parties need to be separated from the issue. They're children and the issue is with their parents, not them. Keep the children out of this.
3. Hating on witnesses is not okay. They maybe terrible witnesses with terrible personality but it doesn't make it okay to direct an online mob at them. Did some of them commit perjury? Maybe. But that is for the court to decide. Taking the law into our own hands and subjecting someone to abuse over social media is unjust.
4. The same goes for lawyers, judge or jury. If the case doesn't favor your party's interest. Do not direct any hate to the parties involved. They did their job. Whether the decision was justified or not will be decided by AH or JD and they will file an appeal. We are supporting these figures and not fighting their battles for them.
You guys can argue all you want in the comments of this post but I truly believe that we've been acting like a lynch mob. For a case who's central theme circles around abuse, we sure as hell have no problem subjecting others to different types of abuse over social media.

Camille Vasquez was dressed in white like an angel delivering truth and justice for a falsely accused, innocent man that actually turned out to be the real victim of domestic violence at the hands of his ex-wife.
In closing and rebuttal argument, Camille revealed to the world the injustice that was maliciously planned and executed toward Johnny and she brought the evidence to prove and dismantle the hoax.
She defended Johnny Depp as he courageously spoke the truth of what he has been living through for six years+. He shared his pain with the world as several witnesses came to his aid to testify to his honesty.
Camille Vasquez, Benjamin Chew, all of Brown Rudnick, and all of the witnesses who showed up helped give Johnny his voice- though the courage came from within- and now that the truth is free and known, he can breathe again.

CV: Ms. Heard, you testified yesterday that all you want to do is move on, do you remember that?
AH: Yes, that's correct.
CV: But that's not true, is it, Ms. Heard? You just haven't been able to move on with your life, have you?
YA'LLLL, WHEN I SAY I SCREAMED-

fuck amber heard
i just wanna put my two cents about the depp vs heard case: JD is the VICTIM and Amber is an abusive, narcissistic psychopath who needs to lose all of her money and be locked up for the rest of her miserable fucking existence. i really hope that JD wins this case. it will be MONUMENTAL for male victims of abuse.
if anyone tries to defend amber heard you will be ignored and blocked. fuck amber heard and her narcissistic fans. look at the goddamn evidence.

Explaining why the UK verdict about Johnny Depp is meaningless in the face of the latest US court result
(Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer and this is not legal advice). So I've seen a number of the defenders of Amber Turd (even some big publications) bringing this up and waving it round and yelling about it as some kind of proof against Johnny Depp so I figured I'd break down how some of these big media companies putting out these pieces are wrong and the UK trial means next to nothing.
The first thing to establish are the differences:
The UK was Depp vs The Sun newspaper over a story one of their reporters wrote. The US case was Depp vs Heard over a piece put out in a newspaper with her name on it.
The US courts operate actually under a higher standard of proof for defamation than the UK courts. The US requires proof of damages which is very hard to prove normally while the UK court requires the part being sued prove their work wasn't damaging (which is why normally this isn't a defence tactic in UK courts as it's easier to prove others parts of it).
In the UK court case the result was based on the idea of due diligence and what a reasonable person would know and what could be reasonably be expected for a reporter to know or information a reporter could easily get hold on. In the UK case that meant a lot of Depp's evidence was useless because it was from private therapy recordings and call recordings and all kind of other similar stuff. Thus a reporter couldn't legitimately have been expected to have been aware of said things existing or got hold of them given basically no-one knew until they were brought up as evidence. However Amber Heard should have or would have known what she had said and what had really happened.
The UK court ruling was based on the idea of based on evidence that could have reasonably been obtained or known about that a reasonable person would draw the same conclusions. The thing about reasonable conclusions is they changed based on evidence out there. It would be great to pretend I'm right all the time but I'm not and I doubt many other people are especially as new evidence comes out. It might be reasonable to conclude your parcel may arrive on time as it normally does but it may not and the new evidence may be because there are now roadworks at the end of your road or on a major road to get to you so it will cause a delay.
In essence the UK court case was not based on the evidence Depp brought to court to clear his name. It was based on the evidence available to the journalist who wrote the piece at the time they wrote it.
The UK case is now meaningless because of the US court win which was against Heard herself and the knowledge heard would have had which would have been of the evidence Depp and his team were able to provide. Depp and his team in court proved vs a higher standard than the UK case that Heard had maliciously smeared him knowing that what was said no reasonable person would believe was true in the face of the evidence provided.
So when all these media articles bring up the UK case now. Well now you know it wasn't Depp vs Heard it was Depp vs a reporter who was never in the room or privy to the kind of things Depp was able to provide as evidence so that evidence was pointless and basically not useable.

Dr. Shannon Curry is so likeable. She is very educated in her field & it shows in her presentation. Her passion for psychology shines through with every description she gives of the process it took to arrive of her diagnoses of Amber Heard having Borderline Personality Disorder and Histrionic Disorder.
The detail of how she arrived at the revelation that Amber Heard was guilty of malingering and did not, in any way, suffer from PTSD as Heard had claimed she had was precise and supported by science.
The eloquence, kindness, transparency & empathy, regardless of Heard's behavior, shows the true nature of what a class act psychologist (and person) Dr. Shannon Curry is. She is the type of doctor that gives hope to the medical field & to all people suffering from Mental Illness.
