Emotions (pt. 11)

Billy Hargrove x reader

Summary: Billy tries to talk to y/n, but is stopped by everybody.

Word Count: 1202

Chapter 1 • Chp. Masterlist • Chapter 12

Billy had it planned out. He would see you in biology, and pull you out of class to apologize. He'd do his best to be his sweetest with you during class, and the two of you could sneak off to your spot on the bleachers before any girls could annoy him. He'd tell you how much you mean to him, and you could forgive him. Hopefully.

He looked in the mirror, and made sure his hair was perfect. He put on his faded red t-shirt and the leather jacket he knew you loved so much. He slipped on his skinny jeans and took a deep breath. He could do this. You loved each other, and the two of you were meant to be. Of course he could do this.

Before Billy went to school, he stopped by a liquor store and bought some hostess cupcakes for you. When he did get to school, he waited for what felt like an eternity for fourth period to come. When it did come, he sat in his seat and waited impatiently for you to walk through those doors.

Billy felt his heart sink when the bell rang and you still didn't come. Girls were trying to get close to him, but he snapped at them to back off. The bell rang again and the period ended, and Billy buried his face in his hands. Almost everyone was out of the classroom for lunch when he saw that one guy, your friend, walk into class and ask for the homework. "Hey!" Billy shot up and walked over to Jonathan. "You're one of y/n's friends."

"Um, yeah. Can I help you man?"

"She's not at school is she?" Jonathan shook his head, and Billy frustratedly ran his fingers through his hair. "How bad did I hurt her?"

"Pretty bad. She, um, feels like a monster right now."

Billy looked down and let out a huff. "Shit! It's all my fault." He then looked at Jonathan. "How did you react to all that?"

"Um, it was my mom who believed in it first." Jonathan explained. "I didn't believe her; I was convinced that my little brother had drowned and died. But a bunch of stuff happened and it was really scary, but then we got him back and we all thought El and Five were dead. We later found out that Hopper was taking care of them, and kept it a secret to protect them from the people who wanted them back in their lab. After I soaked it all in I just sort of felt really bad for Five and Eleven."

Billy nodded. "Do you think she'll forgive me?" He asked.

"I don't know man, maybe? I can actually tell you mean it, even though I don't really like you right now. No offense."

"I know. I deserve it."

"She'd probably tell you mean it too. You know she's the most understanding from her family. Which reminds me, I'd stay away from El if I were you."

"El? Why?"

"Y/n's the more understanding one, but El is the protective one."

Billy could hear the warning in his words. "What's El's powers?"

"She can move things with her mind." He said. "I can honestly understand your point from all of this, and it's nice to see you come around so quickly, but you're gonna have to go through everyone else if you wanna speak to her."

Billy nodded, and gave Jonathan the hostess cupcakes. "Give this to her for me. Please." And with that he walked out of the class.

After school Jonathan drove over to your house, giving you your homework. He checked to make sure Hopper wasn't looking before sitting on the bed and handing you the cupcakes.

"Billy told me to give these to you." You picked up the pack of cupcakes in silence, a small smile forming on your face. That smile slowly faded though. "He really does feel bad for how he acted."

You looked down. "He shouldn't be dragged back into my problems. It's not right. It's better this way."

Jonathan nodded and left. Hopper came into your room to check up on you. "Where'd you get the hostess?" He asked.

"Jonathan got them for me. He remembered." Your voice became quiet. He nodded contently and walked away. You opened the wrapper and ate the cupcakes slowly, thinking about Billy. You wondered if this would really be best for him.

The next morning Billy got up early and drove to your house. He knocked on the door, and Hopper answered. "You." Hopper said, wide eyed.

"Sir–"

"Wait right here." He slammed the door shut, coming back a second later with a bat, closing the door behind him. "Okay, now I'm ready!"

Billy backed up and stuck his hands out to avoid getting hit. "Sir, put the bat down. Just listen."

"I can use the bat to listen." He kept walking towards him.

"I–I'm sorry."

"You're damn right you are!"

"Sir, I'm still just 17."

"And I'm the sheriff!"

Hopper raised up his bat, but Billy quickly asked, "If you were me, how would've you reacted?!"

Hopper paused, and put the bat down slowly. He would've freaked out, and probably would've ran to Joyce. "Damnit kid, I don't know how you got me to like you, but I do."

Billy let out a sigh. "Can I see her?"

Hopper scratched the back of his head. "She doesn't wanna see you. She thinks it's better if she stays away from you. Says it's for your own good."

Billy shook his head. "No no no no, that's not true! It's fine, I don't care about whatever crap she has with her. I'm fine! Just please, let me see her."

Hopper sighed and nodded, turning around to see El glaring from the doorway. "Billy."

Hopper carefully walked over to her. "El, listen–" She had Hopper be pushed to the side of the porch, and kept him pinned there. "El!"

Billy was now scared. He thought about how it can be used the wrong way, but didn't actually expect it to be used like this. "Sunshine, please–"

"Mouth breather!" El screamed. The trees were beginning to shake roughly and, though nothing was there, Billy felt like he just got punched and fell to the ground.

"Eleven, I'm sorry!"

"You hurt my sister!" She stood right above of him.

"El, stop!" You yelled as you came out of the house.

She turned around and looked at you. "No! He's a bad guy! Mouth breather!"

"No he's not El! Stop it."

"No!" Eleven flung you back, put you quickly regained your footing.

"Calm down!" You screamed. She stumbled, feeling your power, but didn't back down. She kept pushing you against the house, but you still tried everything in your power to make her relax. "Calm down!"

Soon she collapsed, and you felt your body go limp.

When you woke up, you felt warm and cozy. You unconsciously snuggled into something that smelled really good.

"You're awake." Billy said. You immediately pushed him away and sat up. You stared at him, wide-eyed, and looked down in shame. "Don't tell me your shy again?" He teasingly asked.

"Why did you come here?" You asked quietly.

"To talk to you." He brushed some hair away from your face. "To say sorry."

"Don't. It's better for you if we keep are distance. You shouldn't be dragged into my problems, that's not fair on you."

"Shouldn't I decide that?" He got closer to you for a kiss, but you moved your face. This time there was no playful manner in doing so. "If you really think that you shouldn't be with anyone, then I guess I'll have to change your mind over time."

"Why are you making this harder?"

"If it feels hard, then it means you still have feelings for me." You kept your head low, and Billy reached over to kiss your cheek. "I'll see you at school tomorrow."

And with that he left. You laid back down and pushed your face into your pillow, wondering what to do.

Ali da bi se to desilo, potrebno je da te postupno uvedem u ovaj Gradec, baš kao što je to učinio Mišel Bitor u svom Rasporedu časova, uvodeći čitaoca korak po korak u svoj imaginarni Mančester (možeš misliti, to je knjiga koju trenutno prevodim!)

Prvi prizor koji mi se poturio ovde u Gracu, iste večeri pošto sam se iskrcao, bila je jedna starica, smeštena ispred parfimerije Orsay, koja nije prosila niti zabavljala publiku, nego joj je držala govor na čistom srpskom (sa hercegovačkim akcentom); uspeo sam da presretnem nekoliko reči koje, evo, prevodim za tvoje uši:

Hitlerovu vam krv prčim i jebem na lomači... Jebo vas Hitler sve, u šupak vas jebo!

(Je vous le baise bien, votre sang hitlérien, et je vous le baise encore sur un bûcher ! Allez le mettre, votre Hitler, dans le trou de cul, tous parmi vous!)

(Reći ću ti kako to zvuči na srpskom. Da sam ovo pročitao u knjizi, učinilo bi mi se smešno i preusiljeno! A ipak, upravo tako mi se ispostavilo u stvarnom životu: ona je čak izgovorila dva sinonima za baiser!)

Ukratko, u tom trenutku, moj dragi Arno, shvatio sam da sam kod kuće!

I to je bilo tek prvo pojavljivanje Domovine (Heimat). Pokazaće se da će se ukazati još nekoliko puta, i da će njena ukazivanja biti glavobolna a, bogme, i sablasna! Za mojih prvih nasumičnih šetnji (nasumičnih u meri u kojoj to dozvoljava urbanistički plan grada), u izlogu jednog antikvara blizu Jakominiplatza, primetio sam kartu Bosne iz 19. veka (u to vreme ju je bila zauzela Austrougarska imperija) i okolnih zemalja. Na njoj sam prepoznao grad Valjevo, gde sam živeo nekoliko godina pre polaska u školu (ovde se zove Valiova), Kragujevac (Krakoievaz) i Serraglio. Ovo na repu je Sarajevo.

Dobro je što smo već kod Sarajeva! Nekoliko dana kasnije, petnaestog, svratio sam u Volkshaus, salu u kojoj je lokalna komunistička partija (rekoše mi da su ozbiljni) organizovala Jugofeštu (takođe najavljenu na srpskom po plakatima).

Šta je tu bilo predviđeno? Da se tokom celog petnaestog juna održavaju koncerti folklornih grupa. Da se sve to zaliva pivom Puntigamer. A na samom kraju, tako je pisalo na plakatu, trebalo je da zasvira Zabranjeno pušenje. Nisi čuo za njih? Osamdesetih godina, ova grupa iz Sarajeva jedina je predstavljala pokret pod nazivom neoprimitivizam (sam vidi šta je to); njeni članovi su snimili najbolji jugoslovenski komično-satirični tevešou pod nazivom Top lista nadrealista (na sreću, nemaju nikakve veze sa Bretonom & Co.)

Kultna grupa, dakle, koja se trideset godina kasnije pojavljuje u Gracu, i to na fešti mladih štajerskih komunista. I kakav je bio koncert? E pa, najiskrenije, ne sećam se! Ili jedva: tek nekoliko taktova pesme Zenica blues (njihova presmešna replika na Folsom prison blues Džonija Keša; gledaj ih samo : kako skakuću razdragani) i još jedne: Šeki’s on the road again. Veći deo njihovog koncerta propustio sam jer sam kupovao pivo. Jedno pivo. Prvoj (plastičnoj) čaši Puntigamera trebalo je dobrih pola sata da se pretvori u gutljaj i tada sam shvatio da će biti jedina. Potom, smešten na stepenice na obodima Volkhausa, trebalo je da izbegavam dim. Kakav dim? Dim roštilja specijalno priređenih za ovu priliku. Tu se moglo napariti balkanskim specijalitetima, kao što su cevapcici, sarma, pleskavica, servirani, kao što i priliči, uz crni lukac. Ukratko, samo suvo meat is murder, sa malo kupusa, i to sve u lokalu pod nazivom Dolly Bell, po prvom filmu Emira Kusturice.

Bio sam, priznajem, prilično razočaran tim nostalgičnim spektaklom, koji je uz sve priredila neka komunistička partija. U svemu sam njušio ogromnu naivnost, posve sličnu onoj koja je navela Petera Handkea (po svim merilima mog voljenog pisca) da brani Slobodana Miloševića kao spasioca te iste Jugoslavije!

Teško je izbeći naivnost da se pokojna Jugoslavija proglasi Heimatom soft-komunizma, koji je uz sve to western-friendly, naročito u ovoj neolib. epohi, u kojoj se komunizam pretvara u komercijalnu marku (makar se to desilo na roštilju sa nazovi-sarajevskim ćevapčićima). Jestivi komunizam. Komunizam (R) (TM)

Ili je pak (možda sam ja naivan?!) ta parada Komunističke partije bila pronicljivost biznismena? Mora se reći da je te večeri kafe-ćevabdžijama dobro išlo!

No, uza sve rezerve, osećanje prepoznavanja doma se nastavilo, intenzivno, i naročito se pojačalo kada sam (evo nas, najzad smo tu) obišao buvljak.

Najveći buvljak u Gracu održava se u predgrađu Puntigam, odmah pored pivare Puntigamer. I prva knjiga koju sam zahvatio iz kartonske kutije i otvorio, ma ne, koju sam našao otvorenu, bila je šta misliš koja?

Prva stranica Na Drini ćuprije Iva Andrića, koju svi Jugosi znaju napamet. Dokaz? Evo ga.

Gospode, dragi Arno, život je počeo tek onda, kad su se ukazala predgrađa!

Treba reći da, zahvaljujući stipendiji lokalne institucije, raspolažem (ali samo na mesec dana) udobnim smeštajem u centru grada, na samom vrhu brda Šlozberg, na koje bi svi da se popnu, i da plate 1.60 evra da bi to izveli, pred čijim prizorom je jedna Bosanka, evo pre koji sat, rekla svom momku: Prvo pa muško! Da ti prevedem? Prvo mesto koje mi pokazuješ, i ispostavlja se da je Bingo! E pa evo ga taj Bingo.

Ovo mora da je najpoznatiji prizor iz Graca. Gračanima je sigurno dojadio. E pa i meni je! Ne želeći da ispadnem nezahvalan prema lokalnoj instituciji koja me smatra piscem (vidiš ti to?) ipak sam nervozno čekao tu subotu, žurilo mi se da za sobom ostavim sve te luksuzne fasade, svu tu blink-blink raskoš namenjenu turističkim očima (primetio sam da neprekidno zamišljam njene kulise i lagume) i otrčim u blaženu periferiju, u sumnjive četvrti, među popucale kolovoze i trotoare, u sve što nije načinjeno za oko onoga ko samo prolazi, nego za telo onoga ko će tu i ostati, za rezidenta, upravo, a to sam i ja, zar ne, barem do početka meseca jula, pisac-rezident, a ne pisac-turista! Dakle, i ja zaslužujem da se tamo nađem! Ne samo u centru!

Pa sam ti tako požurio u Puntigam te subote ujutru (pre devet sati) tramvajem broj pet sa Šlozbergplaca. Ispred jednog Cineplexxa (ne, ovaj sigurno ne pušta porniće; u epohi smo u kojoj duplo X znači LUX), stotinak prodavaca je već razvuklo svoje zavežljaje.

I upravo kako me je Luiza G., organizatorka rezidencije, toplo upozorila: u Puntigamu je bilo Srba. Puno. Jugoslovena, Jugosa, Južnjaka uopšte. Kao na mom rođenom buvljaku (da li bih mogao reći rođenom? mogao bih!) na Zemunu! Obilazio sam stazice pored Cineplexxa u svim pravcima, hoću reći, te bulevare između prostirki, slušajući muziku akcenata koji su uglavnom bili bosanski ili dalmatinski, sa ponekim slovenačkim razvlačenjem.

Za tebe izdvajam ovu kratku razmenu između prodavca i mušterije koji je sa njegovog zavežljaja dohvatio nekakva klešta:

Jesi našo nešta? Ja ! Ta ti je odlična, zube da izvadiš!

(T’as trouvé quelque chose ! / Ouais ! / Celles-là, elles sont excellentes même pour t’arracher les dents!)

Gle! Još jedna Marksova sablast u kutiji! Ali vratimo se našim stvarima, hoću reći, pločama. O tom prvom obilasku Puntigama, svačega sam video i čuo, ali nije bilo bogzna čega da se kupi. Bila je jednostavno slaba subota. I vratio bih se praznih i žalosnih ruku da jedan Jugos nije iskrsnuo iz tla sa dve kutije pune ploča.

Kada sam iz njih iskopao Harvest Nila Janga, među brojnim nemačkim LP-jima (koji su svi glanc!) nisam se, šta misliš, obratio gazdi na srpskom. A ne! Neka me od toga Bog čuva izvan Eks-ju! Postavio sam pitanje koje sam naučio napamet nekoliko meseci pre polaska u Grac: Was kosten die Platten? Šta mi je odgovoreno? Ein Euro. Bez diskusije! Bolje nego u Srbiji! (Na fotki koja sledi, videćeš ploču zajedno sa diskom Pearl Jam iz devedesetih, Vitalogy, albumom koji sam okvalifikovao kao “mlađeg brata Harvest”)

Poređenja radi, dva Plattenladen u Gracu koje sam već obišao pre Puntigama prodavale su polovne ploče za minimum 10 eura. One koje su nudili za 3 ili 5 nisu zaista vredele ništa; među njima sam video jednog Mekartnija i doslednog ga zaobišao.

Ali u Dux Records u kvartu Lend, preko Mure, našao sam izvanrednu ploču: prvo sovjetsko izdanje ranih singlova Rolling Stones. Naslov? Bilingvalan! Игра с огнем/ Play with fire.

Pokazao sam ploču komšiji iz Gruzije, Zvijadu: samo što se nije rasplakao pred omotom. Dva litra vina kasnije zamolio me je da je sklonim. Mora da ga je podsetila na mladost. Ploča je u SSSR objavljena 1989.

Ne bih je, što se mene tiče, nikad uzeo da sam već imao Play with fire na nekoj od šest-sedam Rolling Stones ploča koje već imam; Play with fire je, ako mene pitaš, njihova daleko najbolja pesma. U jednoj drugoj prodavnici ploča, aluzivnog imena, Inandout Records, iskopao sam treći album Stranglersa, Black and white, gde se nalazi moja omiljena pesma te grupe, Nice’n’Sleazy.

Znači, deset evra nisu ništa za rezidenta Graca, kad je reč o pločama. A šta je s novim pločama, još u ambalaži? One staju maksimum 20-25 eura. Setio sam se još jednom onog prodavca iz Beograda, Jugovinil, kod koga nove ploče nema ispod 35 eura. Njegova radnja se nalazi u nedavno džentrifikovanoj ex-pivnici pretvorenoj u kafe-kvart u Cetinjskoj ulici, koja je dakle u potpunosti prilagođena džepu te posh omladine, koja može da ih priušti i da si ih nabije na... Instagram.

(Naravno, gazdu Jugovinila sreo sam više puta na Zemunskom buvljaku, izjutra, pre sedam, kako kupuje ploče za maksimum 1 EUR, da bi ih preprodao za basnoslovne cene, brez poreza!)

Vratimo se u Grac (koji, kao što smo rekli, nije toliko drugde!). Nedelju dana kasnije, 22. juna, u peticu sam ušao ranije, malo smirenije. U tramvaju se nalazio natpis na slovenačkom: Danas velja vsaka vozovnica kot dnevna karta do 24 H. “Danas će svaka karta za prevoz važiti kao dnevna karta, do 24 sata”.

A zbog čega? Jer je tog dana, što ću kasnije saznati, bio održan Prajd.

I to, ispostaviće se, Prajd bez oružane pratnje, što je ipak balkanski začin! No, ovog puta, Puntigam je bio pun ko oko! Jedan Slovenac je prodavao ploče koj vidiš ovde kako listam. Koliko koštaju? Pitam na nemačkom. Zašto nisam progovorio slovenački? Uvek sam želeo, moj dragi Arno, da se šetkam kroz neko mesto na kojem svi govore mojim jezikom ne znajući da ga razumem. Slovenac je pak bio prefinjeniji nego Jugos od pre nedelju dana.

“Svaka ploča ima svoju cenu!” “Beatles 1967/1970?” “20 eura” “Come Together single?” “10 euros” Okej, evo ga još jedan Beatles fan! “Talking Heads, Little creatures?” “6″. “Danke”.

Mnogo sam očekivao, dragi moj Arno, u tome je problem. Austrija je ipak Balkancima najbliža kapitalistička zemlja. U osamdesetim godinama, koje cenim koliko i ti, zamišljao sam kako dobar broj Austrijanaca u svojim kolekcijama drži albume i singlove Television, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Gun Club, Siouxsie and the Banshees, i tako dalje, pa čak i u devedesetim godinama, kada je bolest kompakt diska već zavladala.

Ali izvan fasade Dux Records, na kojoj je reprodukovan motiv sa albuma Goo Sonik Juta, izuzev nekoliko uobičajenih gluposti iz tih godina koje se mogu i u Beogradu naći, ispostavilo se da su naši respektivni buvljaci iz tog ugla sasvim savremeni: njihove ploče takođe potiču većinom iz šezdesetih i sedamdesetih, ima i osamdesetih, ali ono progresivnije krilo koje ti spominjem, sva je prilika, nije se preštampavalo.

Dakle, tog 22. juna, dan nakon letnjeg solsticija, dan nakon šetnje Kleo od pet do sedam u filmu Anjes Varda, zastajem ispred nekoliko kutija sa pločama. Jugoslovenka prodaje. Pitam je na svom niže-nemačkom. Ona mi odgovara dugo i zamršeno, ne uspevam da uhvatim ni reč, Arno, pa ipak klimam pre nego što postavim potpitanje Für eine Stücke? (A po komadu?), na šta mi ona odgovori: Drei euro.

Bacim se na posao i iskopam soundtrack za jedan od najkemp filmova svih vremena, My Fair lady (znam da je možda u poslednje vreme postao hip, ali to je ipak mjuzikl, a meni je, kao što je slučaj sa Kosom, draga samo treklista!) U sebi otpevam Show me! kažem Danke i nastavim da hodam ništa ne uzevši.

I tada sretnem Adu Kobusjevic. (Ako ti dosad nisam rekao ništa o njoj, to je samo zato što sam hteo da je ti sretneš čitajući!) Ada je vizuelna umetnica koja takođe snima filmove i trenutno ima izložbu u pešačkom tunelu ispod Šlozberga, pod nazivom Illusion, zasnovanu na efektima svetlosti i boje. Nekoliko godina je živela u Srbiji; imao sam priliku da vidim njene fotke sa novosadskog buvljaka Najlona. Pokazaću ti u Arlu tu seriju fotki iz 2014. koju je Ada nazvala Fleeting Installation (2014).

Srećem, dakle, Adu koja mi kaže da je nabavila neku odeću. Za koliko? Za 10 centi po komadu! Pazi to! Počne kiša. Odmah otrčim do Jugoslovenke, pitam da li bih My Fair lady mogao da dobijem za 2 evra, a kod Slovenca, da li bih Talking Heads mogao iskamčiti za pet. Kiša se pojača. Moja balkanska cena je smesta prihvaćena. Kad sam stigao kući (odakle? od kuće? uvek sam kod kuće! Why on earth are you there when you're everywhere?) otkrivam da je album Talking Heads objavio Jugoton, najveći proizvođač gramofonskih ploča u Jugoslaviji (Zagreb).

Ada me onda uvede u unutrašnjost tog famoznog Cineplexxa. I to najpre da bismo se sklonili sa kiše. Prethodne nedelje nije mi ni padalo na pamet da zavirim u tu garažu, ali pokazalo se da je još bogatije nego što sam zamišljao, nego ono što se videlo napolju. To su ta predgrađa, sve je u undergroundu! (u ovom trenutku se na mene zaleteo pas komšinice Kinge i upoznao me!)

Unutra, psujući što pri sebi nemam dodatni ceger, primećujem da pijem kafu mit zunehmen, po prvi put na buvljaku. Kako to? Pa jednostavno, imaju klupe gde se može sesti, gde se čak može istrpeti kiša. Je li dakle tako jednostavno biti poslužen? Jeste, pa i hodati s kafom, staviti plastičnu čašu svaki put pored kutije pune ploča ili knjiga i potom je pronaći netaknutu. A onda se odmoriti na jednoj od tih klupa čekajući Adu i gledajući jednog zadovoljnog Kineza koji je pribavio ventilator. Probaj!

A onda, ponovo pod Adinim vođstvom, odlazim u specijalnu pekaru koja prodaje samo hleb od juče. Ali nije to bäckerei kao bilo koji, Arno, ovde, u centru grada, u Lendu, u Mariahilferstrasse, pekara je morala da postane concept-store, izlog će ti reći sve!

Dakle, u trenutku kad sam počinjao da ti pišem ovo pismo koje je sada, napokon, pri kraju, bio sam u Sackstrasse, gde je, tačno u 17č40, žuti kombi zastao nasred ulice. Iz njega je izašao službenik sa narandžastom gajbom. Približio se velikom žutom sandučetu preko puta, poturio gajbicu pod njega, i pošto mu je otključao dno, bučno istresao gomilu pisama.

Ovo pismo će ti doduše stići malo brže nego ta koja je skupljao poštar, ali nadam se da mi nećeš zameriti! Ipak ti pišem iz HEIMATA!!! Pisaću ti uskoro opet, naročito ako iskopam nekog italijanskog pevača ili pisca za tvoje uši.

P S Što se alkohola tiče... crveno vino, kao što možeš da zamisliš, nije bogzna šta. Bela vina? To je bolje. Kad čovek izbliza pogleda njihova piva, ima razloga za više optimizma nego u Francuskoj. Definitivno sam postao fan Gössera, ipak sam Puntigamer čekao predugo u roštiljskom dimu! Neka čekanja ubiju neke žeđi! Preneću nekioliko limenki krišom preko granice i stući ćemo ih zajedno u avgustu u Arlu.

Let’s talk about OC moms today!

Alyssa Brink: Mother of Alex. She has long brown hair and blue eyes. She’s a very bubbly person with a very nurturing nature. She has a degree Wildlife Veterinary Medicine but specializes in the treatment and care of Wolves. She met Theodore Brink in college and followed him to his family refuge wanting to make a difference in the preservation of all species of Canis Lupus. She’s always tried to dress up Alex in girly things and have her grow out her hair, but her little wolf girl was a tomboy much to her dismay. She is currently traveling the states helping other Wolf Refuges to become as successful as their own.

Luna Brink: Mother of Claire. She is an Aussie-German Shepherd Mix who was adopted by the Brinks. Her personality is kind but wary due to her years as a stray. She travels with Alex’s parents playing foster mom for the wolf pups of different refuges. She knows that Claire has changed. Luna noticed that Claire speaks more human than canine, but she still loves her daughter very much, even if her behaviors are a bit confusing.

Roxie: Mother of Clyde. She is a German shepherd stray who was abandoned by her family once she became too big to take care off. She’s a sweet dog but has grown skittish after years on the streets. Roxie met a Rottweiler stray while in heat and became pregnant. She had a litter of 4 pups one being Clyde. Not much is known about Roxie’s current state or whereabouts.

Anka Kaminski: Mother of Jula. Anka is very traditional woman. Girls should work to become wives. Should marry young and have many children like she did. When Jula gained the interest of a wealthy man’s son, she pushed him onto Jula with ease. She wanted to raise her status and wealth at the expense of her own daughter’s happiness. When Jula came home from the failed date with a nearly shaven head she banished her from the home. She is still in Poland, unconcerned about her daughter’s whereabouts.

Grace Fields: Mother of Chelsea. She has blue eyes and dirty blond hair usually tied back in a ponytail. She has a bold personality with the ability to easily match wits with anyone. During her day job she is a realtor of work and building spaces. However when there is trouble she becomes Invisa-Belle. She is a meta-human with the powers of Invisibility and Telekinesis. She is very supportive of Chelsea’s goals to try everything.

[Introduce of Album]

A long-awaited new album woven by Cheng Bi, titled “Early Born Cricket,” has finally been released in autumn 2016 across China and in Taiwan. Featuring expressive techniques new to her, such as unaccompanied singing and poetry reading, this album will no doubt become one of her representative works as she is taking a significant turn as an artist.

Now it has been four years since the release of her self-produced first album “Anna’s Patio” in 2012, you can really feel her growth as an artist over those years once you listen to her latest album.

She translated poems written by Misuzu Kaneko, a Japanese female poet who died young, on her own for the new album, in which she revived them as her own “songs” from beginning to end. The album is the culmination of her music into which her “words” have been sublimated beyond cultural differences since she learned Japanese culture at Peking University.

The music of Cheng Bi might always look ahead to the future beyond the ocean.

程璧（Cheng Bi）诠释出的倍受期待的最新专集《早生的铃虫》（Early born cricket），终于在2016年之秋，在中国大陆和台湾予以发布。

具有清唱以及朗诵等崭新表现手法的此专集，毋庸置疑是她作为艺术家迎来巨大转变期的代表作之一。

回想起岁月匆匆，2012年独立制作的首张专辑《ANNA’S PATIO(晴日共剪窗 )》发布至今已经历4年岁月，聆听到此张新专集，能够切实感受到她作为艺术家的夯实成长。

在此专集中，她独自翻译了英年早逝的日本女诗人金子美铃（Kaneko Misuzu）的诗作，在专集全编里充分体现出独自的“演唱”。曾在北京大学学习日本文化的她，将超越文化的“语言”作为音乐而升华，成为集大成之作。

程璧（Cheng Bi）的音乐，也许始终都是跨越海洋、眺望着未来。
