HEY!! actually wrote these all out u can tell where i started going off of mostly appearance for these because i only really know a few qsmp characters help obviously not everyone but uhm. swagever (sorry for sending it to inbox it was too big to fit in the comments on that other post)

Tubbo: Groyvle (Frozen in time/Time related things. Looks like how I imagine her, I like the idea of him not being a fully evolved mon I think it oddly fits her)

Spreen: Hisuian Typhloshion!!!!! (Guy who is like darker colors and the ghost typing is such a cool like. hint towards his tragic fate of fucking dying. Plus works well with Fit and Ramon being normal types)

DanTDM: Shiny Sceptile (works mostly with my specific QSMP dragon lore but TLDR is that Tubbo and Dan are really similar genetics wise and look almost identical, but Dan's fully evolved while Tubbo hasn't really mastered it yet hence. Shiny Sceptile (which is more blue so its fitting)

Bad: Yveltal (Death vulture thing, Dark Type, God-related status, Immortal)

Jaiden: I know the obvious choice is like Chatot but. I like to think she'd be an Archeops I feel like she'd be a raptor of some kind and Archeops is like both that and a parrot it feels made for her…. SHE'D HAVE HER NORMAL COLORS THOUGH I THINK

Pac: Shiny Dusk Form Lycanrock: I like to think Q!Pac is some kind of shiba hybrid so he's GOTTA be a dog and Shiny Dusk Lycanrock is the EXACT colors

Fit: Ursaring because like. Look at it that's just him

Cellbit: Meowscarada this is another appearance based one but I REALLYYY like Meowscarada Cellbit its fun to me.

Baghera: KILOWATTRELLLLLL i dont think any of the ducks fit her and I fucking LOVEEEE kilowattrel i think it's a really fun choice for her

Roier: Midnight Lycanrock I like to think Roier is an African Wild Dog and I think it makes this guy fit him! Plus he's red and emo which is fitting i think

Foolish: Palafin! I don't wanna give him Sharpedo because i think it'd be a bit too silly, and Garchomp is for Leo, so Palafin!! Works well with me imagining him as a Sawshark anyways…

Phil: Honchkrow. IT LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE HIMMM ITS SUCH A GOOD MON FOR HIM hes not corviknight because thats my c!phil headcanon plus i feel like q!phil's less intimidating

Missa: Alolan Marowak i know next to nothing about this guy but. dude's an alolan marowak

Cucurucho: BLOOD MOON URSALUNA THIS FUCKERS SUCH A URSALUNA its a big intimidating bear that's face is mostly obscured and doesn't really display much emotion raaaagh its so fitting

Fred: Beartic because blue polar bear but GOD i love ur pangoro idea thats so fun

Sunny: Cosmog because i loveeee the idea that shes gonna turn into a solgaleo its so funny to me. groyvle dad with a metal sun lion god following him around PLUS COSMOG FITS HER IN LIKE A LOVING SPARKLY THINGS WAY… made of stars

Dapper: Zweilous (I think a lot of the eggs have evolved atp) Fits bad's dark typing! Little guy!!! Little guy with no eyes!!!!

Ramon: Drampa. Mustache dragon thanggggggggg also the idea of this baby dragon being a grampa is really funny

Pomme: DIPPLINNNNNN make that girl into a hydrapple to match dapper becoming a hydreigon eventually. the hydra sisters :fire: ALSO DIPPLIN IS REALLY CUTE i dont particularly care for flapple and appletun feels too like. lazy? for pomme? idk

Richas: Craniados!!!!!! The way people draw Richas reminds me SOOOO much of a pachycephalosaur so I gave him the pachycephalosaur pokemom!!!

Chayanne: FRAXUREEEE haxorus is SUCHHH a chay pokemon to me i think its the yellow. i like to think he's the first to evolve due to being the oldest :3

Tallulah: Swablu: I've always associated the altaria line with music and Tallulah with music so!!!!!

Flippa: Goomy. u'll never fucking guess why

Leo: GABITEEEEEE its a shark dragon its MADEEEE for her honestly

Bobby: Bagon because I feel like it mirrors Jaiden's whole thing with flying in a really sad way

I FUCKING LOVE THEESE. God I love pokemon aus so much they're so fun. And sw on the just appearance ones because they work too. Pac and sunny are probably my favorites from this list

I really feel like we don’t talk about this video enough at all and that’s such a crime.

(Also I just really love the visuals and sound in this entire scene)

I love how for the most part it feels exactly like and other Jaiden nuzlocke Pokémon are caught and lost, gym badges and hard fights are won, you know the drill. But right as she goes to the distortion world everything about the video kinda briefly flips on its head and only when she exits the distortion world to move onto the next gym does that seriousness break (and mind you very jarringly as well)

So after that we once again continue on with the gym stuff and what not keeping the same fun light hearted silly tone which is fun but once again we see that tone very jarring shift into something very much unsettling with the cutting out of the music as well as the glitching effects and sounds made right as she steps up onto the plate.

From this point on even if the music has somewhat returned we keep getting flashes from the first elite four try which even when spirits in the actal fight are high and going well still leaves a very much unsettling wrongness to the whole set of battles.

So now after the four she arrives at the final battle and what’s so cool here is this entire battle nearly ends how the first try did, in failure. And hell it really does look like it will go down like that up until her garchomp manages to out speed the thing.

And so yeah the battle in the end is won but the real kicker here is the end where Jaiden starts talking about how the victory really isn’t a true victory because “the world in living in now is how I want things to be.” And how that other Jaiden the one who lost is as much her as she is and that she will never be able to accept the ending because she doesn’t really know if it was the ending for her.

This video is so cool and fun and if you haven’t watched it you really should both for the story but also the visuals.

I can explain some of my choices if anyone would like!

Small detail for Zoroark Bad:

Dapper tends to rest in Bad's hair (like Zorua does in the movie Zoroark: Master of illusion) when he 'voids' and the other kids have started to as well (Richarlyson and Pomme mainly as they hang out with Bad most) which he's happy to let them. The problems only start when more than 3 kids want to sit in his hair at once, no matter how many they are.

I am having SO MUCH fun trying to give everybody at least two pokemon for the newsies AU and I was so so tempted to give Crutchie Actual God (Arceus) but resisted for lore reasons. so now I'm trying to find another op 'mon to give him because it is what he deserves <3 (i will not give crutchie mewtwo i will not give crutchie mewtwo (same reasons at Actual God (thank you, jaiden animations for calling Arceus that bc i will never stop)))

Also Spot gets a garchomp (dragon & steel type), a lucario (fighting & steel type), and a minun (electric type) :)

(please please look those up in the order I listed them because you need the whiplash of garchomp and lucario before looking at a minun. I chose minun for it's last resort move, which I felt fit in well) - Voidling Anon

dw voidling i gotchu. my pokemon days has almost like every pokemon pre-sun and moon burned into my brain. that being said it only was got funnier when i went to grab the photos to have it laid out on my screen in front of me....

Bro….. the Cynthia fight was so stressful, so buckle in!!!

So she led with spiritomb and I had Lantana (roserade) use dazzling gleam a couple of times and that was that.

Then she threw out milotic…….. I had Koops (torterra) out front for that type advantage, but little did I know (cause I didn’t bother to check or do my research) that her milotic had ice beam. So that nearly killed Koops, and I was at a loss for what to do. I needed Koops to take care of her gastrodon and to possibly tank her garchomp as well. It was possible to MAYBE get off another giga drain only if Koops didn’t get hit with ice beam again… I debated throwing Jaiden (gastrodon) out or even Robo-Daniel (bronzong) as death fodder, but it seemed like literally no one would be able to survive this milotic even if I healed up Koops I was sure he’d die. I was resigned for my run to be over because Koops was the backbone of my whole plan. So I kept him out thinking well at least I’ll get a free switch in if he dies. I clicked on giga drain and then waited…. And Koops DODGED the ice beam!!!! Through the power of friendship, Koops dodged and got off his giga drain and that was IT for Cynthia’s milotic!!!!!

Then she threw out Roserade, so I sent Leech (crobat) out and healed up everyone in the back of my team. She barely got hurt, and then when I was ready she took down the roserade with one pluck.

After that was Gastrodon. Now that I had Koops healed back up I sent him out and he one shot her gastrodon with another giga drain.

Then she sent out her Lucario. I kept Koops out for that and ended him with a single earthquake.

Finally I reached Cynthia’s Garchomp. At this point I still had a full team and a strategy to win. I sent Lantana out front first to get off a dazzling gleam or two, which she did. The first round garchomp did dragon dance which was worrisome, but Lantana was faster, so I tried for another dazzling gleam. It did not kill, and her garchomp got Lantana to less than half health. At that point I knew Lantana was going to be death fodder. She’d served her purpose and served it well, so rather than do another dazzling gleam and get Cynthia’s garchomp in the red (knowing that she’d just heal him up) I used leech seed for that chip damage. I figured that was the end of Lantana, but Cynthia’s next attack missed due to friendship once again!!!!

I was shocked, Lantana was supposed to die there. I don’t exactly remember what happened (between the fight and writing this i had to take my dog to obedience class lmao) something happened where Lantana got hit but hung in there AGAIN! So I think I tried for a dazzling gleam but her garchomp was faster (due to dragon dance) and Lantana died. It was a planned death, but it was surprising how she hung in there!

The garchomp was in the yellow and I knew John (machoke) was slow as hell, but if he survived the next attack he’d win with dual chop. ……….. he died.

So then I sent out Koops, and as predicted, he tanked the rest of the fight, and we won!

I lost John and Lantana, one planned death, one unfortunate not strategic death, but we won.

Koops, Jaiden, Robo-Daniel, and Leech made it into the Hall of Fame, and I won my first ever nuzlocke!!!

Can’t wait to do one for Pokémon Shield!! Lol!

Alright!!! The time has finally come!

It’s time for me to face the Elite Four and Cynthia, so here’s my final team. I wanted them all to be at least level 66 since that’s the level of Cynthia’s highest level pokemon (garchomp). It’s do or die time.

My plan is to primarily use Leech (pluck) for Aaron, Jaiden for Bertha, Jaiden for at least half of Flint’s team and then John for his lopunny and and Koops (crunch) for his drifblim, then use Robo-Daniel for Lucien’s Mr. Mime and Koops for the rest.

Then there’s Cynthia. Should I actually get to her I have Lantana using dazzling gleam for her spiritomb, Leech for her roserade, Koops for her gastrodon, Jaiden or Koops for her lucario, Koops for her milotic, and then Lantana and possibly John (dual chop) for her garchomp.

I have it all planned out, but you can never really know how it’ll all play out. I may very well lose here, but it was a fun journey nonetheless!
