If joey gave duke a gift what would it be
me and @xbruisepartyx talked about this a lot but i think joey would sort of stress about stuff like this at first, thinking he needs to get otogi something flashy and expensive. but honestly otogi would probably appreciate the smaller things that come from the heart too. something full of love like hand crafted jewelry or dice. flashy is nice too tho LOL
we talked about him making him a necklace that doubles as a perfume/oil well for expsneive colognes and perfumes (jou is crafty but, i can see him getting frustrated and stuck on something like this and going to his bestie honda for help, bc hes the ultimate handy man)

here are the rings I wear, which I promised @allthestoriescantbelies I would post yesterday. Call me vain, but I wanted to wait until I repainted my nails, and call me lazy, but I simply couldn’t be bothered painting them yesterday… enjoy/sorry about my crooked fingers.
Anyway! Most of the jewellery I wear have been gifts. My friend makes fun of me for having a gold hand and a silver hand but I’ve always differentiated. I also wish I could say I don’t wear them all most days but I do, because I love lots of little details.
On my left hand, the pearl ring was my grandmother’s and I love it so much - it’s so elegant and simple. The Art Deco-style ring next to it is moonstone, and given to me by my mother one Christmas with a matching necklace. On my right, there’s a Claddagh ring I wear on my pointer which was a gift from my grandfather to my grandmother when they lived in England. On their anniversary they were in Florence and my grandfather got it engraved with their initials (that’s the ‘A&M’ you can see). My grandmother has arthritis bad enough that she can’t wear rings anymore so she’s distributed them across the granddaughters. On my middle finger is my beautiful beautiful opal ring which I gifted myself. It’s a tiny little stone and has so many colours in it - you can see the flash of red here, there’s also a strong blaze of green that almost hypnotises me sometimes… so pretty. And the two pearl ring on my wedding finger (lol) was a gift from one of my mum’s best friends, she got it for herself but decided it didn’t suit her. As a bonus you can also see my bracelet made of spoons 🥄

still so strange to me that a lot of older fashion shows love of wearing such vibrant color and intricate pattern and some point along the way most people just. default to a shirt and jeans...

Contemplating if I should buy a new pair of casual sneakers for wearing everyday since my current Adidas Superstars are 4 years old and stained/torn. But then again Winter is approaching and I'll be switching to my winter boots anyway, so I won't need a new pair of casual sneakers until March/April next year when I could possibly invest in them.
For now, I'll just throw them into the washing machine (gentle cycle ofc) because other than the stains and tears on the outside material they feel pretty alright and I'm on, what I like to call, a saving spree this year.
