Friend posted a fanscrybe post. And it reminded me that I never posted mine to Tumblr, so here he is!

None of his cards technically cost anything to place, but most will require fuel to function.

Fuel is a resource you spend to turn on machines, (or, with certain machines, keep them turned on, more on that later). You use 1 fuel by clicking on a machine that requires it, some machines require more than 1 steam, but you don't need to pay for the whole thing at once.

Your side deck is comprised of fuel-bearing workers, who provide 1 fuel after perishing. If a machine requiring fuel is on the board, than they will perish at the end of your turn, and the fuel will go directly to that machine

Machines with the "Windup" sigil will only last a few turns before turning back off, but you can reset their countdown by providing them with fuel. (There might be multiple tiers of this sigil with escalating lengths of time before shutting down. )

Cards with the "Turbine" sigil will generate fuel upon being hit, and cards with the "coal miner" sigil will generate fuel if they're powered.

The more of your cards die, the more money you earn at the end of the battle.

These are the only two cards I ever finished designing. There was also one I had planned, an equivalent to the Magpie that'd be a jester called "Lucky Luke"
