Chapter 1: The Holly Trinity

In the dawn of the cosmos, the firmament shimmered with the light of divine beings who dwelled in the heavens, their boredom with the monotony of their existence triggering the creation and expansion of the universe as we now know it. Among the heights stood three angels, Sera, Carmilla, and Lucifer, christened by their father as the "Holy Trinity." The three played vital roles, ensuring the proper functioning of both heaven and the universe they were forging.

Sera, with her celestial majesty, was God's first attempt at creating woman. Tall, slender, with eyes capable of reflecting the vastness of the universe, she was a work of art in herself. However, despite her impeccable appearance, she wasn't quite what God was looking for. Sera lacked the capacity to understand and share joys and sorrows, empathy, to be a companion in all aspects of existence. Sera was too distant, too perfect, to fulfill God's purpose. With great sadness, but also with much love, the Father of All decided to appoint her as his delegate, giving her a different purpose than she was originally intended for. She would make his wishes come true, also reducing the workload on her shoulders.

On the fifth day of creation, after bringing life to the creatures of the animal kingdom in the morning, God retired to his workshop with a handful of swan feathers, the eyes of a lynx, and the heart of a lioness. With infinite patience and meticulous dedication, he began assembling these elements one by one, shaping them with his divine power to form a new creation: Carmilla. This angel emerged as a unique and exceptional creation in her own essence. Although she shared certain traits with Sera, she possessed a great capacity to love, and to hate at the same time. That's why he bestowed upon her the gift of creating life.

"Where art I?" she asked fearfully.

"This is my workshop, and thou art my creation," God replied, helping her to her delicate feet. "Thou canst call me Father."

"Father?" The angel observed her wings flutter, analyzed her silver hair, and saw her fingers move in front of her eyes. "What am I exactly?"

"Thou art an angel, my dear. Thou art my vineyard, my garden, my Carmilla." He then helped her walk, fascinated by her elegance. "Come, I want to introduce thee to someone."

God, captivated by what he had created and not wanting to part from her, placed Carmilla alongside Sera to be her support. However, mere hours later, the difference between Sera's serenity and Carmilla's burning passion triggered a latent conflict between them. One, believing herself superior just for being older, wanted to impose her will, while the second was unwilling to obey without a true reason. God chose not to punish them and took another route, deciding to give birth to a new angel, one whose beauty and power would rival even the heavens themselves: Lucifer. He was a free-spirited and dreamy spirit, destined to maintain peace among his sisters, though not among the other angels. While there were those who admired him fervently, like Araziel, there were others who despised him, such as Michael.

God, calm to see that the most important work was done, delegated to Sera and the elders of heaven the task of finishing his great project. With the very dust of the earth, the Elders of Heaven created Adam and Lilith, based on the sketches provided by the King. These new beings, meticulously crafted with love, were presented as the supreme culmination of creation. Adam, molded in the image and likeness of the gods, was imbued with wisdom and strength, while Lilith, equally magnificent, possessed beauty and unparalleled skill. All felt they had fulfilled the expectations of their Lord, but it wasn't long before Lilith decided not to submit to Adam and escaped from Eden. With indomitable determination, she defied the expectations imposed upon her and sought the freedom she fervently desired. Her act of rebellion shook the foundations of paradise and unleashed a conflict that would resonate throughout heaven and earth.

"Dad's design failed," Sera said as the three siblings gathered in the great hall weeks after the event. "She was supposed to stay with Adam. I don't understand."

"Adam is an idiot, who would want to be with him?" Carmilla opined honestly. "He hath no right to rule over her, no one should."

"I agree, Sera," Lucifer intervened with a understanding smile. "After all, love and free will are the foundations of our existence here in heaven."

"But not on earth, brother. Humans are too simple to know what to do with it, and that's why we've set rules," Sera said, looking at herself in the mirror, determined to do what she considered to be God's word. "Lucifer, go for Lilith and bring her back to Eden. She must fulfill her role as the mother of humanity."

"Sera, art thou sure that's the right thing to do?" Lucifer questioned with a doubtful expression on his face as he received the order from his older sister.

"'Tis necessary, or else Dad's dream will be shattered," Sera replied firmly, her voice resonating in the celestial hall.

It was at that precise moment when Lucifer descended into the underworld, finding in Lilith an echo of the passion and rebellion that he so admired in Carmilla. Fascinated by Lilith's freedom and determination, Lucifer was carried away by his feelings, becoming irretrievably attached to that woman of indomitable spirit. Sera, perceiving this as an act of impersonal irreverence, decided to take drastic measures. She took the sketch discarded by her father and created Eve, a figure that reflected her own serenity and obedience. Eve was the embodiment of everything Sera considered right and virtuous, destined to be the perfect counterpart to Lilith. She never imagined it would backfire.

United in their desire to share this emotion, Lucifer and Lilith sought to offer the fruit of knowledge to Adam's new wife, Eve, without understanding the consequences of their actions. In their attempt to open her eyes to the world beyond blind submission, they allowed evil to spread its roots on earth. Sera watched with consternation as events unfolded, as did the other celestial beings, and sent a group of angels to assess the damage. However, the rift proved to be too extensive, and there was no way to close it.

Faced with such a threat, Sera held a trial, which reached the consensus to eradicate those who caused so much chaos. Carmilla, overcome with anguish and desperation, stood in Miguel's way, seeking to stop the bloodshed among their own.

"Move, Carmilla," ordered Miguel.

"I won't. My father wouldn't want this."

"He doesn't deserve his mercy. He destroyed your father's work, our work!"

"Miguel, please. There must be another way to solve this, he's my brother." She thought for a moment, seeing the pain in Carmilla's eyes.

"Just because thou ask, I'll propose changing the punishment to something less severe." Carmilla sighed with relief. "But I warn thee, whatever the new order is, thou'll be responsible for carrying it out."

Miguel stepped back, leaving Carmilla with a lump in her throat. Lucifer, unaware of the crime he was accused of, continued with his life as if nothing had happened, but he felt the gaze of reproach from the other angels. He knew he had made a mistake, but he didn't know how to fix it.

Lucifer walked through the bustling streets of the celestial city, ignoring the murmurs and accusing glances that surrounded him. He knew everyone was aware of what he had done, and the weight of guilt and remorse accompanied him with every step. Finally, he arrived at the home he shared with his sisters, a refuge amidst the turmoil of heaven. Without a word, he made his way to his chamber and lay down on his bed, letting the silence envelop his troubled soul. Tears threatened to surface, but Lucifer forced himself to hold them back. He knew he had made irreparable mistakes, and now he had to face the consequences of his actions. In the stillness of his chamber, he was alone with his thoughts, grappling with his internal conflicts as he plunged into a sea of regret and anguish.

"Wait, Lilith," he thought then, a spark of concern crossing his tormented mind. He knew that whatever punishment he received, she would suffer it too. He couldn't allow his beloved to be harmed, no matter the cost. Quickly, Lucifer stood up, unwilling to waste another second, and sought out his closest friends, Araziel and Zestial, knowing he needed their support. Together, they gathered in the privacy of their home, ready to assess their options and chart a course of action.

Araziel, known for his rebellious spirit and his love for chaos, proposed the idea of recruiting disgruntled angels dissatisfied with the rigid celestial order, those who yearned for change and were willing to follow Lucifer in his quest for justice and freedom. Zestial, with his unwavering loyalty and serene wisdom, vehemently nodded in agreement, backing Araziel's proposal. Together, the three began to devise a plan to recruit followers, preparing to face whatever would come their way.

Several days of hard work and dedication passed, during which they managed to gain the support of a third of heaven, angels who shared their discontent with the established order and longed for radical change. However, someone crucial was still missing, someone whose endorsement was vital for the success of their cause. Lucifer fervently desired to have Carmilla by his side in this struggle, for despite everything, she had always been there for him. He knew the power of his sister and her influence over other angels; she was a commander, second only to Michael.

One afternoon, he approached Carmilla, hoping to convince her to join them in their crusade. However, upon presenting his proposal, he realized that things wouldn't be as easy as he had hoped. Carmilla, far from showing enthusiasm or support, looked at him with a mixture of sadness and determination in her eyes.

"Lucifer, I cannot do it," Carmilla whispered, her voice trembling, feeling the overwhelming weight of responsibility upon her. "If thou risest against heaven, I shall be obliged to face thee. I do not want that, brother, please, do not force me down that path."

"I thought no one gives thee orders. Why dost thou obey now?" Lucifer inquired.

"Because thou art not giving me choices," she replied, tears welling up, on the verge of collapse. "They shall send thee to hell, Lucifer. Thee, and Lilith, and if thou startest this senseless war, also thy friends."

"Then so be it, but I shall not be subdued without a fight."

The battle erupted in heaven once the rebellion began, with the sound of wings unfurling and the clash of swords resonating in the air. Lucifer led, alongside hundreds of angels who had joined his cause, defying the tyranny of Sera and the elders of heaven. On the other hand, Michael, the mightiest of the archangels, rose as the principal defender of the celestial order, supported by legions of faithful angels who fought ferociously, including Carmilla.

The confrontation between Lucifer and Michael was epic, a clash of titans that shook the universe. Both warriors faced each other with fierce determination, each blow and parry resonating with the intensity of a thousand thunders. Despite Lucifer's courage and skill, he was finally overcome by Michael's imposing strength and ability. In the midst of the chaos, Michael lunged at the dreamer with the intention of ending him once and for all, ignoring direct orders. Carmilla, witnessing this, stepped between the two with speed, and the clash of her lance against Michael's body was terrifying. The weapon pierced Michael's chest, and a gut-wrenching scream echoed in the heavens as he fell to the ground, fatally wounded. Quickly, Lucifer seized the lance, feeling the weight of responsibility and anger burning within him.

With a quick and decisive movement, Lucifer turned to Carmilla and said:

"Now 'tis my turn to protect thee." All witnesses blamed Lucifer for that crime.

"Forgive me for not being able to do more."

With Michael's death, Carmilla assumed the role of Commander-in-Chief of the army, and as her first task, she had to finish what Michael started. Out of pity, she sent all the rebels to hell, bidding farewell to her brother with a cold look, unable to show any other emotion. She knew that this was the only way to keep him safe; as long as she was in command of the army, no one would harm him.

I. New Characters

5-Star Character "Flame-Mane" Dehya (Pyro)

◇ Vision: Pyro

◇ Weapon: Claymore

◇ A member of the Eremites, a mercenary organization that roams the sands of Sumeru. Valiant and powerful, she enjoys great fame amongst her fellow Eremites.

◆ Elemental Skill: Molten Inferno

◆ Dehya's Elemental Skill "Molten Inferno" has two parts to it. "Molten Inferno: Indomitable Flame" deals AoE Pyro DMG and creates a Fiery Sanctum field, while "Molten Inferno: Ranging Flame" recreates said field at a new position after dealing AoE Pyro DMG, which will inherit the remaining duration of the previous field. When an enemy within a Fiery Sanctum field takes damage, the field will unleash a coordinated attack. In addition, active characters within the Fiery Sanctum field have their resistance to interruption increased, and when such characters take DMG, a portion of that damage will be mitigated and flow into Redmane's Blood. Dehya will then take this DMG over a period of time.

◆ Elemental Burst: Leonine Bite

◆ After casting her Elemental Burst "Leonine Bite," Dehya retrieves the Fiery Sanctum on the field and enters the "Blazing Lioness" state, which increases her resistance to interruption. In this state, Dehya uses her Flame-Mane's Fist and Incineration Drive to deal Pyro DMG to enemies. When this state ends, a Fiery Sanctum field will be recreated at her new position, and will inherit the remaining duration of the previous field.

● The 5-star character "Flame-Mane" Dehya (Pyro) will be available in the standard wish "Wanderlust Invocation" in the next Version.

4-Star Character "Coordinates of Clear Frost" Mika (Cryo)

◇ Vision: Cryo

◇ Weapon: Polearm

◇ A young knight born to an ordinary family. He serves as a Front-Line Surveyor in his Company. He is a low-key and cautious character.

◆ Elemental Skill: Starfrost Swirl

◆ After using his Elemental Skill "Starfrost Swirl," Mika uses his crossbow to attack, granting all nearby characters in your party Soulwind. When characters in the Soulwind state are on the field, their ATK SPD will be increased. When tapped, Mika fires a Flowfrost Arrow that can pierce through opponents, dealing Cryo DMG to enemies it comes into contact with. When held, Mika goes into Aiming Mode, locking on to an opponent and firing a Rimestar Flare at them, dealing Cryo DMG. When the Rimestar Flare hits, it will rise before exploding, launching Rimestar Shards into a maximum of 3 other opponents, dealing Cryo DMG.

◆ Elemental Burst: Skyfeather Song

◆ After using his Elemental Burst "Skyfeather Song," Mika derives the ability to spur his teammates on from the recited prayers of the knightly order, regenerating HP for all nearby party members. This healing is based on Mika's Max HP and will grant them the Eagleplume state. When the Normal Attacks of active characters affected by Eagleplume hit an opponent, Mika will help them regenerate HP based on his Max HP. Characters affected by this state can only regenerate HP in this way once per short interval of time.

II. New Equipment

New Weapons

Beacon of the Reed Sea (5-Star Claymore)

After the character's Elemental Skill hits an opponent, their ATK will be increased by 20% for 8s. After the character takes DMG, their ATK will be increased by 20% for 8s. The 2 aforementioned effects can be triggered even when the character is not on the field. Additionally, when not protected by a shield, the character's Max HP will be increased by 32%.

◆ During the event wish "Epitome Invocation," the event-exclusive 5-star weapon Beacon of the Reed Sea (Claymore) will receive a huge drop-rate boost!

Mailed Flower (4-Star Claymore)

Within 8s after the character's Elemental Skill hits an opponent or the character triggers an Elemental Reaction, their ATK and Elemental Mastery will be increased by 12% and 48 respectively.

◆ Mailed Flower (Claymore) and its refinement materials can be redeemed in the event "Windblume's Breath."

◇ This seems to have once been a trusted guard of high standing in some land who wielded the power of Geo.

Its attacks become stronger and fiercer when they hit shielded characters, at the cost of its own health.

Spiral Abyss

Floor 11 Ley Line Disorders changed to:

Starting from the first time that the Lunar Phase refreshes after updating to Version 3.5, the two Lunar Phases will be as follows:

Phase I:

Determined Moon

After a character's HP decreases, all party members will gain a stack of Implacable: DMG dealt will be increased by 8% for 8s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3s. Max 4 stacks. Each stack's duration is counted independently.

Phase II:

Incisive Moon

When a character's HP decreases, release a shockwave at the current active character's position, dealing True DMG to nearby opponents. This effect can be triggered once every 3s.

※ The above Spiral Abyss update will take effect from March 16 at 04:00 (Server Time).

〓Adjustments & Optimizations〓

● System

On the Weapon and Artifact enhancement interface, you can now hold and scroll/swipe to select multiple Artifacts and Weapons that you want to consume.

On the Destroy interface, you can now hold and scroll/swipe to select multiple Artifacts and Weapons that you want to destroy.

On mobile, when the interaction key in certain gameplay modes is not available, it is now possible to touch the corresponding area to adjust the viewing angle.

Optimizes operations and interactions on the Weapons and Artifact interface, and fixes some issues:

In Controller Mode, once Weapons and Artifacts have been enhanced to their maximum level, or when Weapons have been refined to their maximum level, you can now return to the previous page via the "Back" button.

In Controller Mode, the Weapon/Artifact Attributes on the right side of the Weapon/Artifact Enhancement page can now be toggled up and down with the right joystick.

In Controller Mode, when opening the comparison window in the Artifact Interface, the same button can be pressed again to close the window.

Fixes an issue whereby under certain circumstances, the names of a small portion of Artifacts in the Artifact Enhancement menu were abnormally obscured.

Optimizes the movement effects of the list of Artifacts or Weapons when selecting Artifacts or Weapons in the Character interface.

● Genius Invokation TCG

Adjusts the interface performance for the dice rolling phase of Genius Invokation TCG.

Optimizes the refresh logic for the number of times the Summons and Team Combat Statuses can be used in Genius Invokation TCG. The number of Usages will take the highest value.

Example: Suppose that the default initial number of Usages for a Summon is 2, and that Summon is already on the field and its current available Usages is at 4. Before the optimization, if that Summon is created again, the number of its available Usages will be updated to 2. After said optimization, the maximum number of available Usages will be 4.

● Other

Optimizes the visual performance of certain scenes.

Optimizes the source description of the Traveler's Constellation activation material.

Adds a path on the map to a cave entrance in the Qusayr Al-Inkhida' area of the Desert of Hadramaveth (only adds an icon on the map, the terrain remains unchanged.)

It is no longer possible to use the "Treasure Compass" gadget in the Eternal Oasis.

Adjusts the display order of the achievement "The Dirge of Bilqis" in the "Sumeru: The Gilded Desert - Series II" achievement category.

Adjusts the name of the namecard from "Achievement: Sandstorm" to "Sumeru: Sandstorm."

Adjusts the category names of some items.

Adjusts the category of some enemy drops to "Character and Weapon Enhancement Material."

Fixes an issue whereby a Korean voice-over in the Story Quest "Kaeya's Gain" was abnormally interrupted.

Fixes an issue whereby an inner monologue sound effect in the Story Quest "The Rumored Alchemist" would not play.

Fixes an issue whereby certain chests could not be unlocked in the Domain of the World Quest "The Rhythm that Reveals the Beastly Trail" under certain circumstances.

● Enemies

Fixes an issue with the boss "Perpetual Mechanical Array" whereby when it splits, there was a small probability that it would abnormally take DMG.

● Characters

Fixes an issue whereby after either Xingqiu, Thoma, or Yelan uses an Elemental Burst, if the currently active character switches to the Traveler due to cutscenes or dialogue, the effects of said unleashed Elemental Burst would be triggered abnormally.

Fixes an issue whereby after disconnecting from the server, the elemental application frequency of Xingqiu's Rain Swords would be abnormal.

Fixes an issue whereby there was an incorrect transition time to the sprinting movement, where Yaoyao could sprint immediately after launching a Plunging Attack.

Fixes an issue with Yaoyao whereby after casting her Elemental Skill, if you switch to another character while summoning Yuegui, the White Jade Radishes that Yuegui throws at the character would have a small probability of having an abnormal trajectory.

Fixes an issue whereby under certain circumstances, the size of the special effects of Cyno's "Endseer" state was abnormally displayed.

Fixes an issue with Eula whereby a bug resulting from performance optimizations after Version 3.3 would cause abnormalities in the timing for holding her Elemental Skill to deal damage after obtaining the Grimheart effect.

Fixes an issue whereby after either Xiangling, Yun Jin, Rosaria, Thoma, or Shenhe obtains an elemental infusion, when performing a Plunging Attack, they would abnormally apply elemental effects when descending.

● Audio

Fixes an issue whereby some music would trigger abnormally in some environments.

Fixes an issue with Yelan whereby when her voice-over is triggered after reaching Friendship Lv. 2, there was a small probability that the voice-over would encounter an error.

Fixes an issue with Kuki Shinobu whereby when her voice-over is triggered after reaching Friendship Lv. 2, her voice-over would not play properly.

Fixes an issue whereby Paimon's English voice-over tip "How about we explore the area ahead of us later?" would be missing.

Red, White & Royal Blue - Casey McQuiston: no explanation necessary, right? This book is everything to me for so many reasons, not least that it brought me some of the best people I know 💖

Pride & Prejudice - Jane Austen: I read this for school in year 9 and fell in love with romance as a genre. I reread it at least once a year for a very long time.

Song of the Lioness Quartet - Tamora Pierce (and all of the books set in Tortall tbh): yes, this is a series. Alanna and her adventures are very dear to my heart, and I love that in recent years, the author has said that if she was writing the books now, she’d probably describe Alanna as non-binary but she didn’t have that language when she wrote the books in the 80s. I’m very excited to introduce this quartet to my eldest soon.

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins: for a while, I devoured pretty much YA dystopian fiction book out there and this is the best of them. I’ve read them many times, and they hold a special place in my heart because they were a familiar, comforting reread at a very difficult time in my life.

The Snail & the Whale - Julia Donaldson: a children’s picture book, yes. But I’ve read it aloud hundreds of times to my kids and it’s just such a beautiful story about seeing the wonders of the world from a new perspective. It’s got such a lovely cadence and rhythm to it too, when read aloud.

Something Wild & Wonderful - Anita Kelly: aka the one (1) book I’ve read recently. I preordered this because I really enjoyed her other book, Love & Other Disasters, but it sat unread on my kindle for months until a friend mentioned that they’d started it. A quick look at the blurb gave me similar vibes to Fifteen Hundred Miles, one of my all time favourite Schitt’s Creek fics, so I started it and I could barely put it down! I sobbed for the last 60 pages or so - sad and then happy tears and it was wonderful.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo - Taylor Jenkins Reid: I loved everything about this. Compelling storytelling, with an imperfect protagonist who you hope succeeds despite her flaws.

and two authors who I’d read anything they published, without question:

Casey McQuiston - they haven’t failed me yet. I didn’t like I Kissed Shara Wheeler as much as RWRB and One Last Stop, but it was a good read and had characters who I love (Smith, my beloved). For a while there, I was convinced that it was going to take CMQ4 to break my book drought.

Alexis Hall - Boyfriend Material was the first book of his that I read, and I quickly read a lot of his back catalogue along with everything he’s published since and there’s nothing I’ve read that I haven’t enjoyed immensely. Plus, when I was on Twitter, I soon learned that Alexis loves to have a conversation almost entirely in Schitt’s Creek gifs and anyone who does that immediately endears themselves to me 😅

Ranging Flame: Can be used once anytime after using Molten Inferno: Indomitable Flame, as long as Fiery Sanctum is on the field.

Reason: Currently, you have 12 seconds to use Ranging Flame. This change is to make her easier to play with the improved C2, where the duration will be extended right after using Indomitable Flame.

Courage is a funny thing. It is defined in Webster's College Dictionary as

"The quality of mind or spirit that enables a person 2 face difficulty, danger, pain, etc. w/o fear; bravery. The confidence 2 act in accordance w/ one's beliefs. To nerve oneself 2 perform an action." A few interesting similes I found included "Bold as a lion"-- Holy Bible, "Valient as a lion"-- William Shakespeare, "Indomitable as a lioness"-- Aharon Appelfeld, "Bold as love"-- Edmund Gosse, "Bold as Paul in the presence of Agrippa"-- William Cowper. Additionally, Katherine Mansfield once stated that, "Courage is like a disobedient dog, once it starts running away it flies all the faster for your attempts 2 recall it."

I once was an extremely courageous person. Bordering often as more aggressive rather than assertive. It took years of recovery & several sessions in my NIV 2 tame my unruly spirit which was more a reaction 2 my fear inside than actual bravery. Not that I ever gained a docile spirit but not so much a pit bull in mid flight. However, several events chipped away @ that firey personna, 2 the point that when I lost my daughter that fighting spirit was kicked out of me. Gripping on2 my sanity was about all I muster, in order 2 care for my grandchildren on a daily basis. But when my younger daughter was arrested for murder & then my mother was killed 3 days later, sanity left the building. A rage began building inside of my soul & not a healthy rage. A sick, twisted decay of anything good in me. It boiled & festered & grew 2 the point where I did not know where I ended & bitterness began. I was more than a mess & it cost me huge. More loss, more heartache & in my unbearable grief I reached out for the familiar. I truly thought God had abandoned me. How could He claim 2 love me & allow all of this heartache? I know that people encounter trials but there had just been so much. I felt like I had no other options but one & that one thing is truly not my style. Besides, I saw what it had done 2 my husband & his brother when their dad checked out like that. I just could not inflict any more pain on those precious 2 me than I already had. I just drowned the pain. Slipped away in2 nothingness & oblivion. Numbness was the ONLY option I could see. However, anyone who has walked that path knows how well that works. Eventually the pain is larger than the bottle (or whatever) & you must come up for air or die. I needed 2 do something; anything other than what I was doing, but how? I felt I had nothing inside. No will 2 breathe let alone fight. Where had my courage gone? "Courage is like love; it must have hope 2 nourish it" --Napoleon Bonaparte.

I was wrong though. So very, very wrong. Courage has been w/ me all along. In me, around me, through me, pushing me, & protecting me. Jesus has never left me. Ever. His Holy Spirit had been softly whispering 2 me 2 come back from the edge but I just couldn't hear Him. I wouldn't hear Him. I was 2 angry 2 listen. Oftentimes, when we don't hearken 2 the soft whispers of God, He will turn up the volume. Getting loud is exactly what He did. Subtly @ first but increasingly He became more emphatic until everything in my life just exploded.

I was so angered by the actions that followed. The people who betrayed me...my people. People I loved & trusted. People I had been good 2 & should have been able 2 trust. The individuals who lied & should have known better. The professional ones who behaved in unprofessional & unethical ways. Negligent, inefficient, & fraudulent ways that, for whatever reason, that I am only able 2 speculate on.

All of that is truly irrelevant though, bcuz bottom line, if I hadn't already have been so broken, they could have never finished the job. I am responsible. For.-It.-All. No, they didn't do what they did for my betterment. Nor for my grandchildren's. Yes, their motives for the most part were actually quite sinister, crazy as that sounds. No, I'm not some irrationally, deranged, conspiracy theorist. My mind is pretty well clear now. But I finally realized that they were only a tool that, @ first was put in motion by the enemy, but GOD in His Amazing ways, used all of their actions 2 rescue me. He is my hope. He is my courage. He is my everything & I can do all things thru Him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13. He just needed 2 get my attention & @ the same time remind the planet just how incredible He is. Because I am a miracle. A walking, talking 2nd time around miracle & that Glory is ALL His.

His Grace & that God-infused courage has restored the relationship w/ our oldest grandson. It has helped me move forward in the pursuing of visitation w/ my other grandbabies. Despite having 2 face the very people who came @ me last time, it will happen. I know it will. In His time; when I'm ready.

I do find it quite interesting that courage is often correlated w/ lions. Mothers are often referred 2 as a lioness protecting their cubs. I am feeling just like that. But along w/my courage that comes from God also comes the discipline & the common sense restraint that He is endowing me w/ so as 2 do this appropriately. Because I have 2 take responsibility for my behavior & what others do is not my problem. Their His department & He will deal w/ them. He is God & He knows exactly what the precise amount of justice combined w/ the right amount of mercy is.

God gave me back my life...AGAIN. He gave me the courage 2 face life w/o my daughter in it. W/o that courage I would not have my grandson back in my life. Little by little everything is coming 2gether & that is only bcuz God has been leading the way. It has not been an easy path but it has & is so worth it. A path full of practicing forgiveness & letting go of anger. A road full of pride-releasing vulnerability that has definitely been an unforgettable & eventful journey. God instructs me 2 forgive, mainly myself because that is who I am hardest on. Expects me 2 forgive. Hard...oh yes, but the alternative is so much harder. Have a wonderful day. God Bless.
