I have a sweet/angsty headcanon that Michael loves like a dog but since hes literally one of the strongest archangels hes afraid of being with MC.

So. Yk , something like admiring someone from afar,and if anything happend to them he would definitely teleport out of nowhere and make up some excuse "oh yeah i was just really close"

He would always visit MC in their dreams to make sure theyre sleeping well, but again those dreams are just dreams. Because theres a fear of losing them and losing everything he has.

He can only be intimate and close to MC in the dream.

I feel like, even if u give him fake promises or any promises he will hold onto it and cling onto it because he knows and thinks u are a good person ,and because he gen loves u.

(I also want to mention i want to give him a hc he has separation anxiety bcs i have it so i just want to relate to my fav char).
