Two of my own answers to the (so-called) "Paradox" thought up by Enrico Fermi:

One: Chances are, it's impossible for complex, multicellular,* organisms to survive for long without the complex networks of simple, single-cell,* organisms of their home planets.

For example, according to this section of the Wikipedia article "Human microbiome", there are more bacterial cells than human cells in our bodies, not to mention all the non-bacterial critters that call us "The universe" (metaphorically speaking).

Once you get past the squick factor, it just makes sense that life starts out small, simple and numerous. And when some of that life gets more complex, and evolves to relatively giant sizes, the smaller life that's already there treats the newcomers simply as another environment to inhabit. And the macro-scaled life simultaneously evolved to depend for their survival on the microbes. Regardless of all the different ways life could evolve, that general pattern is likely to be actually universal, given the laws of entropy, and all.

I imagine that if we ever do find current microbial life on Mars (or other place in our solar system), that we'll probably take it off our list of possible places to colonize, to avoid the risks of either causing an extinction of life already there, or causing the sickness or death of the people we send there.

And I imagine that any super technologically advanced species that develops an understanding and means of interstellar space travel would also have developed an understanding of the tiny universes inside us all. If they do travel outside their home planets, the smart ones will likely avoid any planet that already has life on it.

*or some other evolutionary equivalent to "cells".

Two: There's a good chance that at least some super-intelligent, complex, technologically advanced, species evolved, and continue to live under their planet's oceans,* in which case, it's unlikely that most of their populations would have the same intense fascination with far-away stars that we do.

*if Earth's octopuses can give us any clues; I've heard it said that if octopuses ever evolve to live for multiple generations, and pass down their accumulated knowledge, they'd be the ones putting us in terrariums, instead of us putting them in aquariums.

Look, I'm not one of those people who need every little nuance of a movie plot laid out for me.

But after the deep dive of Wandavision, and the amazing job it showed of the manifestation of Wanda's grief, it would have been NICE to see even a little bit of the progression of the Darkhold corruption. Instead we get the Wandavision end credits and are just supposed to assume she's evil now. A disservice to the character and world building of Wandavision.

Also it would have been NICE to get a real introduction to America Chavez instead of that lame plot device flashback, again, a disservice to the character.

I'm 'starting' to think that Marvel doesn't care about female characters.
