What's the relationship dynamic like between you and the Snatcher? Has he ever made a contract with you? How long did it take him to open up to you? Are the two of you into PDA?

For our relationship dynamic I'd descibe it as "person harden by the world and refused to open up again x optimist who sees the best in people and slowly breaks their shell"

Snatcher had long given up in love and humanity as a whole, seeing humans as only a fun play thing or a quick snack. So when he meets someone who shows him of all people real genuine kindness, he's dumbfounded. How? Why? Why would someone be nice to him? He could understand why Hat & Bow are nice to him, they're childen (and also aliens!) But me? Who was aware of his reputation? Who knew what he did to people? He just couldn't get it. At first he kinda hated me, making it clear if it wasn't for Hat Kids intervention I'd be dead by now, but he was also subconsciously fascinated. At first he convinced himself he was just curious as to what the fuck was wrong with me, for not being scared of him, for actively wanting to be around him. But eventually he realised it was love. He HATED IT. He told himself he was never going to fall in love after last time (not that he truly loved her but thats a headcanon for another time), but here he his head over heals for a silly little human!! He tried his best to avoid me for a while, I was really confused and quite a bit upset. It wasn't until Hat Kid showed me a certain book I understood why he was avoiding me. I managed to track him down, told him I knew what happened and that if he wanted to me go away I would, and I think that's what broke him. After centuries of building up walls, of not allowing people in, he finally allowed himself to be soft. That was the first time he hugged me, and I guess the rest is history as they say

Wow that was a lot more than I meant to write, I'd say a more modern description of our relationship dynamic is "bastard (Snatcher) and bastard enabler (me)"

Has he made a contract with me? Thats actually how we met! I was wandering in Subcon Forest when I stumbled into one of his traps! He would of had my soul if it wasn't for Hat Kid intervening at the last second. She said she didn't want him taking any souls whist she was around and he reluctantly agreed (he is her contractually obligated bff!). Instead of doing the smart thing and running away I stuck around, from that first meeting I thought he was really cool and wanted to know more. Now he does occasionally give me contracts but they're only silly things, like if I loose the next game in mario kart I have to give him a kiss.

It took a long time, everything I decribed in the first part was over the course of about a year. That still might be relatively quick, especially if you've been around for centuries like him, a year feels like nothing, but it felt like centuries for me!

Neither of us are much for pda, nevermind trying to get him to leave Subcon. Generally the most he dose in public is pet names: toots, sweetheart, dearie. If it's in a sappy romance novel he has called me it.

But when it is the two of us? We are both very physically affectionate, he is a giant lap cat/snake. He likes to coil himself around me and I can't complain! He's so soft and gentle, he knows my joints aren't the best and does everything he can to make sure I'm comfy
