You know what I’m really glad that you’re a Daemon hoe. It’s a real blessing for me, a fellow Daemon hoe, to have someone as talented as you to write about him because it’s so difficult to find well-written long-form Daemon x Reader fics. It’s full of Daemyra, Aemond, Aegon etc. like don’t get me wrong I have nothing against them but it’s not my cup of tea you know. I find it comforting that I can always go back and read your works and satiate my thirst for Daemon lmao. Seriously, you’re insanely brilliant. Your terms of endearment series is one of the best fics I’ve read. Every time I read your fic updates, I’m always like “Oh wow, imagine being this talented.” It shines through in your work the effort you’ve put in and I’m in awe and appreciative of it. I’M ON MY KNEES LIKE THIS 🧎🏻‍♀️ THANKING YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO DAEMON NATION 🫡

It's definitely something I've noticed fandom-wise; I will never begrudge anyone their preferences, of course, but there is so SO much Aemond/Aegon/Jace x OC/Reader content and just dribbles of Daemon by comparison. The more I've noticed it, the more it's forced me quite firmly into the Daemon camp, you know? I'm defensive over my meow-meow, haha! As far as I'm concerned, he hits all my prereqs for obsession: charismatic, powerful, amoralistic, depraved (sexually and otherwise), older, shiny hair. I like Aemond just fine, but he's too widdle for me. Too baby. Give him a decade or two and I'd tap that. Aegon? He makes me uncomfy. Jace? I'm sorry, he's a dork, lol. I mean, I wouldn't say no to them - they're pretty, pretty bois - but Daemon could do whatever the fuck he wanted to me and I'd let him.

I'm so touched that you enjoy my work. I've put in a lot of time and thought to make it as immersive as I can - I don't know why, but I did. Just thought DaddyDom Daemon might be disappointed in me if I did anything less, lol. I've mentioned it from time to time, but I do quite literally spend hours and hours researching for this fic (and not just pornographic stuff, of which there has been plenty and DEFINITELY attracted some sort of government monitoring I'm sure): from geography, culture, historicity, herbalism/medical practice, cross-referencing with GRRM's work, translating the High Valyrian myself, identifying word origins (so I can be sure I'm not using too modern a term to express an idea), reviewing scripts and scenes, pregnancy and birthing stuff, etc. If I put my writing out, I want to be confident that I've done so with at least a partial awareness of the subject matter. I'm truthfully very, very proud of this series, and even if I move on to other fandoms in future I'll always be able to look back at this with the knowledge that I did my best.

Thank you so, so much for your kind and COMPLETELY beyond flattering words. I'm honoured. I'm going to continue to do my part for the Daemon stannies for as long as y'all will let me scream into this void, haha! You've made my day with this ask, nonnie!
