Riverdale was really so scared of alienating fans over ships that it said “they all fuck each other in high school, then they go their separate ways and never see each other again.”

#and you know what? #I’m not mad about it #that was probably the most realistic take on relationships I’ve seen from a teen show #I mean not the quad part #but not ending up with someone you dated in high school? #Betty never marrying and adopting? #in fact I think only Archie ends up married of the four? #I can’t recall another teen show that did that #(probably helps that Betty and Archie’s moment together was so meaningful. so I was still well fed.) #the only thing I AM mad about is Tabitha and jughead/Tabitha that remains heartbreaking #and irked that they had Archie leave riverdale and never return when alive #because that’s just … not his character. at all. #but all in all the finale was fine #anyway can’t believe I’ll never again log on to see something like organ harvesting cult trending under tv #riverdale
