I doubt this is going to happen. I have no doubt S2 is gonna beat us relentlessly against a wall as far as emotional weight and the gravity of resolving all the misunderstandings

But wouldn’t it just be so funny if they totally subverted that? Like the second Ed and Stede lock eyes they’re already making up before they’re even close enough to hold each other. No tension no angst, we’ll all be writing the opposite of fix-it fics, we’ll be writing make-it-worse fics 😭😭
