I am bored so I’m going to do this
I saw this on a mutual’s blog, and it looked really different compared to other questionaires that I’ve seen on Tumblr. So, let’s get to it!
♡ What movie do you wish you were a character in?
Oh my goodness, there are so many! But one movie that makes me so excited is The Night at the Museum series, particularly the first movie. History has been my passion since I was 12 years old, and you cannot imagine how many nights I’ve lain awake wishing that I could talk to or be friends with my favorite historical people. When I first saw Night at the Museum, it was like my ideal situation, my ultimate wish coming true. To devote my life to history and to share it with people is my life’s ambition, and working in a museum like that would be everything, LOL.
♡ Create your dream fragrance; what would the ingredients be like?
A warm, somewhat musky fragrance; a smell that transports you to feeling like you’re stepping into a warm bath, with a touch of flowers in the water to permeate the air. Sweet, sensual, and more than a little seductive.
♡ As a siren, what bewitching song would you sing to lure people to their doom?
This is going to sound a little cheesy, but ‘Killing Me Softly.’ It’s a very beautiful song full of yearning and longing to be with someone, but only being able to love them from a distance. It was written and sung by the very underrated and wonderful singer/songwriter Roberta Flack in the 1970′s, and Lauryn Hill did a very famous cover of this same song with The Fugees during the 1990′s. If you’ve never heard it before, I would definitely recommend that you check it out. It’s one of my favorite songs ever.
♡  *clicks shoes together three times* Anywhere in the world (fantasy or reality) where would you go?
No question--Middle Earth, and not even belonging to any particular group of Middle Earthling, even though I am very partial to the Shire and its way of life. Just to be a being of Middle Earth and to know that I shared existence with such amazing beings would be an incredible experience. Though if I had it my way, I would definitely bide my time between the Shire and Rivendell for living situations, but with lots of visitations to Rohan and Gondor.
♡ Similar to Harry Potter, if you could reside in a painting, which one would you choose?
Tumblr media
This would be the painting that I would love to be in at Hogwarts. It’s called The Boyar’s Wedding, referring to the old-style Russian nobility of medieval times. I believe it’s by Konstantin Makovsky, and I also believe that it was painted in the mid-to-late 1800′s, which was a time period where many European countries, including Russia, was very enthusiastically interested in its past. I just love the sheer meticulous detail of the clothing they’re wearing, the room in which they’re sitting, and how ornate their surroundings are. Also, it’s a party, and I feel like if I’m going to be in a painting, I might as well be enjoying myself in it!
♡ Like the symbols associated with the Greek gods and goddesses; what would be your chosen symbol to embody you as a person? (E.g. some symbols of Aphrodite are dove and sparrows.)
I hate to steal from Liv (the person’s blog whom I took these questions from), but I have to say my nice pair of big, ample boobs. LISTEN PEOPLE. If dudes could get away with literally making dicks their prime symbol of power and virility, I can do that with tits! YOU CAN’T STOP ME I’M A GODDESS, I DON’T ANSWER TO MERE MORTALS.
♡ If you were to create your own Met Gala theme, what would it be based on?
Come dressed in the clothes or costume of your country or culture of origin. I would love to see all the beautiful clothes from all around the world!
♡ What seven objects would you choose to hide your soul in?
A book, a guitar, a Renaissance dress, a sapphire, a sword, an astronomical clock, and a Disney movie.
♡ You’re whistling while you work, what animals would you like to come and join?
The animals that I like wouldn’t fit in a work space area! I like elephants and gorillas and otters and penguins....yeah, that would be really out of place, LOL!
♡ Like the story of Swan Lake, what mythical creature/beings from folklore would you like to transform into by day?
A drop-dead seductive selkie. Like...I wanna keep my voluptuous curves and my long hair, but somehow I want the fact that I’m a mythological being to magically make all of that gorgeous! That’s the dream tbh.
I’m not gonna tag anyone since I wasn’t tagged to do this, but if you wanna do this, free feel and go ahead! This was so fun and creative.

Our Universal Mother - 66
OUR LADY OF FATIMA 1917 - 2017 (100th Anniversary) - May 13th and Prayers
We celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Fatima on May 13th. On this day in 1917, Our Lady made her first appearance to three shepherd children, Jacinta (age 7), Francisco (age 9) and Lucia (age 10), at Fatima in Portugal. She appeared to them once a month from May through October. The lives of the three children of Fatima were entirely transformed by the heavenly apparitions. While fulfilling the duties of their state with the greatest fidelity, those children seemed now to live only for prayer and sacrifice, which they offered in a spirit of reparation to obtain peace and the conversion of sinners. They deprived themselves of water during the periods of great heat; they gave their lunch to poor children; they wore around their waists thick cords that even drew blood; they abstained from innocent pleasures and urged one another to the practice of prayer and penance with an ardor comparable to that of the great saints.
A SURE MEANS OF SALVATION
Our Lady communicated with Lucia, the oldest of the three children, in her six monthly appearances. She asked the Blessed Virgin Mary to take them to Heaven. "Yes," Our Lady answered, "I will take Jacinta and Francisco soon. You, however, are to stay here a longer time. Jesus wants to use you to make me known and loved. He wants to establish the devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world. I promise salvation to those who embrace it and their souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by myself to adorn His throne".
There are three principal practices of devotion which Our Lady has requested in honor of her Immaculate Heart: the First Saturday of the month, the Five First Saturdays, and the Consecration of Russia. They bear a marked similarity to the devotions in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The practice of the First Saturdays - It consists of the following exercises, performed with the intention of consoling the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and making reparation to it for all the outrages and blasphemies of which it is the object on the part of ungrateful Christians: 1. the Rosary; 2. Communion of Reparation.
The practice of the Five First Saturdays - In addition to the two exercises already mentioned, the following two are added on the first Saturday of five consecutive months: 3. go to confession; 4. keep the company of the Immaculate Heart of Mary by meditating for a quarter of an hour on the mysteries of the Rosary. These two must be offered in reparation to the Immaculate Heart . The meditation may be on one or several mysteries.
Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary - Our Lady asked that Russia be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart and Lucia, one of the seers, has explained that Our Lady wants the Pope and all the bishops of the world to do this on one special day. If this is done She will convert Russia and there will be peace . . .
The Consecration has not been done as Our Lady requested. After a lecture at St. Peter's Church in New York City on January 27, 1988, the following request was made of Cardinal Ratzinger, (later Pope Benedict XVI): "Your Eminence, I would like you to ask the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, immediately and in union with all the bishops in the world." He replied: "I know it has to be done!"... clearly indicating that the Consecration has not been done yet, and that it needs to be done*. Cardinals Stickler, Gagnon, and Mayer have also conceded that Our Lady of Fatima's requested consecration of Russia has never been fulfilled. So we must appeal to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to obtain for Our Holy Father the Pope and the bishops of the world the graces to make this consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart, just as she has requested, so that Russia will be converted, so that we will have true peace in the world, and we will have the Reign of Mary and the triumph of her Immaculate Heart. [*View the online video "Heaven's Key to Peace" for more on the Consecration of Russia - visit the youtube site below:

Lucia relates that on June 13th, 1917, after speaking at length about her Immaculate Heart, Our Lady of Fatima again stretched forth her hands, throwing on the children the rays of that immense light in which they saw themselves as if immersed in God . . . The Blessed Virgin held in her right hand a Heart surrounded by thorns, which pierced it from all sides. The seers understood that it was the Immaculate Heart of Mary, afflicted by all the sins of the world, which demanded penance and reparation. "It seems to me," said Lucia, "that on that day, the purpose of the light was to pour into us a special knowledge and love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as on other occasions it infused into us the knowledge and love of God, and the mystery of the Blessed Trinity."
Jacinta seems to have received "a special light to understand intimately and in detail the meanings of these heavenly revelations." Before leaving for the hospital in 1919, she said to Lucia: "I am going soon to heaven. You will remain still on earth to make known to men that the Lord wishes to spread in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. When you have to speak about it, you will no longer have to hide yourself! Proclaim openly to the whole world that: It is through the Immaculate Heart of Mary that God wishes to grant us His graces! It is from this Immaculate Heart that we must ask for them! The Heart of Jesus wishes the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be venerated with His own! It is through the Immaculate Heart of Mary that peace must be asked, because it is to that Heart that the Lord has confided it. How I love the Immaculate Heart of Mary! It is the Heart of Our Heavenly Mother! Oh! If only I could put into all hearts the fire I feel in my own, which makes me love the Hearts of Jesus and Mary so much!"
To remind the three children of their special vocation and to inspire them to greater fervor and courage for the future, Our Lady said: "Sacrifice yourself for sinners and say often, especially when you make some sacrifice, 'My Jesus, it is for the love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.' "
In each of the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima, she insisted on praying the Rosary. "Pray the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world." Lucia often repeated and emphasized what Our Lady had first recommended to her: "Yes, she wishes people to recite the Rosary; people must recite the Rosary." Our Lady asked them to add after each decade the short prayer: "Oh my Jesus forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all souls to heaven especially those most in need of Thy mercy." In the final apparition on October 13, 1917, Our Lady silently held out the scapular (the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel). Lucia had said that the Blessed Mother wants everyone to wear it: "The Scapular and the Rosary are inseparable."
Lucia spoke to Our Lady of the sick who had been recommended to her. "Yes, I shall cure some of them within the year." But she went on teaching them to pray rather for the health of souls than of bodies. "Pray! Pray a great deal and make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to Hell because they have no one to pray and make sacrifices for them."
Lucia asked Our Lady about two girls who used to come to her house that had recently died. "Is little Maria Das Neves, who died recently, in Heaven?" "Yes, she is in Heaven." . . . "and Amelia?" "She will be in Purgatory till the end of the world."
Our Lady predicted that God would work a great miracle on October 13, 1917 to prove the authenticity of the apparitions. A tremendous prodigy happened on that day just as Our Lady had promised. For four minutes, the noontime sun spun around giving off various colors, one after the other. If a person at Fatima that day had on a white shirt -- it would turn red, green and blue as the sun spun around. It stopped and started again for four more minutes, this time giving off even more beautiful colors. Then it stopped again. Then it started again. This time it detached itself from its regular position and began to zigzag in the sky. It "danced" for about four minutes, then started to plummet to the earth. It looked like it was the end of the world. Many people fell on their knees to ask for mercy of God. The sun then returned to its original position in the sky. It was witnessed by over 70,000 people who all, both believers and unbelievers, came away acknowledging that a great miracle had occurred. Several learned men present testified: "I have seen it but I cannot explain it."
BLESSED FRANCISCO'S DEATH
Francisco was struck down by the well-known Spanish influenza in December, 1918. The little patient suffered for several months always devout, and faithful to his Rosary which he recited eight or nine times a day. When he no longer had the strength to pronounce the words he said them mentally. He was extremely ill and some of the medicines he had to take were not particularly agreeable. "Yet he would take any medicine we gave him," his mother said. "He never fussed. I could never find out what he liked. If I gave him a glass of milk, he took it; and when I gave him an egg, he sucked it. Poor child! He took any bitter medicine without making a face. This gave us hope that he would recover, but he always repeated that it was useless since Our Lady was going to come for him. He knew well what was in store for him." On Thursday, April 3rd 1919, he made his First Communion on his death-bed, all radiant with happiness. On the following day, Friday, April 4th, at 10 o'clock in the evening, he died the death of the elect, with a smile on his lips. He was ten years and nine months old.
Jacinta was attacked by the Spanish plague almost at the same time as her brother Francisco. She too spoke of nothing else than of reciting the Rosary and offering sacrifices for sinners. Towards the end of January, 1920, Jacinta was taken to Lisbon to be operated upon for a persistent lung infection. There she immediately impressed all by her candor, her modesty, her great patience, her perfect submission, her continued prayer and ardent love for Holy Communion which she received every day except when prevented by illness. Many doctors came to examine Jacinta; their only thought was of science and medicine. They discounted the influence God might have on the condition of the patient. The little girl did not hesitate to set them straight on the matter, pointing out the cause of their frequent failures. "Pity doctors. They have no idea what awaits them. Doctors do not know how to treat patients with success because they have no love for God."
The Blessed Virgin continued to encourage this heroic virtue by her apparitions. One day, when Mother Godinho, Superior of the orphanage, came to see her, Jacinta asked her quite naturally: "Could you come back a little later? I am expecting the Blessed Virgin any minute!" The effects of these visits from heaven manifested themselves not only in the supernatural wisdom of the child's words, but also in her predictions. Mother Godinho one day asked Senhora Olimpia, Jacinta's mother, during a visit to the Orphanage: "Would you like your daughters Florinda and Teresa to enter the religious life?" "Heavens no!" that honest and uncomplicated woman exclaimed, and the discussion seemed at an end. A little while later, however, Jacinta, who had heard none of the conversation between the women, confided to Mother Godinho with great seriousness: "Our Lady would like my sisters to be nuns, although my mother would not approve. That is why she will take them both to heaven before very long." If this was an "irresponsible" attempt at prophecy it proved amazingly accurate, since shortly after Jacinta's own death her sisters, Florinda, seventeen, and Teresa, one year younger, followed her to the grave.
One of the doctors who attended her in Lisbon asked her to recommend him to the Blessed Virgin when she went to heaven. Jacinta promised to do so; and then looking at the doctor she said to him: "You will follow me soon!" To another doctor, who recommended himself and his daughter to her prayers, she promised to pray for them and added: "You will follow me soon; first your daughter and then yourself!" These predictions, as well as several others, were fulfilled to the letter.
What ardor did not this child of ten preach amendment of life, not only to sinners, but also to faithful souls! How she insisted on flight from sin, the practice of the Christian virtues and penance! "Oh!" she said to the Superioress of the Orphanage in Lisbon, "if men only knew what eternity is, how they would make all possible efforts to amend their lives! Dear Godmother (she addressed the Superioress in this way), mortification and sacrifice give great pleasure to Our Divine Lord! Oh! Fly luxury! Fly riches! Love holy poverty and silence. Be very charitable even towards the wicked! Never speak evil of anyone and avoid those who do. Be very patient because patience leads to heaven. Pray much for sinners! Pray much for priests, for Religious, for Governments! The sins of the world are too great! The sins which lead most souls to Hell are sins of the flesh! Certain fashions are going to be introduced which will offend Our Lord very much. Those who serve God should not follow these fashions. The Church has no fashions; Our Lord is always the same. Many marriages are not good; they do not please Our Lord and are not of God. . . . Oh! Men must do penance! If they amend their lives Our Lord will still pardon the world; but if they do not, the chastisement will come! Priests should occupy themselves only with the affairs of the Church! They must be pure, very pure." Mother Godinho asked her: "Do you know what it means to be pure?" "Yes, Yes. I know to be pure in body means to be chaste, to be pure in mind means not to commit sins; not to look at what one should not see, not to steal or lie, and always to speak the truth, even if it is hard. The disobedience of priests and of religious to their Superiors and to the Holy Father offends Our Lord very much! If the government left the Church in peace and gave liberty to our holy religion, they would be blessed by God. Our Lady said that there are many wars and discords in the world. Wars are only punishments for the sins of the world. She stated that she could not stay the arm of her Beloved Son upon the world anymore. It is necessary to do penance. If people amend themselves, Our Lord shall still come to the aid of the world. If they do not amend themselves, punishment shall come."
When Jacinta was at the orphanage in Lisbon, before she was sent to the hospital, she spent every possible moment in the chapel kneeling with her eyes riveted on the tabernacle. Seeing people in church being irreverent toward the Blessed Sacrament upset her greatly. She stated that Our Lady does not want us to talk in church. One day she heard visitors discussing faults of a certain priest who had been forbidden to say Mass. Jacinta began to weep for sorrow and she said people should not talk about priests but they should rather pray for them.
BLESSED JACINTA'S DEATH
February 20th came. Jacinta seemed about the same; she might last a few more days, she might go any moment. About six o'clock in the evening the child said she was not feeling well and she wanted to receive the last rites of the Church. A priest was called, heard her confession and promised to bring her Communion in the morning. Jacinta asked him to bring it immediately but he could see no reason for alarm. She insisted that she was to die shortly. At ten-thirty, she died peacefully without having her wish fulfilled. She had just turned ten years old. The news of the child's death spread fast through the city and crowds flocked to the church to see the body.
The undertaker testified that he never before nor after had a case like Jacinta's. "It seems to me that I can still today see the little angel. Laid in the casket she seemed to be still alive, in her full beauty with rosy cheeks and lips. I have seen many bodies in my business, young and old. Never did a thing of this sort happen to me before nor since." The pleasant aroma that exhaled from her body cannot be explained. The worst unbeliever could not question it . . . Though the child had been dead three days, the aroma was like a bouquet of flowers.
Fifteen years after Jacinta's death, her body was transferred to the cemetery of Fatima. When her casket was opened on this occasion her little body was still whole and incorrupt.
It is hoped that everyone who reads this article will become most serious about their salvation by practicing the prayers, devotions and penitential life as prescribed by Our Lady and Blessed Jacinta.

Skyfall - Angoscia [A KHR Fanfic] Chapter 2: The Pillars of Vongola
Tumblr media
Tis Bubblesss! XDD Welcome to the second chapter of Skyfall – Angoscia!
KHR does not belong to me; it belongs to the awesome Akira Amano!
- Beta'd by chewybillabong~~
Now snuggle up and enjoy!
Tsuna's heart thumped uncontrollably in his chest like a jackhammer on steroids. Tsuna swore he heard a crack from one of his ribs directly in front of his racing heart. "R-Reborn?!" He gasped in utter surprise. He did not expect him to answer his hails at all, and yet there he was, joining in the group screen meeting. Well, not exactly because he was audio only.
Both Takeshi and Hayato shared similar reactions, but their hearts were beating more like rubber hammers rather than jackhammers against their ribs. Their eyes expanded double their size, mouth agape with surprise and shock. Tsuna hoped that their eyeballs wouldn't suddenly roll out.
And then another voice came through; "Uncle? How does this game work?" a feminine voice asked, most likely asking Reborn.
Tsuna immediately recognised the voice, the voice of a girl that produces the same sky flames as him, the Decimo of the Giglio Nero Famiglia, the girl that sacrificed her life in order to revive the deceased Arcobalenos in a parallel world. "Y-Yuni-chan?!" Tsuna gaped at the audio.
"Hmm? Is that Tsuna?" There was the sound of a faint ruffle, and miraculously it could be heard over the brain-rattling background noise. "Uncle, are you calling Tsuna right now?" Yuni asked, piqued with curiosity when she heard a small voice from her Uncle's earpiece.
Reborn spoke up. "Yes, we are." He answered lightly. "I was hoping to keep our promise today, but a troublesome ex-student decided to hold an important meeting."
'After all the other meetings that I asked - pleaded you to attended, you finally decided to join!' Tsuna huffed internally. He was very annoyed and slightly angry at Reborn for ignoring all his previous calls, where all of them were as important as the one he's holding now.
Yuni's voice travelled out from the speakers again. "It's okay Uncle, you can always teach me how to gamble another time. Plus, gambling doesn't seem like my kind of thing, but it is pretty fun." She replied, completely happy to let Reborn participate in the Vongola meeting. "You've already made this a great birthday, Uncle!"
Tsuna was already shocked enough that Reborn finally decided to partake in this, and now, from what he's heard, he's introducing gambling to this little angel?! As if Gamma would allow that to happen! But then again…he hasn't heard Gamma's voice from the audio just yet.
"Reborn! Why are you letting her gamble?!" His voice rose whilst he fussed. "We all know gambling can turn into an addiction and is she even old enough-"
"Maa maa Tsuna, I'm sure they have their reasons." Takeshi cut in before they all got an earful of Tsuna's complaints about mental health and all sorts, probably moving onto something off topic along the way. He gave a quick smile for effect. He was relieved that Tsuna was still awfully wary about everyone's health, even after all these years of being in the cold and ruthless mafia world, and he was thankful for that. He hoped that his caring and kind nature won't disappear… "But teaching Yuni gambling sure is peculiar."
"Oi, shut up baseball idiot. Juudaime's right." Hayato retaliated, defending his dear boss, in which he (thinks) already wrongly offended today. He wanted to somehow compensate for his shameful actions, and keeping a sword freak quiet was one way of compensating.
A small giggle chimed from Yuni as she listened. "Tsuna-san, I'm eighteen already, and don't worry," she informed, "I'm only trying gambling because I am finally old enough to do these things." She purposely left out the fact that she's already tried a small glass alcohol earlier on too, just in case Tsuna doesn't start worrying his head off.
"Oh god, I'm so sorry Yuni-chan! I forgot that today was your eighteenth birthday." Tsuna exhaled. He pressed his right hand to his forehead and rubbed it slowly. "I guess my memory's starting to degrade too." –'I need to now shake the rust off both my HDWM and my memory.' He was going to say that he should retire, but remembering Hayato and his little episode of drama beforehand, he decided to keep quiet.
Tsuna's phone, which was placed on the table, vibrated. The screen displayed a text message from Lambo. Tsuna had previously told him that if he had any tests for school during the designated time for the meeting, education should always be his priority.
Coincidentally, being at the nostalgic age of twelve, he had many grading tests, and toady was one of those days where almost every period had a goddamn test.
Lambo: frikkin test day today. Can't join. Whatever you're thinking, go with your gut. Don't worry, I'm not texting u during a test, it's 5 min break rn.
Tsuna exerted a small sigh and placed his phone aside. "Lambo's busy." He announced to his group. 'Go with my gut feeling, huh?'
"Stupid cow." Hayato muttered in distaste. 'Idiot! Juudaime's rarely holds a meeting with all his guardians, and you don't attend!'
Before Hayato could go on a rant about how lazy and idiotic Lambo is for not joining the meeting, Tsuna averted to another topic whilst they waited for the others to appear-
Just on cue, another part of the screen flickered on, sparing Tsuna from probably going off topic. A serene scenery appeared, and a very familiar yellow bird flew from somewhere outside of the screen and landed on a shoulder.
Who's shoulder?
A voice, cold and toneless, slithered ominously out from the speakers. "Herbivore, I will bite you to death when I come back." It growled dangerously low. The person, who's wearing a black yukata, glared murderously through the screen and right through Tsuna's soul.
Tsuna felt a shiver run down his spine. "Hibari!" Tsuna exclaimed in surprise.
Indeed, it was the one and only tenth generation cloud guardian of the Vongola Famiglia.
'Does Hibari usually introduce himself with a threat?' Tsuna questioned himself. He has long grown out of shaking in fear whenever Hibari appeared. This was possibly due to the fact that Hibari has already lost countless times to Tsuna when sparring with him, maybe also because he's already been with him for more than seven years. During those years, he's seen a lot of his guardian's raw emotions, including Hibari's (which Tsuna promised not to tell anyone).
Though a certain storm guardian was not going to take that threat lightly. "Bastard! Did you just threaten Juudaime!?" Hayato vexed with anger. "How dare you!" He clenched his fists tightly and took a firm step towards Hibari's screen.
Takeshi overlooked the situation with slight amusement. He always does. "Gokudera, calm down." He called, but Hayato refused to listen. Hayato continued the glaring competition with the independent cloud.
Hibari glared death at Hayato's advancing figure. "I will bite you to death after I bite that herbivore to death." He seethed with vicious threat.
"Like hell that's going to hap-" Hayato was going to shoot back a sharp reply, but immediately fell silent after Tsuna commanded him to stop, almost like an obedient puppy.
"Gokudera! Shh!" Tsuna hissed, but gently. 'Why is my family still so hard to manage, even after all these years?' sighing, he thought about how synchronised Dino's men are compared to his. His guardians are like barbaric animals compared to them. "Ah, um… Hibari, why do you want to bite me to death…Do you not like the mission I gave you to go to Japan?" He asked, voice ending higher to signify that he was diffident about his question.
Tsuna swore he heard Reborn stifle a laugh. He was missing something important.
There was no reply, so instead, he continued elaborating. "Did something happen? Did I forget something-" That seemed to strike something. The muscle under Hibari's right eye twitched slightly with annoyance.
Takeshi observed the background to Hibari's screen carefully, then gave a small laugh as he figured something out; possibly why Hibari wanted to bite Tsuna to death. His lifted his eyebrows in amusement. "Ahahaaa~!" He laughed heartily, "It's been so long since then Hibari-san! Are you still-"
Hibari's now frightening gaze immediately snapped towards the rain guardian, as if telling him to shut up or else things were going to happen. And those things would be painful.
Sad thing is that this is a video conference and each of them were in different places around the globe, so he couldn't slip out his tonfas and start beating some proper discipline into those disobedient herbivores. But since screen travel isn't in fully working order yet (Giannini's actually inventing the device – though it's probably going to be very dodgy), he spared one last murderous look towards Takeshi.
Never did the group know that a pair of secretive mists were already watching all this action from the very start. "Ara ara~ never knew this skylark still cowers from Cherry Blossoms~" A tall, lean person with the signature midnight blue pineapple hair-do gracefully emerged from a purple mist behind Tsuna's seat and stepped into the open. He trailed a hand possessively around Tsuna's shoulder and under his chin, smoothly skimming his neck with brisk fingers. "Heh~"
All Gokudera could see was a long whisk of dark blue hair that trailed from a figure dressed in black, before finally realising that his dear boss was taken hostage by a damned old pineapple. "What the fuck!" He unintentionally swore from shock.
Tsuna wasn't exactly surprised that his mist guardians travelled back from Russia via their handy mist travel, in fact he already knew they were in the room through his Hyper Intuition. But for Mukuro to suddenly wrap his arms around him almost like a protective python? Oh hell no.
"M-Mukuro!" Tsuna gasped because of the hand that was touching his neck, then his mind wondered off to what Mukuro mentioned- 'Hibari doesn't like Cherry Blossoms?-' Then he remembered the time when Mukuro was still their enemy and how Hibari got injected with Cherryitis. 'Oh…I forgot…and it's April too…Oops.' He grimaced, 'But I'll deal with that later!'
His eyes flickered down and saw a trident's tip advancing towards the exposed skin on his neck, dangerously accurate. Without hesitation, he grabbed the hand with a firm hold and smashed it harder than anticipated on the table in front. If his hand didn't immediately pin Mukuro's other hand against the table, he would have been pricked by his small trident, which would mean that Mukuro would've successfully possessed him.
"Oya~ I thought I was going to succeed this time." The mist guardian purred. "You're getting stronger, young Vongola, and that just makes me want your body more~" He gave a satisfied smirk and hopped back, freeing his arm in the process.
Hayato's fuse finally broke. He failed. He was a failure as the right hand man to the world's boss of the strongest mafia Famiglia. "YOU BASTARDDD!" He broke into a run, charging with pure hatred and rage towards the idiot that dared to touch his boss, and he didn't care if he was the mist guardian or not.
The room wasn't that big, and with the speed of a professional Mafioso, he could've tackled Mukuro in less than a second. But Tsuna was definitely not going to let that happen, considering how much of a pacifist he is. And he simply hated his guardians hurting each other. He never really liked this mafia business from the very beginning, but since Primo's blood was flowing through his veins, it made him awfully good at all this even if he didn't like it.
Tsuna kicked back in his leather chair so that it wheeled right between raging Hayato and smirking Mukuro. Hayato, of course, couldn't react fast enough to stop, but Tsuna expected that.
Just as the silverette was going to ram into Tsuna who was calmly sitting down in his chair, the brunette grasped the other's arm with soft precision. Using his other hand, he gently palmed Hayato's stomach which, adding to the momentum of him charging, caused him to flip into the air, his legs forming a graceful arc. In a split second later, Hayato changed from a raging storm that was going to beat the crap out of Mukuro, to a stunned octopus standing upright on the other side of Tsuna's office chair.
Hayato blinked. He was sure he was going to bang right into Tsuna, yet he was standing still, completely balanced, next to him. "Gah." He felt as if he went to heaven and back for a moment. 'JUUDAIME JUST DID SOMETHING AMAZING! A-and…woah…' He swayed on his legs before staggering forwards, slumping against the wall next to the loathed pineapple. His resentment for him hasn't ebbed away just yet.
"Juudaime, why do you still trust this guy? He might turn out like Daemon." He fumed. "He's going to grab your body and betray us." Hayato has been extremely touchy about this subject ever since Daemon's 'visit', and no one really blamed him for suspecting Mukuro, but that doesn't mean they agree with him either.
Tsuna glanced at Hayato, unhanding Hayato's arm as he previously staggered away, and smiled slightly. "Gokudera, it's ok. Mukuro isn't Daemon." He stated firmly. "I trust him, like I do with all of you too."
Hayato side-glanced with minor embarrassment, forming a small pout on his lips. He was Tsuna's all-knowing right hand man yet his boss was indirectly pointing out his flaws. He pressed his brows down, forming a flustered frown. Instead of wallowing in his discomfiture, he averted his attention to Mukuro. "Tch, If only I can punch you in the face for what you've done."
"Please, no violence." Tsuna exclaimed wryly, "Hibari, I'm sorry for making you go to Japan. So please calm down." He wheeled himself back to his table and rested his elbows on top, a boss-like posture.
Hibari indeed did look like he was going murder the entire population of pineapples, face twisted into a ruthless growl, mouth pulled into a line as taught as a drawn bow. But the hunter instincts in him clicked, telling him that if he doesn't settle down he will be the one hunted instead.
Tsuna held the video conference as a meeting, not a simple gathering and he's about had enough of the drama. As nice and caring as he is, his years as boss made him somehow relentless.
"Chrome, we'll discuss your trip to Russia later on, but for now, please come out. I need your opinion on this matter too." - 'Because we're a family, after all. I can't leave you out even if Mukuro's already here.'
Reborn gave an impressed grunt, and Yuni could be heard 'wowing' in the background at how boss-like Tsuna acted just then. It was like Tsuna had finally turned into a decent boss. They seemed to have moved from the noisy casino to a place without all the interfering cacophony.
A female appeared out from a cluster purple mist, similar to Mukuro's, and nodded her head with acknowledgement towards everyone. "Bossu…we're back. The information we received was odd." She informed briefly. Chrome, dressed in her light purple spring casual wear, took her respective place next Mukuro.
A few seconds of impregnable silence passed, but Takeshi broke it. "Hmm," he hummed, leaning back in his comfy and spacious first-class seat. "I guess it's only Sasagawa senpai now." He indicated unobtrusively.
"Tch, stupid turf-top." Hayato rested a leg across the other and crossed his arms. "Keeping us waiting." He muttered.
"Well, he is the busiest out of all of us, being the 'healer' and all. He's been travelling to places to people in desperate need of being healed." Tsuna defended his sun guardian righteously. Ryohei was indeed the busiest out of all of them, excluding Tsuna of course. Tsuna was busy, but just not in a way where he used his flames excessively until his body gave out.
As if coincidences have graced the Vongola for the day, Tsuna's phone rang, buzzing obnoxiously loud on the table. He instinctively reached out for his phone, thinking, 'whoever is calling my personal number…something must've happened to them.' He nearly dropped it when he saw that it was Ryohei calling.
This meant something bad. His guardians would only call him in the case of extreme situations, and when he means extreme, he means fractured bones, internal and external bleeding, things aren't going as planned, war or possibly even a kidnapper bantering for something in exchange for a hostage – i.e, one of his guardians.
He was almost afraid to pick up, but if he didn't he would possibly be putting a life in danger. Ryohei's life. Tsuna would rather jump off a cliff all chained up rather than putting his guardians in danger.
His family is everything to him, his treasure, his pride, his hope, his life.
Before the phone would fully slip out his hand due to how weak and shaky it got all of a sudden, he pushed his finger resolutely down on the big, fat, green button, almost like the judgement swing of a gavel. He brought his hand up hesitantly, pressing the phone lightly against his ear.
The guardians may seem completely uncaring towards each other's wellbeing and hardhearted, not considerate and being complete assholes when someone did something they didn't like (excluding Tsuna himself, Ryohei and Takeshi; they were always cool with each other), they were quite similar to Tsunderes. They may look constantly pissed on the outside, but inside, they really do care.
Despite everyone's stern expression, each of them fidgeted slightly in some way when Tsuna reached for his ringing phone.
Tsuna opened his mouth, hesitating and taking in a breath before shakily breathing out, introducing himself over the phone. "H-hello, Sawada Tsunayoshi spea-" But before he could finish it, a voice erupted from the phone, cutting in.
"Ah! Good afternoon to the EXTREME Sawada!..." A belated, flamboyant and loud voice shouted louder than needed. "I apologise for calling you instead of EXTREMELY finding my laptop-" a stifled loud yawn rang through, breaking the sentence. "I'm feeling too EXTREMELY tired right now…to even keep my eyes open."
Hearing the voice of his energetic sun guardian being completely fine (only a little tired – actually, maybe very tired), and not writhing in pain, lifted ten tonnes from his shoulders and heart. He sighed, eyes fluttering to a close in pure relief.
Though, he wasn't particularly glad that Ryohei was tired to the point where he can't even keep his eyes open, considering how much of a lively and energetic person he is.
"It's…it's fine. Oh god Ryohei, you gave me a huge scare just then." Tsuna let your breath out of relief. He slouched back into his chair, shaking subsiding a little. "I'll connect you to the interface, give me a sec…"
With great effort, he heaved himself from his seat and walked over to a slick black box with cables protruding from it. He found the cable that could connect with his phone and plugged it in. Within a few milliseconds, the link was secured and an audio-only interface appeared on one of the monitors.
The guardians calmed down too; Hayato took in a slow breath, then exhaling just as slowly, body relaxing against the wall. Hibari leant back and propped back a hand, looking his usual 'Don't annoy me' resting face though his gaze was still sending death threats to the idiotic long-haired pineapple. Mukuro only smirked, as mysterious as ever. Takeshi gave a distinct sigh before putting on a smile again.
"Ahh…Sorry for being late guys, I just arrived at the hotel EXTREMELY tired." Ryohei exclaimed stridently, though obviously sounding very weary. There was a faint ruffle, the sound of a wooden chair being dragged then a 'plop'.
"Ok, well then." Tsuna returned to his seat, gracefully sitting down and finally taking out the envelope after nearly half an hour of waiting in his inner breast pocket. "Gokudera. Come here." He called imperatively, holding out the letter out to him. "The meeting is now starting."
Hayato pushed himself from the wall and uncrossed his arms, slipping out his reading glasses. He stood sternly next his boss and took the letter, briskly taking out the letter from the envelope. The room was no longer filled with its previous clatter of triviality, instead, the atmosphere did a 180 and it was now saturated with formality.
And Hayato started reading.
It was around 6 PM when Ryohei woke up again, and by then the meeting had finished ages ago. Streaks of elongated light which had found its way past the curtains marred the carpet, almost like fresh scars against skin. The sun guardian found himself slumped on top of the roll-top desk which he sat at just after he called Tsuna.
Ryohei uttered a small groan as he lifted his head up, and it felt like lead. "Ahh…I must have EXTREMELY fallen asleep during the meeting..." he pointed out to himself. He could feel himself dozing off again, back to the wonderful realm of sleep, but he wasn't going to let that happen just yet, not until he checks his phone for important messages.
Slapping his bandaged hands to his face with force, he made sure his cheeks stung enough to keep him awake. Tiredly reaching out a hand, he slowly reached out for his phone and reeled it back in as if his hand was a fishing rod that has caught a big and adamant fish.
He sluggishly manoeuvred his fingers around the edge, searching for the power button, and when he finally found it, he pushed. The screen immediately burst on, streaming with blinding light.
"Gah! Too bright!"
He squinted and indeed, there were messages. Quite a few messages from Hayato about the content of the meeting which he missed half of, and surprisingly, one from Takeshi.
Takeshi never texts. He usually doesn't have much to say, and if so, he would use some other sort of media.
'Well, this better be something EXTREMELY interesting…'
He selected Takeshi's message, inputted his million letter long password, and then read.
I have a bad feeling about Tsuna going to the meeting. Get back to the Vongola mansion as soon as possible. I think we need a doctor on site just in case…
'We need a doctor.' Was the first thing Ryohei noticed. He was definitely confused. But over the years, he's learnt that Takeshi had the potential as a hitman, possibly even as strong as Reborn, and he's possibly even more observant than an eagle.
Touché! I get that organised early tom morn.
Before his eyelids' muscles were going to give out, he put one last effort into pressing 'send' and as he did, his head helplessly clashed with the table top, returning to his long, tiresome journey of replenishing his flames.
Depending on how much I write, next chapter will be quite eventful ;P It will take about 2 – 3 weeks, as assignments are drowning me.

Your Tuesday Briefing – The New York Times
Middle powers tackle diplomatic void
Middle-power countries like Australia and others in Europe and Asia are forging new bonds from what they have learned from the coronavirus pandemic: that the risks of China’s authoritarian government can no longer be denied, and that the U.S. cannot be relied on to lead.
Australia, for example, has become the sudden leader of a push to bolster international institutions, after it called for a World Health Organization inquiry into the origins of the pandemic. Europe has joined the effort.
The call for an investigation infuriated Beijing, which has rejected criticism of its initial response to the coronavirus. The move, indicative of Australia’s greater willingness to confront China, has shaken up global diplomacy.
“For the rules-based international order to mean anything, it needs to be upheld,” said one Australian lawmaker. “If the world doesn’t respond and act now, when will it ever act?”
Looking ahead: The middle-power alliances might be short-lived, but they could also offer an alternative to the dynamic between the world’s two superpowers.
Here are the latest coronavirus updates and maps tracking the outbreak.
Underreporting the virus toll in Russia
President Vladimir Putin is ending a nationwide “nonworking period” today, claiming success on curbing the spread of the coronavirus. The government has boasted of a low coronavirus mortality rate, confounding researchers who compared it with that of other countries with underfunded health systems.
But new data released by Moscow’s city government on Friday shows that the number of registered deaths there in April exceeded the five-year average for the same period by more than 1,700 — a sharp contrast with the official coronavirus death count of 642.
Scope: Other countries also possibly underreporting are Belarus, whose leader has rejected calls for a lockdown, and Mexico, where officials have recorded three times as many deaths in the capital as the government has acknowledged.
For example, new proposals encourage those unable to work from home to return to their workplaces — but also to avoid public transportation. People will be advised to wear face coverings in some stores and on public transit — but they are not obliged to.
Political leaders in Scotland and Wales have already rejected parts of the strategy.
Some schools may reopen next month. But, with many parents still concerned, there is no guarantee students will actually attend. Even in classrooms for vulnerable children and the children of essential workers that have remained open, the turnout has been low.
Context: Mr. Johnson’s new strategy is notably laissez-faire in balancing health and economic risks, leaving more to personal judgment — reminiscent, critics say, of his approach in the pandemic’s early stages.
If you have some time, this is worth it
Human endurance and the Silk Road
Over the Silk Road’s centuries of history, humanity faced horrors from plague to cholera. Still, the trade route — and spirit of discovery — continued. The stories about the road in the latest Travel issue of T, The Times’s style magazine, were in the works long before the pandemic — but they still hold lessons for the way forward. Above, Zhangye Danxia National Geopark in Gansu.
“Let us find some comfort,” writes Hanya Yanagihara, T’s editor in chief, “in the knowledge that we are preceded by centuries of human endurance, those travelers who remind us that every journey, no matter how difficult, ends with our finding our way back.”
Read the issue here.
Here’s what else is happening
Iran friendly-fire incident: A missile fired Sunday from an Iranian Navy frigate struck another Iranian naval vessel during a military exercise in the Sea of Oman, killing at least 19 sailors — the second time this year that Iran appeared to have fired a deadly missile at the wrong target.
What we’re reading: This widely shared look at the science of coronavirus transmission by an immunology expert, Erin Bromage. “A clear, deep and fascinating roundup of the state of the science,” writes Andrea Kannapell, the Briefings editor.
Now, a break from the news
Cook: A cozy vegetable-sausage soup. Make up a big pot, brimming with roots and greens from the crisper, for a little bit of comfort.
And now for the Back Story on …
Rising levels of pandemic stress
As shelter-in-place orders drag on, the journalists Francesca Donner and Corinne Purtill had a conversation about the hard-to-ignore rising levels of stress. Below is an edited and condensed excerpt. You can sign up for the In Her Words newsletter here.
Corinne: Hi, Francesca. We’re now — let me check my notes here — about seven and a half years into home quarantine. How are you doing?
Francesca: Well, technically fine. But it’s been well over a month since my kids stopped going to school and I stopped going to the office, and we officially stopped seeing people other than a grocery worker here or there. Not to point out the obvious, but it starts to wear you down. You?
Corinne: Same. On good days, I remember to be grateful that my family is healthy, and we have a safe place to stay. But I still liked it better back when I had all that stuff and I could go wherever I wanted.
Francesca: You can see people starting to unravel. A LeanIn.Org survey out this week suggests women are experiencing stress at up to twice the rate of men. And being under this pressure makes us — women and men — do and say things that, well, we might not normally do. Parents shouting at kids. Adults shouting at each other.
One friend of mine said she threw her husband’s clothes out of the window because he left them on the floor. She said it was extremely cathartic.
Corinne: Oh my God. I think I just snorted my coffee through my nose.
Francesca: Corinne, is there anything you do to manage your stress?
Corinne: I leave my house. On foot. Once a day. It doesn’t really matter where I go. I walk or run, I feel air on my skin, I take a break from doing and just be. You?
Francesca: Hikes with my family. Every day. Rain or shine.
That’s it for this briefing. Enjoy this Little Richard tribute. See you next time.

YAY CHRIST
Dear Christ,
Thank You.
Thank You for knowing how I really feel, and showing me that You care. Even though in times I may feel like I’m just an insignificant prick, still Lord You care even for the smallest of my needs.
With Love (that is never comparable to Yours),
Yu Qian.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello Tumblr! It’s me again oh yeah. It’s actually quite some time since I’ve posted. And that’s a bad sign - because it means I’m actually not as motivated enough to note down what God has been teaching and how He wants to mould and bless me. But, fret not! I’m here today. Haha.
Truth be told, been feeling rather meh about things recently, maybe for the past few weeks? ‘Meh’ is the word to describe it because I had so many things on hand to be accomplished, and it felt like there was no end. The week before recess week was manageable physically but not mentally because of the different tests and events that was happening. Same for recess week, comparing to the last semester, recess week was not, not, not a holiday this time round - also filled with many, many activities. Even for this week, it seems like there is no end. Maybe because it’s Monday. HAHA. But I’m thankful, because there is a switch in my attitude this week, at the very least, as compared to the last two weeks. I came to realise this ‘meh’ feeling was actually a reflection of a “restless heart”. Trust me - this description would not have came to my mind if I didn’t chance upon the picture on thir.st on Instagram. The moment I saw that picture, it felt like the Holy Spirit was prompting me on the condition of my heart. The post’s description went like this: ““I just wanted to disappear. Specifically, I wanted to disappear to an isolated and desolate place that reflected how I felt inside.” said Holly Baxter, who spent five weeks along the Trans-Siberian Railway in Russia. Our anxious and restless running-away from our feverish heart reflect an absence of peace within, and not merely the difficulty from our challenges. Something’s off on in inside. And we would place a stethoscope our hearts, what will it say about the state of our souls? Unfulfilled and conflicting desires are the cause of our unrest. When our desires get out of control, they become our worst enemy. Don’t let your desires pull you in all directions and keep you going nowhere.”
Hahaha. Those italics, really nailed it for me man. (Thank You God for the reminder that time.) Thus, I kinda struggled in the past two weeks, wrestling with thoughts like, “Why am I doing all this for, is it really for You?”, “I don’t feel that refreshed or burdened any more to do Your work.”, “I want to hear You more but it seems difficult to do so.” and countless times of “It’s so tiring, I need a break.” However, even before seeing the post, when I was worshipping during Saturday service in church, and the song “I Simply Live For You” came out, I had to be honest that it was difficult to sing along the lines of “I simply live, I simply live for You”. That’s when I felt God just reminding me that, all of the ministries I am in, shouldn’t revolve on what I’m doing or giving, but should be focused on how it can bring God the glory He deserves. On how these different ministries and responsibilities (e.g. POP Excel, NTU-CF, cell, family, student) actually belong to Him too. All I need to do, is follow in His footsteps and His guidance even as I flow in these different areas. To simply remind myself that I’m living for God first, and surrender all that I have to Christ, knowing everything comes from Him.
I think it was that night (or the following night) that I saw the post by thir.st too, and when I did my quiet time, it talked about Esther, on how she was a lady who was beautiful inside out, and how God looks not just at the outer appearance, but what’s inside the heart (1 Sam 16:7). Again, with the prompting of the Holy Spirit, I realised it’s time to ask God to fix my heart again first. And today, when I continued on Esther, it talked about how Esther fasted and prayed to God for three days before coming before the king to make a difficult request to spare the Jews and not execute them. Even though, Esther did display courage and wisdom in her decisions (along with Mordecai), but the greatest characteristic that she displayed was faith. The material that I used included, “Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible.”, then quoted Matthew 7:7-8, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Basically, this verse was something that I have been praying for the past few weeks and holding on to as well because I’m seeking God in terms of making a decision. Or even just wisdom from You in terms of my assignments (e.g. studying for the sake of? You!!! Your plans for me in the future perhaps), my friends (how to speak wisely and reflect You in my conversations with them), my rest (and how I may let my physical body in a good shape to serve You) etcetera, I would love to commit all of them into Your hands. Hence, the appearance of this verse just made me realise that God is always here to listen to my prayers (even in times when I think He’s not responding and not there). It’s like, I just discovered that my heart is not right and would like to set it right before you again, to realise that You have already gone before me to provide for what I need. Thank You for enabling me to marvel that all that You have done for me, and for assuring me that I can always rely on You, my Daddy God, on You, my previous Saviour, and on You, the wise Counsellor. With this assurance, Lord, I will wait for Your response in regard to my decision, and continue to seek You during this period of my life of all different areas, knowing that You’re the Lord of all, and declaring You as my Jehovah-Nissi - the Lord our banner of Victory. Thank You Lord!
God Bless and Cheers,
Yu Qian (1.30am on 13 Mar 18)
p.s. This post is named YAY CHRIST because I just created a short playlist on Youtube to play a few songs I felt like listening to and I named that playlist YAY CHRIST too out of how God has just poured joy in me. Let me share with you these songs that I have been listening to recently, they are good (hence in the playlist duh :P): Reign In Us, Give Me Faith, Into The Deep, Sovereign Over Us and By Faith. Highly recommended to listen for all!!! Lyrics are sincere too.
Also, let me quote some lyrics from “Give Me Faith” that speaks into my current situation:
Give me faith to trust what you say That you're good and your love is great I'm broken inside, I give you my life
...
'Cause I may be weak But Your spirit strong in me My flesh may fail My God you never will
