MF: At this year’s Oscar ceremony, Coppola for the first time ever publicly recognized Robert Evans contributions to ‘The Godfather.’ Can you talk about their relationship in the series and what it was like for you to work with Matthew Goode?

DF: If Matthew is not nominated (for an Emmy), then there's something wrong with the world. I had a front row seat. There's something that happened to me playing Coppola, which was, I'm playing a director. I had such a love of the ensemble of all their performances. I was just sitting there impressed. I just couldn't help but root them on and be a coach for them. Anytime someone was like, "I feel nervous or whatever." I was like, no. You are amazing. I was there for them for the support. Especially Matthew, because he's a Brit. What he's doing is he's just sinking into that, disappearing into that, and becoming Bob Evans. I think that he's amazing.

On the show, I'm playing a great admiration for the Evans because he's giving us a chance here. He's just a huge coach for everybody, but in a real life, that contention really spiraled out of control. There’re so many egos and there's telegrams that I found, between Evans and Coppola when they were starting to do ‘The Godfather Part II.’ They're just scathing, and a lot of feelings were hurt.

Here's the thing. Coppola had this vision and he saw only one person as the Don, and he wanted Brando. He thought that was a long shot. Then when he got Brando, it was just like, "Okay, well then I want Pacino, that's my only choice." So, he became like, "It's my vision, let me see my vision to the end. There's something here."

He butts heads with Evans at every point on the road. So, I guess they did butt heads a bit about that. That's in the show, and those scenes are a lot of fun, but I think my favorite stuff to play is when they're working together, getting along, and Evans walks in and is just like a knight in shining armor. He just saves the day. There’re a couple moments like that. Those are my favorite moments, the celebratory moments where we're all winning, and the musketeers are working together.

What Did I Watch: #22

Nothing.

Kidding.

I watched too many western series. Thanks to Skam and all of its remakes. I decided to just not caring about kdramas, cdramas and thai dramas. New challenge and new territory, that's all I need. But obviously we can't just go away from the things that shaped us. Below I've listed all the series that I watched on the past weeks.

Skam France

I kinda wish to watch all of the Skam's remakes that is out there but it was hard. Like I struggled a lot with using google drive and so on just to download the episode. I had to save it in my cloud drive for re-watch purpose. But still, it was too damn inconvenient for someone that used to this kind of stuff back when I was a little bit younger. Right now, I just hope the show that I want to watch available in any streaming services.

Yet, there's a reward for every effort that we put. Those shows are freaking good. I could biased because I love the original one. But nope. I legit thinking Skam France shot in film camera because it was flawless. And the acting in wtFock made me in awe. These kids were first-timers and still they even better than any teenager actors that I came across before this. Gosh. What a joy just to find a show which trigger you in a good way and taught me in life better than a freaking preacher.

God, I miss Axel.

Eyewitness

I was bored okay. And tumblr gives me this weird algorithm and then I found this little gem. The perfect epitome of 'be gay, do crime'. I feel inclined to have the show more into noir-ish vibe but then, it didn't go there. I want to like it so bad but the camera language was terrible at times. When I look at on who's the director, well it's the least surprising name out there. Ha.

Abbott Elementary

Actually this is the first time I finished a whole season of sitcom. And thank god, it was funny enough for me to continue.

Meng Hua Lu

On hold indefinitely. Its feminism point of view felt too unrealistic. Plus, they weren't willingly to go there for the sake of censorship. Fortunately the romance, for the first time, was actually make sense and look at that shot. Beautiful. Stunning. Gorgeous.

The Summer I Turned Pretty

Team Connie all the way. We all should just make older siblings union. He deserves all the hugs in the world. I relate to him, me, a 27 years old spinster, relate to a freaking teenage angsty boy. He had a lot of baggage and I couldn't imagine when Susannah really really [redacted] how bad he can be.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

WHAT A FINALE.

Thank God I could live long enough to see this. To see Deborah Chow performed magic on my screen. To look at Hayden Christensen back as Vader, my fucking role model. Yes you read it right. Darth Vader is someone I'm aspire to be. And Ewan McGregor, hands down this is Emmy-nominated performance yall. Come on. COME. ON.

Maybe it was nostalgia or whatever. It was clearly a nostalgia that brought us to our screen, to increase our expectations, and to connect with a certain joy which probably last appeared more than decades ago. It was nostalgia and legacy, whichever it is, evidently set me up into this journey that led to Star Wars. A great reminder I was build like this because of Star Wars. The interest which initiated early by my father. The very first movie that I watched before I knew anything else is A New Hope and that memories engraved deeply in my heart. So, by watching Obi-Wan and absorbed any kind of life values contained in it, felt like a full circle to me. Everything is finally coming back to its own place.

And let's remind people, you can't create someone more tragic than the life of Anakin Skywalker. No one could ever come close to him.

(Im not the hugest fan of rule 63 characters like leia ren, carla winchester or sunny wukong, but for some reason mercuria hit me in a soft spot {no, not that soft spot you pervs (≖_≖ )} and i really liked some stuff between her and jaune, and so she's from now on a part of jaune's massive harem here in my blog, and this will be her first appearance, although i want to make something later just for her)

*CEM(N), JNPR and RWBY are out in a forest for a field mission*

Emerald: ugh...i can’t believe it's finally over. If i ever see those kids again i’ll either kill myself or kill them.

Mercuria: then you better let your testament ready, we still have to take a trip back to beacon with them, have you forgot?

Emerald: *head falls in depression*

Cinder: focus, we can’t let anyone notice us before our plan is complete, and if that means that we’ll need to be friendly with those eight then we’ll have to bear it for now.

Emerald: i know, it's just...how can they be so happy all the time?

Mercuria: *with a grin* dunno, how can you be so annoying all the time?

Emerald: shut up mercuria! I'm not in the mood for that!

Mercuria: come and make me.

Emerald: you...

Cinder: if you two don’t stop right now, i’ll get rid of both. *flares the flame in her right eye*

Emerald: r-right, im sorry.

Mercuria: sorry.

Cinder: *sighs* forget about it, just stop bickering.

Cinder: it won’t take long until we reach the meeting point, don’t drop your facade, no matter how unbearable they are.

Mercuria: i don't like him, he’s too much of a spineless coward for my liking, we all studied he and his team, we know how innocent and pure he is, i just think i could have some fun teasing him.

Mercuria: come on, you saw how he blushed when i showed a little bit of cleavage back on the ship, i wonder what other faces he can do.

Emerald: you’re not going to start are you?

Mercuria: for real now emmy, are you going to say that he doesn’t interest you in any way?

Emerald: physically speaking, he seems decent enough, everything else is just uninteresting, he’s too much of a goody two shoes for me, if he had at least one evil bone in his body i could have some interest, but since he doesn’t i’m not interested.

Mercuria: what about you boss? What do you think about arc?

Cinder: just like emerald said, he’s physically decent enough, but everything else about him is just uninteresting. he’s stupid, coward, weak and sickeningly kind, i could never have interest in someone like him.

Mercuria: thought so.

Emerald: you’re not really planning to get involved with arc are you? You know we have our own plans to focus right?

Mercuria: nah, i was just thinking it could be fun to tease him. If i ever get interested in a boy he would need to be cruel, dominant, sadistic and merciless, he would basically need to be arc’s direct opposite.

Emerald: that does sounds more like your kind of man.

Mercuria: not only my kind, i know you two have the same taste for men as i do.

Emerald: mens like this don’t exist. They are either corrupted cowards or completely insane psychos, a man who can be both good looking, strong and cruel to the right degree is probably rarer than a maiden.

Cinder: and that's why you should stop talking about mens and start thinking more about our plans, it's not like any of us will ever find someone like this.

Mercuria: well, i can dream can’t i?

Emerald: dream later, we arrived. *walks inside a clearing to see all members of team RWBY injured on the ground*

Cinder: *with a fake concerned tone* what happened? Are you okay?

Yang: *coughs weakly* a group of five mercenaries showed up out of nowhere and sent a barrage of explosives in our direction.

Pyrrha: we heard the explosions and found them like this.

Ren: apparently they were fighting the mercenaries before we got there.

Nora: we managed to pick them up and run away, but jaune stayed back to hold them.

Emerald: where is he now?

Pyrrha: we don’t know exactly, somewhere towards north.

Cinder: we’re going after him, don’t worry. *bolts away*

*a few minutes later*

Mercuria: you think he’s still alive?

Emerald: he’s facing five mercenaries on his own, he’s for sure dead right now.

Cinder: still, if we bring arc back alive they will trust us more easily, and that can help in our plans.

Mercuria: so we kick some asses and save the blondie, sounds good to me.

???: AAAHHHHH!!!

Emerald: over there!

Mercuria: bye bye arc, it was good while it lasted.

Cinder: even if arc is dead, let's at least capture the mercenaries so- *freezes*

Mercuria: .........i think we won’t be able to capture them. *starting at the three corpses on the ground, the first one with a large gash on the stomach and guts spilling out, the second with the head split in half and the third was cut in half by the torso.*

???: i’ll ask you one last time. Who. sent. you?

CEM: *looks ahead to see jaune without his chestplate, with ragged clothes and covered in blood while two mercenaries backed away fearfully from him*

Mercenary 1: *holding the bleeding stump that was once his right arm* n-no one sent us, p-please just let us g- *sword pierces his mouth and through the back of his head*

Emerald: is that really jaune arc?

Mercuria: i don’t know.

Jaune: *kicks the now dead body and pulls out his sword, glaring at the last mercenary*

Mercenary 2: *backing up on the ground with a terrified expression* w-wha- he was telling the truth! W-we don’t work for anyone! We just bait huntsmans here to steal them!

Jaune: *slowly walking towards him* ohh but i know he was talking the truth.

Mercenary 2: *panicked* t-then why did you killed him!?

Jaune: *grabs him by the throat and slams him against a tree* do you know who i am?

Mercenary 2: w-what? O-o-of course not.

Jaune: my name is jaune arc, son of alexander arc and grandson of john arc.

Mercenary 2: arc? B-but they are a family of heroes.

Jaune: i know...

Mercenary 2: how can someone like you be part of that fami-AAARGGH!!

Jaune: *with his sword through the mercenary’s left shoulder and twisting it slowly* don’t interrupt me when i'm talking, okay?

Mercuria: *blushes* w-when did he got so...

Emerald: dominant? *also blushing* cruel? I have no idea.

Mercenary 2: *nods frantically*

Jaune: yes the arcs are most known as a family of kind hearted heroes, but i’ll let you know a little secret about us. *smirks darkly* once you hurt someone dear to us, we set the honor, the kindness and the mercy aside and turn into vengeful blood-thirsty monsters. *starts to twist his sword again with an unsettling smirk*

Mercenary 2: AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Cinder: something is wrong, when did arc became so *blushes* attractive?

Jaune: do you understand now? Why did i killed your friends and why i’m doing this to you? *tightens the grip on his neck*

Mercenary 2: YES!! I UNDERSTAND!! PLEASE JUST LET ME GO!!

Jaune: ............okay. *let go him*

Mercenary 2: *falls on the ground coughing before looking back at him surprised*

Jaune: what?

Mercenary 2: y-you’re not going to kill me?

Jaune: no. *sheathes sword*

Mercenary 2: *confused* r-really?

Jaune: i already said that no, i won’t kill you. and an arc never goes back on his word.

Mercuria: *sighs* i knew it was too good to be true.

Mercenary 2: t-thank you. *gets up and tries to run but gets yanked back falling on the ground* wha-AAHHHH!!

Jaune: *stomping his legs, breaking both of them*

CEM: *eyes widen in surprise*

Mercenary 2: AAARRGHH!! I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU WOULDN’T KILL ME!?!?

Jaune: and i won’t kill you *smirks pointing at a ursa coming towards them* but i can’t say the same for him.

Mercenary 2: w-wait! Nononono! Please-

Jaune: *grabs him by the hem of his shirt* fun fact, ursas have a extremely painful bite, and they chew a lot too. *smirk gets wider* Hope you two have fun. *throws him at the ursa*

Mercenary 2: NOOO!! PLEASE!! *gets bitten in the shoulder* AAAHHHH!! *gets dragged back into the forest*

Jaune: *still smirking* bye-bye you fucker. *turns around* now i need to get back to- *freezes*

CEM: *staring at his ragged post-battle form covered in blood*

Cinder: *grabs him by what's left of his hoodie and pulls him into a heated kiss*

Pyrrha: they’re taking too long, shouldn’t we search for them?

Ren: but we can leave them like this.

Ruby: we’re already better, our aura healed most of the damage.

Weiss: go search them, we’ll be fine.

Pyrrha: okay *gets up* we’ll be right ba-

Jaune/CEM: we’re back.

Pyrrha: thank god, are you oka- *stares at jaune covered in bruises, blood and hickeys and CEM in a similar state while smiling brightly*

Ruby: err...what happened?

Cinder: the mercenaries were tougher than we expected, it took us a while to take them down.

Blake: and where are they?

Emerald: they escaped, unfortunately.

Yang: oookaay...but why are you all covered in hickeys?

Mercuria: they had some kind of gun that was really powerful, our aura protected us from the real damage but the bullets still marked us wherever they hit.

Weiss: really? Because none of us saw any guns with them when they attacked us.

Mercuria: i know right? Those guns came out of nowhere. we tried to take the mercenaries down quickly but they kept coming back, we put them down several times but they just kept coming and coming *drooling with a perverted smile a blush* and coming and coming and coming *shivers* until we couldn’t take anymore.

RWBY/NPR: *raises eyebrow*

Cinder: *hugging jaune’s arm* but thanks to jaune we managed to win them, he was just like one of those heroes we see in the movies.

Emerald: *hugging his other arm* yeah, he really was.

Weiss: *sighs* whatever, we don’t have time to deal with this, we’re all dirty and tired so can we just take the bullhead and go back to beacon?

RBY: *groans and nods*

Pyrrha: let's go then, the extraction point is nearby. *walks away*

RWBY/NR: *nods and starts to walk away as well*

Jaune: *sighs in relief* looks like they didn’t suspect anything, thanks for keeping my secret girls.

Emerald: no problem but... *blushing a bit* do you think we deserve a reward for that?

Jaune: *raises eyebrow* you want a reward?

CEM: *nods*

Jaune: well...you did kept my secret like you promise, and you also did a great job answering their questions, you made more than enough to deserve a reward, so don’t worry *smirks* once we get back to beacon i will make sure to give you three loads of reward, is that okay to you?

CEM: *blushes and shudders* yes daddy.

I don't know anyone in 2020 who doesn't online shop besides my 80 year old grandparents because they refuse to learn how to use a computer 😂 I don't get how Will, a 30 something year old man, online shopping is worthy enough for Abby to comment on it. I'm sure Chris does it too. And Darren.

On Nov 5, Darren wrote this post and the cc fandom lost their shit.

They decided that organizing 10 costumes for multiple events in two different states for two different people was not worthy of acknowledgment- especially since they wore several purchased costumes. They spent the next 30-ish days mocking her “online shopping skills” like the petty idiots they are and now they bring it up two months later.

Anonymous asked: this is funny, C posted a photo of beard, D posted photos with the beard. Almost like they were sitting next to each other and saying “ok ok I will say this”

ajw720 answered: The only difference, C controls his SM and the bearding, D does not, but they knew the Halloween post was coming when C posted his belated b-day wishes (not that he acknowledged they were late).

It really is, if you can remove the very human, tragic element, like a script for a really bad D Movie. C posts “Happy Birthday, Babe!” a day after the man’s actual b-day and “D” praises his fake bride for MAKING TEN costumes. Sure praise her if she actually designed them and sat with her sewing machine. No, she went online and ordered things (I doubt she even went to a store). And 3 couple costumes were cheap frankly. The only thought was how narcissistic she could be in their execution (as @flowersintheattic254pointed out even the Mario costume had a reason, it was a reminder of Japan and the fake encagement by referring to the ad that paid for their trip there).

And seriously how are people not questioning that she spent the entirety of her month picking TEN costumes? Who has time for this? I know, i know, a person whose only role in life is to play fake plus one.

I am just so tired by D in particular being utterly dragged down by the useless dead weight by his side and his team’s sole ambition to promote her and make her sound like a decent person.

If they wanted to praise her, maybe they should have forced her to participate in the zero waste initiative instead of sitting drinking by the pool or have her volunteer to help young girls who have been kicked out of their homes, or have been raped. Or pick any cause and truly volunteer her time to promote it. If she is not going to actually get a job and pursue a career, please force her to do something that is actually of value and contribute something good to the world. But to praise her for picking TEN costumes?

Praise that comes from a man who this year alone won three awards, is starring in a show he created and wrote the music for, has his first big movie premiere this week, is exec producer and star of a huge show on N/etflix, just announced his starring role with 2 A++ lists actors next spring on Broadway, celebrated the 5th anniversary of the festival he created, volunteered his time for the zero waste initiative, performed at several charity events, and was just yesterday name limited series actor of the decade. Where is the praise for him from his “bride”? He at least deserves it.

How do they not see how ridiculous it is for someone with D’s accomplishments in 2019 alone praise a person for purchasing TEN costumes for Halloween? And stans, how do you accept that this is right or normal. You really know nothing about him and have such little respect for him as a person if you continue to accept the character his idiotic team has created on his behalf. It is so far from the person he is and that he generally holds himself out to be when given the opportunity.

This isn’t about being a “gay fetishist” or “hating woman” this is about wanting for D to be fairly and accurately represented and no longer forced to participate in this stupid, life sucking game to promote a person that contributes absolutely nothing to the world. I'm sure there are still plenty of people out there you can hire to rub and flaunt their flanges all over the beer taps, why don't you keep busy on that instead. If you want to make costumes, I'm sure you can sew some mighty fine titty tassels together. It'll be cheap nasty, sound familiar.

souly So, let me get this straight. We should all praise a person for going online, looking up different costumes in online stores, putting those in their shopping basket and hitting “buy”? "For real people need to step off this defending Tom shit." Mmhmm. I'm sorry but some of us can clearly see shippers starting to turn on Tom. A week ago his GG speech backlash was unfair and not his fault. Now it's his fault. A week ago the GQ article was fine, now it's "cringy". Now it's "Tom didn't compromise and if he'd agreed to what Taylor wanted he could have saved the relationship". I know it's TS Defense Squad in the HS shippers round here but defending Tom doesn't mean we hate her.

Anon a few things-

1. My issue with the stepping off defending Tom shit has to do with people expecting it. It won’t happen and at this point it has been 9 months.

2. As one of my mutuals can tell you the “Now it’s “Tom didn’t compromise and if he’d agreed to what Taylor wanted he could have saved the relationship”.” doesn’t fly with me. Relationships are a two way street.

We have no clue as to what level either party didn’t or did compromise. Did Taylor want what she has now which is to never been seen and hide completely? If so then yes I understand completely Tom not being willing. Did Taylor want what they seemed to be slipping into and would have most likely when he was filming through the end of October which was to be seen rarely and maybe not go to the Emmy’s? If so I can see very easy compromise but also I wasn’t there to assign blame.

As to the reaction of this fandom well they will always take Taylor’s side. That will just happen wrong or right. Taylor could completely be in the wrong in something and some in this fandom will justify it. It is just a part of it.

I am sure one of my mutuals can tell you after the last week that I am not a fan of how the breakup particularly played out. People can say what Tree fed to the media was the truth and it most likely was but the simple fact is I could have worded it ten million different ways and it would have come out sounding better than what it did. And if we were worried about what Tree fed to the media being the beacon of truth we would take issue with People’s exclusive last week about Taylor and Joe being long time friends. Yes I am calling bullshit. But at the same time I get it. Taylor doesn’t want the world to thing she jumped into a third relationship in a year. Well the truth is she did. It’s the truth no matter which way you cut it.

However, despite all of my thoughts on what was said by each side etc the simple fact is Taylor doesn’t need to defend Tom. Tom is a big boy and can do that himself. Had he wanted to he very easily could have thrown Taylor under the bus in GQ. He could have said she was perfectly fine with everything till her life went off the rails due to choices she made that led up to the events that occurred (Calvin going off the rails well that isn’t something she could totally control. She could not have done what happened in TMZ the way it went down but Calvin is one thing while Kim and Kanye she should have known would happen and have been more forthcoming from the beginning). He didn’t. I also don’t think that he ever would have. The GQ interview is what it is imo and that was just him simply stating the relationship was real and he is human and someone with feelings and not a character in which the world gets to paint whatever they want to on it.

The GG speech I can’t help you with and I will tell you imo it is why he is continuing to get beaten up in the press. He did that to himself. Did he have the absolute best of intentions? Yes. But did it come out that way? No. Taylor can’t defend him there anyways.

When Taylor gives and interview to Rolling Stone or whatever publication she decides to kick off her promo for her upcoming album can she touch on what happened last summer and say he is a great guy etc? Well yes. Will she? IDK. We can cross that bridge when it comes. I can’t say what is going to happen as I don’t know.

Also I don’t think you hate Taylor because you are defending Tom. I think people who have been spending months talking about how she is the anti-christ hate Taylor so yeah I take issue with them. You are welcome to take Tom’s side and that is okay. Taylor fans can take Taylor’s side (they always will get over it). However, we need to remember the two people at the center of this have both moved on. They are living their lives and doing their own things. Taylor wanted to hide and he didn’t. Neither party is in the wrong. It is simply what it is. Does it suck that Tom (who is truly imo a very nice guy) is getting trashed? Yes. But for him it will fade. For Taylor it is just beginning. She will get hammered for everything she does always and that isn’t right either.

Do I agree with everything the shippers say? HAHAHAHAHA NO! But just remember for Tom this will pass soon enough. He is probably in Atlanta filming Infinity War and Loki will return to the big screen in November and he will be fine.
