Continued abuse of our services will cause your IP address to be blocked indefinitely. That means that if I want to do any of those things, I have to exit the game, do whatever it is I need to do, then rejoin the server, wait in a queue, and then start. Please fill out the CAPTCHA below and then click the button to indicate that you agree to these terms. You have to understand though, if I want to add someone to a Skype call I have to Alt-Tab out, or if someone sends me a message on Steam, etc. I can still move the mouse around but I can't click on anything and keyboard. If you wish to be unblocked, you must agree that you will take immediate steps to rectify this issue. So, I just reinstalled BF4 and am having following issue: When launched (no matter whether from battlelog or through the ingame menu), the game loads into the map just fine but after a few seconds, the entire game just stop responding to any input. If you do not understand what is causing this behavior, please contact us here. I can no longer alt-tab out of the game without the game pausing I like leaving the game running in the background to make me money in it while I'm doing other activities on my computer I can't do that anymore I don't know when you guys patched the ability to do that out of the game but I was able to do it in version 1. If you promise to stop (by clicking the Agree button below), we'll unblock your connection for now, but we will immediately re-block it if we detect additional bad behavior. After restarting Fallout 4 pressing the equivalent button from above will open the console.

Should this for some reason not work, you can always set your keyboard's language layout to US in the Windows control panel.
Overusing our search engine with a very large number of searches in a very short amount of time Specifically 'Alt Gr' and the + key next to the enter button (not the numpad).
If you don't want to run another program, just create an empty folder on your desktop and open it. If you had already had another window open, alt-tab should switch to it.
Cant alttab out of bf4 windows 10#
I just downloaded windows 10 bedrock and I cant get rid of the awful. I think that usually happens if you only have one program running. I cant put another screen near mines because i dont have enough open space for that.Yeah you coudent alt tab out of ff11 too but thats an old game now.
Using a badly configured (or badly written) browser add-on for blocking content Now make sure that in the view tab in explorer, that hidden items checkbox. 4 TerryLaze : First off make sure you are not running anything that messes with the input, like joystick emulators or remote controls with your joypad and so on.
Running a "scraper" or "downloader" program that either does not identify itself or uses fake headers to elude detection.
Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine.
As previously mentioned, I doubt it's the encoder or any setting concerning the encoder, since the webcam capture (or anything but the game capture) is buttery smooth. There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Yes, I have tried with just a game capture source and using x264 instead of NVENC. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic.
Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.
Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests.
If you are using Maxthon or Brave as a browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, you should know that these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse.
The most common causes of this issue are: Software Manager exe file under the Task Mangers Processes tab com/chan. Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. any of the path tracing shaders out there After pressing the three keys.

Anthem, a review
(Disclaimer: The following is a non-profit unprofessional blog post written by an unprofessional blog poster. All purported facts and statement are little more than the subjective, biased opinion of said blog poster. In other words, don’t take anything I say too seriously.) Just the facts 'Cause you're in a Hurry! Publisher: Electronic Arts Developer: Bioware Platform Required: Origin Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP): 59.99 USD How much I paid: 14.99 USD for Origin Premiere Access, a subscription service for Electronic Arts Rated: Not Rated as of the writing of this review. Can I play offline: No. Anthem requires a constant online connection to play. Controller Support: Yes. It was compatible with my Rock-Candy Xbox 360 controller.  Keyboard and Mouse controls are also available. How long I played: 16 Hours to complete the main story mode on Easy mode while watching the (skippable) cutscenes. Microtransactions: An in-game Store to purchase skins, individual paint jobs or emotes for various Javelins, suits in the game. Purchases can cost up to 20 USD. What I played on: My PC. Performance Issues: I would use many words to describe Anthem, but "optimized" is not one of them. With V-Sync turned on, the Framerate dips wildly between 30-60 FPS. Several instances of clipping and pop-in textures. 3 Game crashes requiring me to restart the game. One instance of the game not loading the forge yet and me walking into the bottom pit while the forge spawed up ahead and I got stuck so I had to reset the game. But hey, the facial animations are pretty passable this time around. My Personal Biases: I am a Biodrone/Bioware apologist. I’ve played every Bioware game since Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. However, I’ve been having doubts on the company since the buggy release of Mass Effect: Andromeda. My Verdict: Less like a complete game and more like a prologue to hook early adopters in, Anthem feels like the first time in a long time that doesn't have Bioware's roleplaying there. With no romance options, very few conversations with side characters with limited choices and a ho-hum story, Anthem feels sorely lacking in several areas. Wait until Bioware puts in more content and a price cut before picking this one up. Anthem, a review
Tumblr media
And so it's finally here. After years of Development, Bioware finally releases its new IP: Anthem. After the critical and financial flop that was Mass Effect: Andromeda from even hardcore Bioware fans, will the developer be able to get back into the good graces of their fanbase? Let's find out. This is a review of "Anthem". You are a Freelancer. Riding around in your mechanical jet suit, a Javelin, you adventure outside the world collecting artifacts of, what else, the remains of an ancient and mysterious race of creators that shaped the world through the Anthem. Alongside your friends, a veteran Javelin pilot Haluk and a Cypher (psychics who can listen and understand the Anthem), Faye, you adventure into the Heart of Rage, a dangerous location where even the most hardened of veterans fall. But when the expedition goes horribly wrong and most of the other Freelancers have been killed, you pull Haluk out of the Heart of Rage and retreat to Fort Tarsis. While I can safely say that Anthem isn't nearly the disaster Mass Effect: Andromeda was, it leaves a lot to be desired. It's less of a full game than it is a prologue to something else. Then again, in the age of the ongoing dumpster fire that is Fallout 76, I suppose a less than optimized game isn't nearly as terrible as a continuing PR disaster. Two years pass and you are finding any sort of work given to you. People have begun to lose faith in Freelancers and you and your new friend, Owen, try to make ends meet. However, Tassyn, an informant from the Capital, comes with you with a job offer. However, as you continue your adventure, you meet up with the enemy faction, the Dominion (those who believe they can control the Anthem and reshape the world) as well as its bloodthirsty leader, Monitor. In order to defeat the Monitor, you'll have to reunite with your estranged friends, Haluk and Faye, improve your Javelin, pass trials and re-enter the Heart of Rage. Can you finish the mission you ran away from two years ago? Anthem is a third-person shooter in which you complete quests to earn gear. As you level up and do more difficult missions, you'll receive better gear. This is where Anthem shines: the level of customizing your Javeline is immense and there's a lot of room for originality. There are 4 classes of Javelins: the Ranger, an all-around, versatile mech, the Interceptor, a light mech focusing on Melee attacks, the Storm, a mage type class that can fire elemental attacks and the Colossus, the tank class capable of soaking up damage. While each of the 4 Javelins can equip any weapon, specific Javelins are limited to certain parts. You'll gather and accumliate parts and salvage the parts to get components. You can use components to craft new parts ranging from Common to Uncommon to Rare to Legendary. If you earn a blueprint, you can craft some Legendary gear. Earning items can be done by playing story missions, doing side-quests, participating in Strongholds (this game's version of Dungeons) or going into Freeplay, an open world element in which you fly around the vast world and look for 'World Events' random missions that have specific objectives and reward a treasure chest full of loot. Flying around in the mech is a highlight. Being able to soar through the air and water while watching for overheating is probably the best we'll get to an Iron Man experience. Combat and mission objectives aren't quite as compelling. It's mostly doing the same thing over and over again: defeat waves of enemies, collect echos or fragments, wait until the Signal is decrypted, etc. And while the Javelins have different playstyles, abilities and Ultimate attacks, it does little to change defeating wave after wave of enemies for the umpteeth time. While Customizing your Javelin is vast, customizing your player avatar is sorely lacking. There's no character creator as the game only gives you preset faces to pick from. Worst yet, the majority of the game while in Fort Tarsis is set in first-person, meaning you'll almost never see your character for the majority of the game. The lack of roleplaying bleeds out into Fort Tarsis. Frankly, compared to the vast world to explore in Anthem, Fort Tarsis is claustrophobic. It makes Dragon Age 2's Kirkwall seem big by comparison. There's very little to explore and not helping matters is the snail's pace you're forced to walk while traveling around it. For Tarsis is filled up with NPC's in which you can have conversations. To advance certain conversations, you'll either have to do missions or enter freeplay. Unfortunately, your dialogue options are VERY limited. The infamous Bioware Dialogue Wheel is nowhere to be found and you'll be left with two choices to respond. Not helping matters is that most of these conversations go nowhere and do very little to define your character. (Though there are some exceptions. For example, I liked listening to Zoe talk about her son and why her motherly instincts lead her to take extra care of Javelins or helping an old woman who confuses you for her dead child). While the results may differ depending on what choices you choose, all the major stuff is being done off-screen. It's one thing to have a veteran Javelin pilot reminisce about the old days but when other characters are having adventures and bringing you up to speed on taking your advice, you can't help but feel a disconnect. The main story doesn't really help either. You don't even get to pick dialogue choices at all and you watch as your Player Character does all the acting. It truly feels like the first time the game is on-rails and you're not voicing any input at all on how to react. Worst yet, certain points in the main questline FORCES you to do tedious grinding to advance. When Faye asks you to do trials, they can only be accomplished by doing in-game achievements (i.e. Kill X enemies with a Melee Attack or Revive X players). It feels needlessly tedious and only bogs the game down. This is (and I'm speculating here) only there to extend the playtime so that gamers who payed for the 10 hour trial do not blitz through the main storyline.
youtube
After that, you need to craft the Dawn Sheild and must help either Matthias, an Archanist who might be seeing triple or Sentinel Dax, a princess turned guard who's recklessness might get you killed, in order to do so. Worst yet, even after helping one of them, the game insists you help the other one to lower the crafting cost of the shield. The main questline is short and full of cliches. Not helping matters is that the Monitor is a completely generic big bad with no real personality and idiotic reasons for wanting to access the Anthem. I know Bioware is hardly the arbiter of original characters, but the Monitor is woefully lacking after the specific threats that were Mass Effect's Saren and Dragon Age's Loghain. And after it's done, the game 'teases' you with an after-credits scene that only exists so that Bioware can state "Don't worry; we have more content coming soon". Even after you complete the story and unlock the two other Strongholds, there's a woeful lack of content. You can repeat missions and do quests on higher difficulty levels to gain better gear, but it quickly becomes repetitive. Who is the audience for this game? In a world where Warframe is free to play, Borderlands 2 has a healthy player population and Destiny 2 has had its price cut, Anthem feels like a latecomer to the genre. But, even loyal Bioware fans (i.e. the people who bought Mass Effect: Andromeda on the first day and still defend said purchase), aren’t feeling this game. In fact, one of the Youtube creators I follow quit the game after he received a bug in which after unlocking his second Javelin, he was unable to access the account.
youtube
Why would Bioware change its formula now? And it's not as if Anthem is a priority for Electronic Arts, either. With Apex Legends continuing to dominate Twitch ratings and Playerbase, Anthem will probably be pushed to the sidelines. The game requires constant online connection and has an in-game store. Fortunately, said microtransactions are purely cosmetic and do not feature loot boxes plaguing the industry. And while it isn't as rediculous and allows you, the player, to buy the items with in-game currency, it's still a bad precedent. But I could even forgive the game as a service model as long as I got to roleplay. For example, (and I’m aware this is a very subjective opinion that is not shared by other people), I really like Star Wars: The Old Republic. Even though many gamers criticized the game of being a World of Warcraft rip-off (and rightly so, I might add), there was a sense of roleplaying and seeing my character on screen. Plus, it was cool seeing how different the class stories differed from one another. I could tell you how my Twi'lek smuggler who romanced Akaavi differed from my Pureblood Sith Inquistor who romanced Ashara. If you asked me what differentiated my Male Javelin Pilot from my Female one, I couldn't possibly tell you. (I suspect that the game will inevitably follow the footsteps of Star Wars: The Old Republic, go free to play when the playerbase dwindles while walling off things such as Strongholds for subscribers). And it's very telling how developers and animators were pulled from Mass Effect: Andromeda to help work on Anthem. CAVEAT: As a developer, Bioware has always put things like inclusion and diversity first and foremost, even at the cost of things such as quality assurance or facial animations. "Strong Alone, Stronger Together," says Haluk. And for a lot of consumers, myself included, they feel conflicted on criticizing something they view as a positive force for the games industry. But whatever the consumer is, whomever they love, whatever the color of their skin or what they identify themselves as, Electronic Arts is pulling out scummy tactics to milk them out of their money. Theres still an ongoing debate of where things like representation, inclusion, exclusion, diversity and egalitarianism have in the industry. But wherever you find yourself on the culture war, the one thing we can agree on is that the last thing required are for giant publishers co-opting those social issues in order to scam its customers out of their money. Verdict: Wait for a sale or Rental.

Days Gone is officially out now on PC, something that's relatively unprecedented. Sony has begun bringing some of its PlayStation exclusives to the platform to expand its audience and possibly build anticipation for sequels to key franchises. Although it would appear there's no Days Gone sequel currently in the works, Sony decided to give the first game a second chance after it got a mixed reception on PS4.
Bend was able to successfully realize its full vision of Days Gone in this new PC port, squashing tons of bugs and filling a brutal, dark world with beautiful visuals in the process. It's the best possible version of Days Gone and there's a chance that if Sony sees the positive reception and it sells well, Days Gone fans could get a sequel.
Related: Days Gone PC Review: This Is The Version To Play
Screen Rant got to sit down and talk with Ron Allen, Lead Designer, and Zachary Lewis, Senior User Interface Programmer, from Bend Studio. The duo talked a lot of specifics about the development of Days Gone, potentially expanding and continuing the story in comic books, a key connection to Syphon Filter, and much more.
Tumblr media
There's a Syphon Filter Easter egg in Days Gone, and everyone wants to know: is Days Gone within the Syphon Filter universe? Just gotta get that out of the way.
Ron Allen: I guess I can talk a little bit about that. You know that obviously, Syphon's really close to our studio's heart. We were the original developers, and we carried it all the way through until the end on the on the PSP. And, obviously, we're big fans of the Syphon Filter franchise in general.
With the taser and things like that - I don't want to go too far into all of that, but - yes, there was a little bit of that crossover with Syphon Filter. What happened in all of that stuff is still to be determined.
So, you're not saying whether or not it is in the Syphon Filter universe, but there is a connection there?
Ron Allen: There's a little bit of connection there.
This is your first PC game as a studio, right? How did you approach the PC as console developers, when you've primarily developed for PlayStation? What challenges did you come to blows with?
Ron Allen: For us, we're gamers. It doesn't matter what system; we're gamers. And we do have a lot of PC gamers over here, so I'm sure you can imagine that a lot of guys on our team were super excited when we were even talking about having a PC version.
And the thing is, we want to make sure that we're punching with the best experience we can possibly deliver. Our studio has been pretty focused on trying to get the PC version up and running, and running well. And some of the upgrades that we've done, we're extremely happy about: we've unlocked frame rates, we've improved graphics, we've pushed out LOD distances and foliage draw distances. We support ultra wide monitors, which I'm a huge fan of. I have two, and I'm staring at one right now. I'm just super happy about that.
I'll let Zach jump into this real quick, but there's a lot of controls and stuff that just didn't necessarily translate over to PC. Zach did a ton of work on this.
Zachary Lewis: Yeah, and I want to touch back on something. I believe that this is our first PC title since being a Sony studio. Bend has a long history before then, we even made games for the Apple Newton and stuff. We have made other platform games in the past, but this is the first modern gen venture into PC.
And like Ron said, a lot of the folks who are working on the PC port are PC gamers. We've seen good ports, we've seen bad ports - so we knew the kind of things that we wanted as gamers. And that's why we took a lot of time and care to make sure that no matter how you wanted to play, it will feel right for you. We have full remapping of all of the actions, not just some subset of them.
One thing I'm really excited about is our wide array of input support, so in addition to native DualShock 4 and DualSense support, we also have support for pretty much any other controller you want to bring. So, if you plug in an Xbox controller, it'll just work and you'll see Xbox buttons. Same with the Steam controller, and same with the Nintendo Switch Pro. We took a lot of time to make sure that players could play the game the way that they wanted to.
Tumblr media
Is it mind bending for you to see Nintendo prompts or Xbox prompts on your Sony-developed game?
Ron Allen: It is. But to be honest, it's extremely important that we do this stuff, because we want to make sure that we're reaching out to as many fans as we possibly can. And this is the platform to do it on.
The last few years, the gaming industry has been very rapidly changing and evolving in very strange ways that I don't think anyone saw coming. There's a PlayStation game on Xbox, now with MLB The Show. We're in weird times, but it's awesome. How do you guys feel about all that, with Sony going to PC and doing all these different things?
Ron Allen: I'll be honest. At least to me, the really exciting thing about this is us being able to reach out to new fans. That's why, again, spent so much time working on this PC version of Days Gone to make sure that it played as well as we wanted it to play. And I think that's extremely exciting.
There was a mixed reception to the PS4 version, and I think this is a much better representation of the game. A lot of the problems that people had with the game back then were bugs. But were you guys happy with how that game launched, and did you use any of that criticism to work on this version?
Ron Allen: Yeah, that's an interesting question. To be honest, we were a really small studio. When we shipped Golden Abyss we were running about 45 people or so, and we decided to take on this massively ambitious game. It took us a while to develop it, and we did end up bulking up, but we were a pretty small team compared to a lot of the other studios. And we were really happy with what we pulled off.
Now, of course, we did a lot of patches and a lot of fixes. Plus, we added a lot of good stuff to the game, like all the DLC and the performance patches and all that stuff. But the cool thing about the PC is all of that stuff got rolled in, so all the benefits that we got from the work that we did even after shipping the game was rolled into the PC version. Plus, we even enhanced the photo mode and things like that, so the photos that you're taking now on the PC are much higher resolution. It's just really cool.
To me, it was a long process, you're right. But I think we all were still pretty happy and excited about the game that we released.

Yeah, it is a good game, no doubt. With that said, there's a big petition right now for a sequel - I'm sure you guys have seen it - with 110,000 signatures. How do you guys feel when you see such big support coming towards you for something like that?
Ron Allen: I will always say that I am so proud and happy with the support of our fans out there on Days Gone. Our studio has been primarily focused on trying to get this PC port running, but we love the support and can't thank the fans enough. I can't say more, but it's just amazing.
Did developing for PC teach you any lessons that you can bring back to developing games for consoles?
Zachary Lewis: Yeah, I think so. Especially because, as you've seen in some titles already, the PS5 does support keyboard and mouse having. I think that could come forward, and different ways to play is going to be a big thing that developers need to think about. We learned a lot of things about that: "We did this for the menu systems that felt great for the DualShock 4, but might not translate well to keyboard. How can we rethink as we are designing these things, so they can work better for multiple inputs?"
It's just that that kind of thing, where it's like, "This bit us here. So going forward, let's make sure that we keep some things in consideration with them."
Ron Allen: Especially moving on to PS5 and things like that, especially with the 120Hz support and framerate - it's all of those things. Again, the PS4 and the PS4 Pro are extremely powerful, but the current version of the PS5 and the current PCs are quite a bit more powerful. So, it's very interesting to see the stuff, especially the benefits and bonuses that we get, moving Days Gone over to the PC and PS5.
Do you think there's any chance Days Gone could be explored further through comics or other media? I know God of War has done stuff like that with comic books.
Ron Allen: Well, to be honest, I had a conversation not that long ago about this same type of stuff. There's so many stories to be had in the Days Gone world, and this was Deacon St. John's story. Days Gone is about his life and his loss, and how he's dealing with this pandemic - and he's not the only one that survived.
So yes, you're right. There could be so many stories and so many things to be had inside this universe. And it excites me just even thinking about it.
Zachary Lewis: We should call HBO and see if we can get a show going or something.
Tumblr media
Did you have some sort of bible on Days Gone, where you're like, "This is the world and the answers to all the questions we might have if we ever go down a road of sequels or other media that we can refer back to?"
Ron Allen: We did. We had a lot of backstory, and a lot of the things that you didn't discover in Days Gone. Our old creative director, John Garvin, was really into the lore and the backstory inside the game. So yeah, there's a ton of stuff for us to look at when we're talking about Days Gone.
Zachary Lewis: I think you can see some of that attention to the world in the game as Deacon talks with people in the encampments. You can tell that they have some history since before we get to see him. It's been fleshed out, we just don't talk about it. It's just something that is part of the world of Days Gone.
I think that's what we need. Because everyone's always like, "Zombies are old, they're dead," but I think you can keep that fresh by really building a cool world. And there's a lot of cliffhangers and stuff set up in this game that fans want to see.
Ron Allen: The cool thing about this is, like what Zach was saying, it's not just in the encampment stuff. When you're cruising around the open world, and you're seeing Freakers as you're coming across Swarmers that they could be drinking, or they could be running after a deer. We dubbed this the Freak-o system, and it's like all of the enemies and everything out in the world play off each other, and they all key.
And you can weaponize that kind of stuff. If you know that the Breakers - the bigger guys - go after Swarmers if they're not after you, you can lure them into different areas and see how they interact. And it's pretty cool. It's definitely an interesting and different way of approaching gameplay.
I know that this game had a pretty lengthy development. How much of it remained from the original pitch, and how much changed as you made the game?
Ron Allen: The game definitely evolved over time. Honestly, we rebooted our world a few times, and what we landed on was something that we were pretty proud of. The world in general is in our backyard; we look out our windows, and we see the world that we have created for Days Gone. And it's pretty awesome. It's kind of a Disneyland version of a it, of course, but it's just very unique and something that we're really excited about.
And again, we built up all the way through. I will say, it is very similar to the original concept that we were pitching. Which is good, it still stayed true. I think that's what made us all extremely excited during development to work on this project.
Tumblr media
I really did enjoy the game, and I think this PC version is going to open a lot of eyes for people who maybe haven't played it or who only played the previous version.
Zachary Lewis: When we were developing the game at the start, I don't ever think that we thought of it as, "Oh, this is a game for PS4 players." We wanted to make a fun game that anybody could enjoy. And this opportunity to release it on PC is really exciting, because it's this whole other fanbase that our community is excited to see play and experience this game and story for the first time. It's something that we are really looking forward to.
Ron Allen: The gameplay in general, once you get into the open world and are just kind of cruising around - I feel that this game is like comfort food. It's the one game that I keep going back to over and over. I'll play something else, then I'll come back to it. And keep in mind, I was a developer on the project, yet I still go back and play on the PC and on the PS5.
It's comfort food. It's something that's easy to get into and easy to get out of. It's just a really fun game, and we're extremely excited because we're reaching out to a whole new fan base. I can't wait to see people's reactions.

Project Wingman Alpha Test 5
ITS HERE!
Current latest version : v0.3.3
Hello everyone!
It has been quite a while since I've released a Project Wingman demo. After 7 months it's finally here! This will be the second last demo before the Kickstarter Campaign of the game so please look forward to that!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is not quite the “BIG” demo I’ve been hyping up for a while (boo). However, this release will have a few new toys for you to play with and an additional level that showcases different aspects within Project Wingman. At heart this demo is mainly a huge polish pass of the game and a lot of bugfixes, which is why it has taken this long to release.
That being said, it's the same drill as before. I'm looking for feedback on all aspects. One of the main things introduced in this update is difficulty options. Please let me know what you think of them!
Kickstarter along with the final demo with an additional mission and a sample of Conquest mode coming Early 2018.
Any feedback can either go to :

Aircraft delivery or weapon delivery? But the latter has been answered by this post :) Hope you enjoy it!
Tumblr media
There are some elements to that in the story but not as tethered to the current world.
Tumblr media
Thank you! More aircraft will eventually be included. I can’t really promise what they will be at this very moment but please look forward to them.

9 Best Gaming Accessories in 2020
If you love video games but are bored with your current setup. There are tons of great gamer gadgets that can energize your experience. I have some list of best gaming accessories. These are some best gaming accessories available right now. So now I am going to share them with you. First up we have the. Razer Blade 15:
Tumblr media
Previously razor has had some bad reputation in cooling. What could you expect it satin and light gaming laptop but now Razer has completely changed up the cooling designs and came up with the new Razer. The blade laptop has the 15 inch model with the RTX 2060 16 GB of RAM and I78758 processor. This laptop has made working and gaming a whole lot easier. Games run smoothly with no FPS drops and you can game most games on ultra and 1080p 60fps. The trackpad is amazing and not something you would expect out of a Windows laptop and the keyboard is tactile and great to game with. Although sometimes the part where you rest your wrist can get warmer than you want. But the laptop is really light and carrying it around is easier. Audio Technica G1WL wireless gaming headset:
Tumblr media
The headphones are built around a pair of 45mm drivers. The closed-back ear cups offer a great amount of low-end even at lower volumes. The mids are crispy and great for listening to vocals and game soundtracks. The highs are also no joke to things like the cymbal hitting in songs and footsteps and games weren't drowned out by the bass. It's great for almost any game whether it be casual or competitive. You also have to surround sound so you can pinpoint the locations of gunshots or footsteps in FPS games. And this gives you a very distinct advantage in competitive gaming. When it comes to the microphone the g1w L is amazing. The mic noise cancellation is set just right to minimize keyboard clicks without muffling your voice. The mic is also entirely detachable so it won't get in the way when you're casually gaming or listening to music. Overall this wireless headset is great for mobile gaming and you do its lightweight nature it's very portable. Moto speed CK 80 mechanical keyboard:
Tumblr media
It has become a great looking keyboard. It is surrounded by gray and black caps and LED lights around a very sharp design. The LED lights make it look great and the gray accents make its keyboard unique. It's got a dial on the side and a key rollover which makes things much easier and the dial can change volume and brightness. The keyboard got autumn silver switches which provide amazing tactile feedback with lots of travel for precise input. And they were amazing to type in-game with. The gaming was amazing with the help of this keyboard that the actions were precise and there is no input interval. The RGB lights and gray color provide for a really nice looking keyboard that is somewhat heady. Overall for gaming, this is one of the good looking and working keyboards you can buy. But if you don't like mechanical keyboards or if it's too loud for use in your office then another option you can have is Corsair K57:
Tumblr media
This is another great choice the belt needless to say it's top-notch. The RGB button is just right and the keys get great feedback even though they aren't mechanical There are dedicated media buttons that make changing volumes a lot easier and the overall typing experience is pretty good. It even has a wrist rest which does a lot to improve ergonomics and comfort. The keyboard is Wireless so carrying it around is easy and you can game without worrying about the wires dangling. Battery life is also very good so you don't need to charge it regularly. This is a great keyboard for those who love non-mechanical keyboards. This is a great keyboard for those who love non-mechanical keyboards. Logitech G502 light speed:
Tumblr media
What better must to get than the g502 Light speed Wireless. This mouse is everything and better. First of all, it is wireless and has no difference in lag. Secondly, it can also charge wirelessly during gaming so you don't even have to plug in to charge. And third, it's lighter than its predecessor, which makes it even better. But if you want something that costs half the price but still performs well, then Corsair Iron Claw is your choice. It's got great tracking and really great response time. It has RGB and the mouse looks stylish. Battery life is quite good and it can easily last you five to six days. The clicks feel good and respond with no delay plus it's got seven extra buttons that are handy and remapping them is also pretty easy. So for the price it's, it's a great wireless mouse and you definitely get the price you paid. For storing games and faster loading times I have for you The SanDisk 1tb SSD:
Tumblr media
This SSD has been very helpful for not only games but also transferring all those large video footage. It's got an extremely fast read and writes speed of 550 and 500 MPS respectively. It has a ruggedized build which makes it shockproof and besides has ip55 water and dust protection. All in all, this has been a great help as if you don't need to have games on your laptop every time which saves a lot of storage. The Gazeon mouse pad: For the mouse pad, you may choose gaze on because of two reasons. First of all, it is solid so it can be bent this is specifically useful if you're gaming on unusual surfaces. And second, because it has wireless charging, you can just set up your phone and charge it without the hassle of wires. Havit Laptop cooler:
Tumblr media
Now laptops do tend to get hot we do not supply with good airflow. So you will probably have this habit cooler to further cool the laptop and elevate it. So that the laptop gets sufficient airflow the Havit cooler can easily decrease the temperatures by 5 to 10 degrees which is great as far as cooling can go. And it also shines blue which is a nice touch. The Razer backpack: Now to carry all this you've got to need a pretty good bag and the one is the razor backpack. First of all the bag is big it can easily fit the keyboard mouse pad Mouse laptop charger and headphones and still have some room to spare. The bag is made out of excellent fabric and waterproof as well. Therefore your precious electronics don't get damaged. It also has a separate laptop compartment with sufficient padding. That’s why it's well protected it's also got some small pouches and first to hold small things and spacious mid-zipper storage to keep all your stuff. For mobile gaming, this bag will carry all you require. Read the full article

Dev Log - Finishing A Game
The final stretch to finish a game can be a struggle. While the “to do” list might not be as long as before it seems that every time you work on the game you are faced with something that needs fixing or clean up.
In this case, finishing the game coincided with a bunch of changes and some hardships which didn’t help at all. From starting to do the menus and connecting the levels to finishing it took way too long that was needed. I guess that’s the story of the development of this entire game so it’s appropriate.
Tumblr media
The menus themselves didn’t cause me too much trouble. I came up with their layout fairly keep and Unity’s UI tools are easy enough to work with. The biggest issue I had was with the input method since it took me a while to figure out   if I wanted to use keyboard controls, a mouse or both. I ended up going with mouse controls since they are  the most natural to use altought they take some extra time to ensure all use cases work as they should. After release it was pointed to me that the fact that I use the “SpaceBar” to play the game and the mouse to control the menus makes a bad UX, a fact that I totally forgot about. I intend to patch mouse controls to the game later to try and “save it”. I’m very professional.
Tumblr media
The other major part finishing the game was implementing the soundtrack.  I was very lucky to have a friend work with me and do an amazing soundtrack that I think really elevated the game. I loved what he did with it. Thanks to that my job was just to ensure that songs were playing at the right time and going from area to area everything worked. Due to some wonking programming this took more than one attempt but it works pretty well now (except for one use case that I hope most people don’t notice).
The launch of the game went pretty smoothly. The worst part of it was the trailer since my computer is dying and the end result (image quality wise) was poor. Since I was pressed for time I ended up just making a gif out of it and hoping for the best. Apart from that, some friends wrote really nice things to me and enjoyed the game which made me pretty happy. Their words meant the world to me. Releasing something to the world and then have people you like and strangers supporting you is pretty nice. I am thankful to every person who played the game, shared it and replied to me. There were no game breaking bugs that I know of so there’s that too.
Finishing the game took time and motivation but, all in all, it went fairly smoothly. It was just a slow process that I had to push myself to do but it was worth it.
Tumblr media
After this PC release I still intend to go back to it and port the game to Android and iOS. I’m hoping this process will be pretty straightforward thanks to Unity. After that it might take some time to get back to doing game as big as this. I have some small ideas that I want to work on but they are more experimental and personal games that will be published under my own name.
Thanks to everyone that read the develops too! They were fun to write and it’s a good way to think about my work and reflect about it. This isn’t a goodbye although I have no big project on the line so it will take a while before I’m back at writing frequently about game dev.  I might do a post-mortem but I’m not feeling it currently. You can follow me on twitter at @kiguel182 if you want updates on my other non FatBread work. Still, any news related to Disconcerted or Throw That Yarn will still appear here obviously!

dreams last night
i’m listening through my bedroom door to two people having a very angry yelling argument. i think they’re in a relationship. the argument is also a beautiful song in some abstract way. like the reality dry/wet dial between “it being an argument” & “it being a song” is at 50%. maybe their voices are vocoded, or bitcrushed. i feel like i remember hearing old, dusty, tender piano notes
then one of them is sitting at the desktop computer in my living room. it’s maybe around noon. it’s overcast out. the sky is white. they’re on the login page for an obscure forum. i’m curious about the forum & try to access it. i have a second mouse & keyboard that overrides their inputs. or there’s a second cursor & two channels of keyboard input that complicate the login process. or maybe i have a second monitor too & what i do on it is reflected on their monitor
then we’re in an unfamiliar house. maybe a bedroom. or a living room. or a miscellaneous hallway area between living rooms & bedrooms. the lighting is sort of golden. the floor is wooden. the kind made out of planks instead of homogeneous panels. i smile & remark to them how glad i am to be with them in some unfamiliar location far from my home. there is what may be a matryoshka doll on a nearby shelf, & i try to interact with it. i accidentally knock over a container of board game pieces, which scatter across the floor. we frantically work on placing them back in the box, in the particular order required
i’m back in my apartment, at dusk. the sun is setting in the north. there is now a line of train tracks directly to the south of my apartment. it allows me very easy access to a public transportation system. sometimes a freight train comes by with only large tanks of water branded with the logo of my college. when this train comes by, the whole apartment is filled with the sound of sloshing water, like it’s inside my head, & i love it
i’m in my bedroom during these sloshings. it’s dimmer than usual. i realize the carpet is covered in dozens & dozens & dozens of medication tablets littered about that i need to pick up & put back in the bottle. i realize the pill bottle has a tiny hatch on the side near the bottom that can slide upwards open & pills can fall out freely, & every time i’ve gotten the bottle out they’ve been falling on my bedroom floor without me noticing. this isn’t the first dream to involve my medication tablets being spilled out across the ground
then i vaguely remember a more fantastical part that involves me leaping around a bright desert environment. it feels like being a scout in team fortress two, if you can jump three or four times & the gravity is lowered. there’s a voiceover from one of my friends as i find some kind of concrete bunker leading down into the foot of a cliff. i go in. i think a plexiglass door slides down & i’m locked in a small room, staring through plexiglass at a bunch of peculiar characters on the other side. something bad might be scheduled to happen to them

 AOSON R102 10-Inch Android Tablet
(Android 6.0 Marshmallow, MTK8163A-B Quad Core, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal Storage, 10.1″ 1280x800 IPS Touch Screen, Dual Camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, with micro SD card slot)
SCREEN:  Sharp, nice contrast, great color.  Came with a screenguard pre-applied.  Viewing angle is fine for two people watching a movie together.  Touch responds smoothly.
BRIGHTNESS:  This can go really bright.  I actually use it most often on the dimmest setting (kinda wish it went a bit dimmer actually - but there's likely an app for that).
SOUND:  Okay. It's really what you'd expect for a tablet.  You can hear alright on wifi calls, but using a bluetooth headset  better.  For movies, you'll likely want to use headphones or a speaker.
BATTERY LIFE:  Better than expected.  The listing says "Average Battery Life: 5 hours" (and the seller told me 4 to 6 hours), but I am getting significantly LONGER than this.  I think I'm averaging over 7 hours (which the battery monitoring app I installed agrees with, putting my average at 7 hours and 41 minutes).  You can play games and watch entire movies, no problem.  This would make a great tablet for entertainment on trips.  I originally thought it was draining a lot while idle, but that turned out to be entirely my weather app widget.  When I removed it, the drain was only 1% for 20 hours idle (with wifi and bluetooth on, not in airplane mode).
Here are some battery usage stats, all with wifi and bluetooth on:
Star Wars: The Force Awakens, VLC player, brightness at half, headphones = used 30%
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Prime Video, lowest brightness, headphones = used 17%
playing misc games for 1 hour = used 14%
30 minutes browsing play store and installing apps = used 4%
1 hour reading, Alreader on autoscroll = used 9%
STORAGE:  Of the 16gb internal, 11.04gb is available.  There is a card slot (under a pop-off panel on the back) which can take a 32gb micro SD card.  Also, if you have a micro usb to regular usb adapter, you can plug flashdrives into the tablet.  I have played movies from a flashdrive with no lagging or issues.
FILE TRANSFER:  Just plug the tablet's usb cable into your computer, it will show up as aosonR102, and you'll see internal storage and your micro SD card.  You can open these and drag and drop files. Super simple, same as transferring to/from a portable hard drive.
Tumblr media
WIFI:  Good. Setup was literally just selecting my wifi and putting in my password, and now it hops on automatically.  It is very fast to connect.  I can have the tablet on the complete opposite side of the house from my wifi router and it's still in range, going through a couple walls. The speed is able to stream movies.  I've had no issues so far.
WIFI CALLS:  Yep, just install something like Hangouts.  You can call and text both ways using phone numbers.  The tablet will ring just like a phone when somebody calls you.
BLUETOOTH:  Good. Pairing devices is simple, and I can be in a different room down the hall with the door shut and my headset will still work perfectly.  You can use things such as a keyboard and mouse with this.  It's paired easily with everything I've tried so far.
CAMERAS:  This is not the tablet for people who want to take serious photos with it.  I know my sister takes all her baby photos with phones/tablets, and if you're wanting to do that, this is NOT the tablet for you. Photo quality is extremely poor (like ridiculously so).  I don't mind this much myself because THIS IS A 10-INCH TABLET, and holding it up and using it as a camera is just plain awkward.  You can use the camera for video chats, but it's certainly not ideal if that's your main reason for having the tablet.  You'll be grainy and probably going off the edge of the screen unless you set the tablet on a stand and back up a fair amount due to the camera being in the corner.
HEAT:  I'm mostly okay holding this in my hands or on my lap for hours.  It can occasionally get somewhat uncomfortably warm in the upper, left corner, though.  Just be sure to let that area of the back breathe.  Don't prop it in a way that covers the entire back.
AMAZON PRIME VIDEO:  Works fine with this.  I installed the app with no issues and was playing a movie within minutes.
MOUSE:  Yes, when you use a mouse with this, you do indeed get a functional pointer.
FIREWALL:  Doesn't come with one installed, but I found a free one in the app store which works fine. Apps now only get access to the internet when I allow it.
CASES:  Unfortunately, case selection seems to be limited to universal styles.
GOOD FOR:
watching videos (plenty of battery life for two or three full-length movies, although sound will likely need headphones or a bluetooth/wired speaker to be loud enough in quiet scenes)
looking at photos (nice, clear images - great for portfolios)
play store games (has worked fine with all the game apps I've tried so far, any lagging seems to be only in menus and not in actual game play - but I'm not a serious gamer, so I'll just remind you this tablet only has 1gb of ram and you should keep your expectations realistic)
wifi calls using Hangouts (I can have the tablet on the complete opposite side of the house from my wifi router, and then walk all over the house with a bluetooth headset without problems)
adult coloring books (the large screen makes this a lot more fun than on smaller tablets or phones)
reading
email
surfing internet (comes with Chrome browser installed)
calendar
BAD FOR:
taking photos (both cameras are unfortunately very poor)
video calls (you can do it, but again the camera is very poor and also positioned at the corner)
How to take a SCREENSHOT: Press Power and Volume Down together for about 2 seconds.
How to MAKE THE ONSCREEN KEYBOARD STOP VIBRATING AND MAKING A CLICKING NOISE WHENEVER YOU TYPE A LETTER: Settings/Personal/Language & input/keyboard & input methods/Android Keyboard (AOSP)/Preferences/uncheck Vibrate on keypress and Sound on keypress.
How to AUTO-ROTATE THE SCREEN ORIENTATION: Settings/System/Accessibility/check Auto-rotate screen.  You can also find this in Settings/Display, and also by swiping down twice from the top of the screen to pull up that quick menu.
How to QUICKLY PUT THE PHONE ON SILENT OR AIRLINE MODE: Swipe down twice from the top of the screen. AUDIO PROFILES and AIRPLANE MODE are both here.
How to SCHEDULE SILENT HOURS: As far as I could find, there is no pre-installed app for this. I was able to easily find and download one, though.  Then I used the app to set times for switching to silent mode (but keeping alarms enabled).
How to CHANGE THE WALLPAPER: Press and hold any blank spot on the Home page or other page.  The Wallpapers and Widgets icons will appear.
How to add WIDGETS: Press and hold any blank spot on the Home page or other page.  The Wallpapers and Widgets icons will appear.
OVERALL THOUGHTS:  This is a good, low-cost tablet.  I definitely like it.  The quality (in regard to both feel and look) is satisfactory, plain but not cheap.
Since that was a long read, I’m going to put the Amazon product link and complete tablet specs again here at the bottom.
