I find this comment to be rich with irony since I doubt most who played Nuts & Bolts actually made it all the way to the very end of the game to even see this cutscene, even I never finished the game when it first came out because of how bored I was playing it.

I did find this part amusing seeing all the canceled game ideas RareWare ended up shelving like Grabbed By the Ghoulies 2, Battletoads 2010, and some other new Banjo game. (maybe it's Banjo-Threeie)

So apparently, since I had last posted anything, Tumblr updated how many pictures you could add in a post. If I remember correctly, I think the limit used to be 10 per post, but now it is 30.

Anyway, a few months ago, I was playing Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts again, and I went ahead at took these pictures of Humba Wumba as she appears in the levels. These pictures are of a much higher quality than the older pictures I had taken.

Guess who's back~

Me, unfortunately lol. So why are we here? Well, I redesigned Humba Wumba from Banjo Tooie! Her design was um... controversial before.

Besides being questionable, it's uncreative. So I went a different direction with her design and made her into whatever species Mumbo Jumbo is. I know he looks the way he does because Grunty cursed him, but hey! Maybe Grunty goes around cursing every marginally powerful magic user in her vicinity. I don't know her life.

Oh, and here's a version without the background. I've never tried to paint/draw a background before and it kinda shows :P.

My main idea for her was that her hair is many feathers braided together. So she could keep her braids and feathers, but turn them into something more unique. I replaced her headband thing with a feather necklace. Her new mechanic is that instead of collecting Glowbos, you give her more feathers for her insane feather obsession. The golden feathers go basically unused in Banjo Tooie anyways. Oh and if you find her missing pet Mega Glowbo... she will reward you handsomely~ (by turning you into a cool dragon)

i don't know why i insisted on trying to give this a coloured pencils vibe :P. it didnt really work...

Humba Wumba-A shaman that the bear & bird met on their second big adventure (or was it their third?). Humba Wumba believes that she is the best shaman around, far more than Mumbo Jumbo could ever hope to be. Outside of being able to transform the heroes into a variety of forms, Wumba has also been known to make and sell vehicle blueprints, so she was excited to see what she could make for the big race.

Jumble Bee-Wumba decided to base her car on her favorite spell. The Jumble Bee lives up to it's inspiration by being swift, albeit, a little slippery. Expect to see Mumbo and Wumba getting perhaps a bit too competitive during the race.
