Took the day off of work yesterday because stress was making me sick, but finally got a chance to take a breather and do some doodling. These are my characters for my comic, I just put my playlist for it on shuffle and drew whatever character was correlated with the song.

Felt like doing some drawing tonight. I did an eye just for fun and a warm up. Then I did some doodles of some of my comic characters. I got experimental with the style. We’ve got Draz’Ilguliuth, my demon boi. Hezz Karen my kraken knight gorl, Babbler, the mimicking creature. Abraham my plague doctor reaper, looking up cause why not? I haven’t attempted that angle. Cryptlich, anxiety dad/monster under the bed boi. And Septo, my spooky forest goddess gorl.

Also drew my girl (Hezz) Karen! The Kraken Knight. I wanted to also try playing with my pastels for the background. Again, used marker because I’m more comfortable with it, but overall was fun! First time I gave her colour too, but who knows, it might change.

01. Full name: Her real name is Hezz, but she’s called Karen by the Marine Biologists who found her. 02. Best friend: Other than her girlfriend Xiaomei, she gets along quite well with Samuel, the Historian student who happily helped build her a functional knight suit. 03. Sexuality: Lesbian 04. Favorite color: Probably black or white, they’re the only colours she can see. 05. Relationship status: Happily in a relationship06. Ideal mate: Preferably another cephalopod monster/kraken type, but finding another of her kind is few and far between. She’s just as happy with her mermaid gf07. Turn-ons: Anything in water. Beds suck08. Favorite food: Most Seafood09. Crushes: Xiaomei10. Favorite music: Anything with a good beat, she loves the vibrations11. Biggest fear: Whales and bigger things than her at the bottom of the ocean. 12. Biggest fantasy: She wishes she could speak13. Bad habits: She’s a sneaky bastard and she knows it, but it’s so hard not to snatch up things she wants. Why else would she need so many arms?14. Since it’s you asking I absolutely have to do Karen now XD

Her name is Hezz and she is a kraken, possibly the last of her kind. She was found hiding in a knight helmet and later named Karen by the Marine Biologists who found her. Among them was Xiaomei a mermaid who made a life for herself among the human world. Since Karen can’t speak, Xiaomei taught her how to write in English and in Mandarin!

Which 3+ songs would make up a playlist for the novel?

I have a whole playlist for my monster comic organized by overall vibe, priest (Urien)/ demon (Draz), history student (Samuel)/ plague doctor reaper (Abraham), mermaid (Xiaomei)/ kraken knight (Hezz/Karen), forest god, and werewolf. ((Some couples still don’t have songs because I’m still working on everything) 

For some reason this song gets me thinking of my novel with my alien Rykx

O o f, honestly anything that gets my emotions going but I do have a few.
