It quickly became apparent to Harry that his request to the junior healer was not being honored, despite him using his most intimate smile and his best manners. The familiar sound of stomping from the hallway, the hush around the door to the wing, and the grim looks on the assistant staffs’ faces told Harry all he needed to know.

Senior Healer Draco Malfoy was on his way.

“Auror Potter,” he said from the doorway, voice icy. “Here I was, thinking you kept your promises.” He held his hand out for the clipboard, and the traitor of a junior healer who had gone to fetch him handed it to him wordlessly. Harry knew he had half the juniors under his thumb, but it was always worth a chance at avoiding his husband’s wrath. 

“I do try,” Harry said. 

“I don’t believe you,” Draco told him. He wasn’t even looking at him yet, but Harry’s insides felt squirmy and cold. “Why else would you be here with a hex embedded in your wand arm?”

“It’s a dangerous job,” Harry said.

“And yet I rarely get these delightful visits from your colleagues. I don’t hear about all of their gruesome injuries.”

Still not looking at Harry, he stalked over to the basin in the corner and washed his hands. The others in the room had resumed their own business, at least, and only a few of them were still watching the scene. The junior healer who had tattled on Harry was purposefully not looking at him, though he did look mortified to witness the scene.

“Well, Potter, lets see it, then,” Draco said. He stood over Harry, looking down, gesturing with a hand for Harry to bring out his injured arm. It didn’t hurt too badly, as long as he wasn’t moving it, thinking about it, or touching it. He winced as he lifted it to show Draco, and hissed in pain when he grabbed Harry’s wrist to gently turn his arm, inspecting the damage through his ruined sleeve.

So quietly that no one else could hear, Draco said, “I wish you would be more careful.”

“I know,” Harry said, feeling dreadful. “ I swear, I didn’t break my promise,” Harry said. “I didn’t jump in to the first dangerous situation that presented itself.” He desperately wanted to ask for a kiss, but he didn’t think Draco was in the mood to throw out his professionalism for his reckless, stupid Auror of a husband.

“Let me guess,” he scoffed. “It was the second.” Draco rolled his eyes, but the soothing way his thumb moved across Harry’s wrist betrayed him. Harry felt his heart squeeze painfully, and when he looked up, Draco was looking back at him with soft eyes. 

Harry couldn’t find any words to respond, so he didn’t. After a quiet moment in which Draco turned his arm again, checking the hex marks near his elbow, he sighed. “This will probably hurt,” he admitted. He tucked an unruly section of Harry’s hair behind his ear, then pulled his wand from his pocket, and began to mutter an incantation.

It did hurt, but Harry focused on the feeling of Draco’s fingers on his wrist, cool and dry.

During some RPs in the Ink Server™️ we came up with nicknames to differentiate between our two Ink’s, and we came up with Heart for ST! Ink and Bee for Hex!Ink!

And since bees make honey, well, this prompt basically drew itself :3

They’re having a sweet treat together :3

Fun detail: “Heart” wears a white heart pin (emblematic of his daughter’s soul <3) to differentiate himself around other Inks :3

How did Reaper and Geno meet? What were first impressions like?

They met while Geno was... busy to say the least

Let's just say he wasn't really having it.

Reaper started following Geno solely because he was curious about what the hell he was up to. Now he can't bring himself to actually get rid of Geno but jokes about it anyway.

Geno slowly gets attached but. It's mostly annoyance at the start.
