tango's new ep makes me feel like im watching an undergraduate engineer feverishly working in the library at 3am after chugging a 5 hour energy drink and snorting a line of crushed up caffeine pills. he's got the spirit of a frenetic cheetah running laps around its enclosure. im obsessed with him this is like studying a bug if the bug was hopped up on cocaine and committing acts of redstone hubris unforeseen by god himself

Hiya! Would anyone be able to identify any of these pretty things? (the first spider is a stretch because of the low quality, since I was too Freaked to get close, but worth a shot lmao)
(I love spiders but am also incredibly arachnophobic...)

Thank you for letting me know your location in your other message :)
Idk about anyone else but I can ID them ;)
The first fellow is a ground spider, though I'd need to see it clearly to tell you which one. Could be a mouse spider, Scotophaeus blackwallii, a stone ground spider, Drassodes lapidosus, or another similar species.
The second is a spotted sulphur moth, and the third is a noctuid in the genus Amphipyra, proooobably a Eurasian copper underwing.
And the last spider is a female zebra jumper!

Transcript:
Rider's Glenn, Chestnut Ridge Asa: What was I thinking? The horse I agreed to foster arrived yesterday. He looks so scared, poor thing. The rescue folks said they don't think he's learned any ground manners. I know how to care for and ride a horse... But I don't know the first thing about rehabilitating one. I should probably reach out to the trainer the rescue recommended. They told me he's supposed to be the best in the business. Ignacio: Uuugh… My head's killing me. Why did I drink that much?…

ok personal hc that jay when she needs to think she sits at the railing of the ship. her legs dangle off the edge and she swings them back and forth a little and she just focuses for a bit. the cool sea breeze flowing through her hair and she recollects her thoughts.
she thinks about her old family, about her time in the navy, but she also thinks of her newfound family, her passion and the driving force that keeps her going, she thinks about love and how it could be so confusing and twisted sometimes, but every time she looks at her crew she just, knows.
sometimes chip or gill would wake up in the middle of the night to find jay sitting on the edge, and they join her. sometimes they'd say nothing at all, and sometimes they'd think too. they would hang their legs over the water just like jay does, and they'd finally take a breather, their moments of respite together, and though jay likes her quiet time, this isn't too bad either.

The process of copper plate inking. You may experience some cool (unintentional) texture, but it all melts on the hot plate ✨.
