Justice for Gaza Campaign: Seeking Accountability for War Crimes
In a world where the horrors of conflict often unfold far from the eyes of those in power, the Justice for Gaza campaign emerges as a beacon of hope for accountability. Spearheaded by the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians (ICJP), this initiative aims to bring to light alleged war crimes committed by Israel during its actions in Gaza. Unraveling the Case The campaign revolves…

Also what are disabled people supposed to do? Your revolution fantasy reeks of ableism childish fantasies. Do you except people like me to just say "eh fuck it, I guess I just won't have my meds or anything once the whole system is overthrown" because let's be real here, no one is making autoimmune meds if a violent revolution is happening, no one is making wheelchairs, no one is keeping the medical equipment running.
Are you actually saying that its better to continue imperialist genocide across the world for your own needs, which granted, are entirely valid? Are you aware that there are disabled people across the planet suffering under the thumb of imperialism that also "provides" your healthcare who already have little if any access to disability resources? Do you know how many amputations are happening in Gaza right now? How many children will need wheelchairs, crutches, and community support and who will not get it because of israel's genocide sponsored by the united states? Do you have no solidarity with the disabled of the global south?
You do know that wars require logistics and production and people right? Revolutions are not fought with ideas and prayers. They're fought by people with guns and these people will need medical care after injury and etc. It's entirely absurd to make this claim. Even during the Russian civil war the nascent Soviet government was still running production of food, equipment, medical supplies, and other materials.
Can you not agitate? Not stand in solidarity with the disabled and genocided of the global south? You can continue to receive medical care while simultaneously being aware of the imperialist exploitation needed to supply it. You don't have to fight for imperialism's continued existence to do that. Your very real suffering and oppression under the current system is very much a strong case against its continued existence. You can continue to stand with the fascists if your medical care so calls for it but make no mistake: when those whose oppression supplies your wellbeing stand up against you, do not be surprised when their guns will be trained on you as much as on the fascists.

Welp, anti-Reylo and especially anti-Kylo Ren crap is starting up again as if we're still in 2020. And I have now seen multiple people either seriously or "jokingly" say he had evil genetics. And they claim to be anti-racist, anti-fascist, opposed to ableism, all that stuff. (Also, I don't like the "soft boy" stuff about him because it bores me, no matter how canonical it is, but when did he ever commit genocide? Genocide of electronic consoles when having a tantrum?)
Antis weaponising social justice rhetoric and playing 'more progressive than thou' whilst expressing a totalising, fashy worldview, name a more iconic duo.

Having heard a little bit about the ideas JRO revealed in the MTMTE notebooks, I really wish the plot with Tyrest had been about identifying and killing criminals/potential criminals instead of just a robot racism thing. Not only would it have been an even more interesting story, but, no offense, I wonder if it would've reduced the amount of toxic discourse I've seen/heard of people going "oh the villain(s) clearly represent real life bigots/white supremacists/Nazis/etc so if you like the villain it means you condone that stuff IRL."
Like idk, I've heard some really unpleasant recollections from my friends who have been in TF for years longer than I have + I've seen the way some people get about equating these fictional characters/plot to real life political issues. I kinda feel like if the story was more nuanced then maybe such people would have had less breeding grounds to be fucking weird about comic book robots. But weirdos who attack people over fictional characters will find a way no matter what, so that's not really JRO's fault. There are so many things he wrote as nuanced that fans just flattened into good-bad (or things he made 1D that fans accepted w/o critiquing in) so it really isn't his fault. He was just a writer doing his job and it was the fans who acted/act in a way that's toxic and insufferable and illiterate jsnxsnfkskxk

Hostages tortured to death. Parents executed in front of their children. Doctors beaten. Babies murdered. Sexual assault weaponised. No, not Hamas crimes. This is part of an ever-growing list of documented atrocities committed by Israel in the five months since 7 October – quite separate from the carpet bombing of 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza and a famine induced by Israel’s obstruction of aid. And yet while the western establishment media has been chock full of the most lurid allegations of savagery directed against Hamas, sometimes with little or no supporting evidence, Israeli atrocities are excused or quickly forgotten. Accusations against Hamas are endlessly reheated to paint a picture of a supremely dangerous and bestial militant group, in turn rationalising the slaughter and starvation of Gaza’s population to “eradicate” it as a terrorist organisation. But equally barbarous atrocities committed by Israel – not in the heat of battle, but in cold blood – are treated as unfortunate, isolated incidents that cannot be connected, that paint no picture, that reveal nothing of import about the military that carried them out. If Hamas’ crimes were so savage and sadistic they still need to be reported months after they took place, why does the establishment media never feel the need to express equal horror and indignation at equivalent or worse acts of cruelty and sadism being inflicted by Israel on Gaza – not five months ago, but right now? Israel's torture of doctors, its sexual assaults of Palestinian women, it's leaving premature babies to die after its forces stormed a hospital. Where is the outrage? This is part of a pattern of behaviour by the western media that leads to only one possible deduction: Israel’s five-month-long attack on Gaza is not being reported. Rather, it is being selectively narrated – and for the most obscene of purposes. Through consistent and glaring failures in their coverage, establishment media – including supposedly liberal outlets, from the BBC and CNN to the Guardian and New York Times – have smoothed the way for Israel to carry out mass slaughter in Gaza, what the World Court has assessed as plausibly a genocide. The role of the media has not been to keep us, their audiences, informed about one of the greatest crimes in living memory. It has been to buy time for US President Joe Biden to keep arming his most useful of client states in the oil-rich Middle East, and to do so without damaging his prospects for re-election in November’s US presidential vote. If Russian President Vladimir Putin was a madman and a barbarous war criminal for invading Ukraine, as every western media outlet agrees, what does that make Israeli officials, when every one of them supports far worse atrocities in Gaza, directed overwhelmingly at civilians? And more to the point, what does that make Biden and the US political class for materially backing Israel to the hilt: sending bombs, vetoing demands for a ceasefire at the United Nations, and freezing desperately needed aid? Worrying about the optics, the president expresses his discomfort, but he carries on helping Israel regardless. While western politicians and commentators worry about some imaginary existential threat those brief events of five months ago pose to the nuclear-armed state of Israel, Israel is quite literally wiping Gaza off the map day by day, quite undisturbed.

As a heads up, the Western propaganda machine is going to be much worse. Now that there's confirmation that South Africa are preparing to take Britain and the United States to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for complicity in the State of Israel’s war crimes and genocide on Gaza- we think that it's important to note that it's almost like clockwork that the propaganda machine will skyrocket with new anti-Palestinian resistance defamation and unfounded allegations levied to further hostility within our already divided communities.
Read more on South Africa's proposal here:
News sourced from Anadolu Ajansı.
It’s a no-brainer that we’ll see a sharp rise in pro-Israel propaganda, and it’s highly likely that there’ll be a crackdown on pro-Palestinian and anti-Zionist rallying. You see, the Capitalist hegemony is almost ridiculously predictable once you figure out how it functions and operates; the historical cycle of committing atrocities and subsequently excusing themselves with absurd lies of brainwashing propaganda. The United States and United Kingdom will certainly not take kindly to South Africa's intention to charge them in this international lawsuit- thus they will need a retaliation that gains more favour for them from the general public.
Expect more confounded accusations of antisemitism and Jew-hatred imposed on celebrities, organisations, journalists, even nations. Expect more fascist laws passed to silence Palestinian resistance support, and more Islamophobic fear-mongering.
Propaganda is not always easy to spot and deconstruct, so be sure to stay vigilant and think critically in context of current events. However the Imperial core are growing weaker, with such incredible numbers, millions of people, showing support to Palestine internationally- we are no longer easily fooled by their usual tactics. In the putrid face of propaganda, the Palestinian resistance persists.

Israel’s military actions in Gaza and the subsequent strikes by the US and UK in Yemen are unfolding rapidly.
Israel’s Offensive in Gaza: Nine Palestinians, including children and a baby, tragically lost their lives in an Israeli strike on a home in Rafah, according to Al Jazeera’s correspondent in the city. International Legal Proceedings: Israel is scheduled to present its defense at the International Court of Justice in response to a case brought forward by South Africa, accusing the country of…

Yeah your revolution is going soooo well, that's why we're stuck with Biden or Trump right? Two genocidal maniacs
"the revolution didn't happen instantly and didn't instantly solve my problems. Therefore, it has failed! The solution is to vote for the genocidal maniacs!! I am soooooo smart and such a good person! my name is uberliberal hitler, reichsmarshal of all the liberals in liberal city"
When you take a medicine do you expect it to instantly fix all your woes? When you go to the gym do you expect to instantly get a 6-pack? What an utterly infantile, idealist, amd defeatiat view of the world! The revolution isn't here yet? Then fucking roll up your gods damned sleeves and fucking start organizing.

South Africa yesterday: "The argument isn't about what Hamas did and didn't do because no matter what they did, nothing justifies genocide."
Israel today: "It's interesting that South Africa is overlooking the crimes of Hamas. Let's talk about the crimes of Hamas. I'm incapable of refuting allegations of genocidal intent so I'm just going to go on about Hamas. I don't care if we established that nothing Hamas could've done justifies genocide, let's talk some more about Hamas."

Alan Dershowitz, who is the lawyer representing Israel at the ICJ genocide case, was named in the Epstein papers that were released and is reported to have had sex with a minor on numerous occasions.
He also said it’s antisemitic to call him out for raping minors since he’s Jewish and since the “radical feminists” care more about his crimes than about the alleged Hamas rapes

this call was released anonymously (understandably) but my local Palestinian organizers who I literally trust with my life have endorsed it, and it seems to be gaining momentum in multiple cities, so I encourage you all to get involved:
"A proposal to coordinate a multi-city economic blockade on April 15th in solidarity with Palestine recently received overwhelming commitments to participate around the US and internationally.
The proposal states that in each city, we will identify and blockade major choke points in the economy, focusing on points of production and circulation with the aim of causing the most economic impact, as did the port shutdowns in recent months in Oakland, California and Melbourne, Australia, as just a few examples.
There is a sense in the streets in this recent and unprecedented movement for Palestine that escalation has become necessary: there is a need to shift from symbolic actions to those that cause pain to the economy.
As Yemen is bombed to secure global trade, and billions of dollars are sent to the Zionist war machine, we must recognize that the global economy is complicit in genocide and together we will coordinate to disrupt and blockade economic logistical hubs and the flow of capital."
ETA: since I posted, organizers in St. Louis, Seoul, Brussels, and the Netherlands have signed onto the agreement, so if you saw this before and your city wasn't listed look again. anyone with the capacity to do some outreach, and a few connections to start with, could take the initiative to bring their city or region on board. read the solidarity agreement and check out the resources, and if you know trustworthy people in your area who might be interested in this sort of thing, talk to them about it.
remember that this isn't a series of protests (although some cities are organizing protests in conjunction), it's a commitment to take mass direct action and to maintain a united front in the face of any state repression. many organizers are (and have already been) using an affinity group model to actually coordinate those direct actions. autonomous groups can take action on April 15th whether or not others in their city/region have committed to this agreement. just do your homework (look up know-your-rights info specific to where you live + general direct action safety tips) and take good care of each other Blockades: a short guide to getting in the way Basic blockading Practical Protest Techniques: using your body Blockading: a guide ACT UP civil disobedience guide
