30 October 1967
Despite carrying nether money nor passport, Paul McCartney tells a French customs agent "You know who I am so why do you need to see a photograph of me in a passport?"
Apparently it worked because he was allowed to do whatever this is.

There's room at the top they are telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill
If you want to be like the folks on the hill
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be
-John Lennon "Working Class Hero"
Who wants to bet that line started as "If you want to be like the fools on the hill"?

Stone The Crows - "Fool On The Hill"
Complete
(January 1, 1970)
Last song scrobbled from iTunes at Last.fm
This band has pretty much been forgotten, but though they only recorded four albums while extant, they were all kinds of notable. Their manager, for example, was Peter Grant, who had another pretty famous client. James Dewar, their singer, would go on to sing and play bass for Robin Trower. Les Harvey, their guitarist, was brother to Alex Harvey of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. And most gruesomely, if also most notably, Harvey was killed onstage in May of 1972, when he was electrocuted by a poorly grounded microphone.

There are so many great things I can say about American Arcadia (everyone should definitely check out this game), but honestly I think my favorite part is "Don't be a fool". The song is such a bop, 10/10 would bang out to this as my entire world collapses and I lose my mind trying to destroy Disney world
