7 Tips for Finding Cheap Flights to Qatar from London in 2023
If you're looking for cheap flights to Qatar from London, there are several ways to find the best deals. In this article, we will discuss some tips and tricks to help you save money on your airfare.
Book in advance
One of the easiest ways to save money on flights to Qatar from London is to book in advance. Airlines often release their schedules and fares several months in advance, so the earlier you book, the more likely you are to get a good deal. The best time to book your flight is between 3-4 months before your travel dates. If you wait until the last minute, you may end up paying a premium for your airfare.
Be flexible with your travel dates
The cost of flights to Qatar from London can vary significantly depending on the time of year and day of the week. If you're flexible with your travel dates, you can save a considerable amount of money on your airfare. Try to avoid peak travel periods like holidays and weekends, and consider traveling during the off-season. Mid-week flights are usually cheaper than those on the weekends, so keep that in mind when planning your trip.
Use price comparison websites
Price comparison websites like Skyscanner, Kayak, and Expedia can help you find the cheapest flights to Qatar from London. These websites allow you to compare prices from different airlines and travel agencies, making it easy to find the best deal. You can also set up price alerts to notify you when the fares drop, ensuring that you get the best deal possible.
Look for budget airlines
Several budget airlines offer flights to Qatar from London, and they are often significantly cheaper than traditional airlines. These airlines may not offer the same level of service or amenities, but if you're looking to save money on your airfare, they are an excellent option. Some of the budget airlines that fly to Qatar from London include Air Arabia, Flydubai, and IndiGo.
Consider alternative airports
When flying from London to Qatar, you can consider flying from an alternative airport. For example, you can fly from Gatwick or Stansted airports instead of Heathrow. This can be a cost-effective option, especially if you're traveling from a region where flights to Qatar are more expensive.
Join airline loyalty programs
Many airlines offer loyalty programs that allow you to earn points and miles when you book flights. These points can be redeemed for discounts on future flights, hotel stays, and other travel-related expenses. Joining these loyalty programs can help you save money on your flights to Qatar and other destinations.
Book with a travel agent
If you're having trouble finding cheap flights to Qatar from London, consider booking with a travel agent. Travel agents have access to exclusive deals and discounts that may not be available online. They can also help you find the best travel itinerary for your needs, ensuring that you get the most out of your trip to Qatar.
In conclusion, there are several ways to find cheap flights to Qatar from London. By booking in advance, being flexible with your travel dates, using price comparison websites, looking for budget airlines, considering alternative airports, joining airline loyalty programs, and booking with a travel agent, you can save a significant amount of money on your airfare. So, keep these tips in mind when planning your next trip to Qatar, and get ready to enjoy a wonderful vacation without breaking the bank.

“This projected growth underscores Dubai, and of course the Middle East, as the ideal location to bring together professionals from the aviation and tourism industry for the inaugural CONNECT Middle East, India and Africa forum.” In 2018, GCC airlines added 58 new flight routes – focusing on areas of consistent and substantial growth – according to research from Colliers International – based on a sample of 10 airlines including Emirates, Etihad, flydubai, Salaam Air, Oman Air, Gulf Air, Saudia, flyadeal, Air Arabia and IndiGo Airlines.
Looking at the UAE alone, almost 50% of new routes introduced in 2018 were to destinations across Europe – with the second largest share of new flights connecting the UAE with Russia.
Karin Butot, CEO, The Airport Agency, said: “With two thirds of the world’s population within an eight-hour flight from the GCC it is an ideal base for exploring some of the world’s most interesting and previously inaccessible corners of the world. And, GCC as well as various Middle Eastern airlines are making it even easier with the continuous addition of new and direct flight routes.
“2019 is set to be an exciting year for new routes – particularly between the Middle East and Europe – with various new and direct flights announced by UAE airlines to destinations such as Budapest, Naples, Prague and Belgrade as well as an increased number of flights to Barcelona and London.”
The inaugural CONNECT Middle East, India and Africa will witness a strong delegation of both Middle Eastern and European carriers such as Air Arabia, Oman Air, Saudia, Etihad, Flynas and Flydubai– as well as airports including London Stansted, Basel, Bologna, Vienna, Fraport TAV Antalya and Belgrade.
With a focus on the European aviation market, a keynote from Annabelle Lepiece, Partner for CMS DeBacker and CMS Belgium titled ‘European Union External Aviation Policy’ will discuss the ongoing negotiations for comprehensive air transport agreements between the EU and the GCC which are being hampered by protectionist voices.
Also taking place on day one of the forum will be a panel titled ‘Regional Focus: What are the opportunities and challenges for the Middle East region?’ will address the on-going geo-political challenges and volatile fuel prices affecting the aviation industry at present while discussing how new and emerging destinations are positioning themselves to attract and develop significant air passenger traffic.
Other highlights from the two-day forum will include a training workshop on the ‘Simpson Paradox’, an Airbus briefing session which will provide an update on the current Airbus product line and a China Southern Airline briefing which will discuss the airline’s dual-hub strategy between Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport as well as their cooperation strategy.
CONNECT’s online meeting system is opened, so that delegates can plan and book their onsite appointments in advance. Please log on to: http://bit.ly/2Vjs3Px for more details.
CONNECT Middle East, India & Africa will form part of the newly launched Arabian Travel Week, an umbrella brand comprising four co-located shows including ATM 2019; ILTM Arabia and new consumer-led event – ATM Holiday Shopper.
Arabian Travel Week will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre from 27 April – 1 May 2019.

Here’s How You Experience Dubai On A Budget
It’s one of the most fabulous tourist destinations in the world and has a reputation for luxury and opulence. That doesn’t mean Dubai is only for the rich and famous. It’s so much more than the glittering malls and luxury hotels, read on to know how you can experience Dubai without burning a huge hole in your wallet.
 1.    Fly Budget
Your trip to Dubai on a budget begins from the airlines itself. Instead of choosing the expensive Emirates or Etihad, go with Fly Dubai. You can select from a range of meals to have during the flight and the fun entertainment options keep you hooked during the journey. Known for its excellent customer service and efficiency, it’s the best way to reach Dubai at a low cost.
Tumblr media
 2.    Public Transport All The Way
Yes, there are the Uber cabs and hotel transport services to explore the city, but that’s not the way you experience a new place. The best way to enjoy and understand Dubai is to take the public transport and in this case, it’s the Dubai metro. Clean, efficient, and affordable; it’s the best way to reach different parts of the city and light on the pockets as well.
Tumblr media
3.    Learn About The Local Culture
When in Dubai, you make sure to learn something about its history too than indulging in gastronomic delights and retail therapy. There are many museums in Dubai to visit and quite a number of them offer free admissions.
There’s the Dubai museum which is the located in Dubai’s oldest building and the Car museum makes for a fun visit as well; it’s got an amazing private collection of vehicles. Dubai’s many museums will mesmerise you and take you on a journey through the land’s royal past and heritage.
Tumblr media
4.    Visit The Creek
It’s the simplest thing you can do in Dubai. The creek runs through the heart of Dubai dividing it into two parts: Bur Dubai and Deira. It’s where you can relax and take in some of the sunshine in the mornings and catch an abra (water taxi) during the evenings. A ride on an abra has its old warm charm and is a great way to see some stunning night time sights of Dubai.
Tumblr media
  5.    Old School Retail Therapy
There are two ways to shop in Dubai. You have the glittering malls and stores on one side and the souks (traditional Arabic markets) on the other side. For a change, visit the souks. You’ve got the Gold Souk with its mesmerising range of gold ornaments and creations, the Spice Souk where your eyes will water and nose perk up due to the dazzling range of spices available.
From gold and spices, you can visit the perfume and textile souks. With its many fragrances, scents, and the traditional oud; the perfume souk makes for an excellent shopping spot and the textile souk is your answer to some fashionable fabrics and designs. Remember to hone your haggling skills as they will come into use here.
As you can see, you can enjoy Dubai on a budget as well. From flying with the best low-cost air carrier in the Middle East to exploring the city sights, it’s a fun ride. Make sure you book your flight tickets with Cleartrip Saudi, they offer exciting discounts on tickets to Dubai.

Online payment solutions crucial to travel, as Middle East travelers book later and more often
At WiT Middle East, Checkout.com’s Remo Giovanni Abbondandolo (vice president of business development, MENA) presented a comprehensive report on the state of online payments in the Middle East travel industry.
During his exclusive presentation, Abbondandolo gave an in-depth view on the purchasing behaviors of travelers in the Middle East, where the opportunities lie and what some of the core challenges facing the industry are, as online payments begin to overtake traditional methods.
The Middle East is a powerful microcosm of how the travel online payments industry can develop, largely thanks to its very young, tech-savvy population (106 million between ages 15 and 29) who unsurprisingly, love to travel.
To set the context, Abbondandolo offered a snapshot into the habits of the Middle Eastern traveler.
One thing that came to the fore was the rising preference for shorter (less than 7 days) but more frequent trips throughout the region. Saudi Arabia stood out in particular, with 53% on travelers embarking on short trips, as compared to about a third in the UAE (34%) and the broader MENA region (37%).
When it comes to planning those trips, Abbondandolo emphasized that UAE and Saudi travelers are last-minute bookers. In fact, according to Cleartrip and Flyin, 67% of Saudi travelers book their travel plans via mobile device within the same week of travel, with 27% of those bookings happening within 48 hours of departure.
This may be due to the fact that international airfares to and from Saudi Arabia dropped by 9% in the past year, and the gradual rise of regional low-cost carriers – including Flydubai, Flyadeal and Flyna.
Not to mention, the rise of local (and localized) OTAs and metasearches, by the likes of Almosafer, Tajawal, Rehlat, Travelstart and Wego, have given customers access to instantly bookable flights and accommodation, shortening the path to purchase.
However, when it comes to making payments, Abbondandolo described the landscape as “highly regulated and fragmented.” He also remarked that the travel industry is seeing a slower adoption of online payment solutions as compared to other industries like e-commerce because of the typically higher transaction values associated with travel bookings.
As of Q4 in 2018, online payment approval rates stood at 5.13% in MENA, seeing an exponential increase from Q1 (0%) and Q2 (0.62%). According to the report, MENA now falls just behind the global online travel acceptance ratio by 3%.
“[MENA] is making great progress… but is still behind more mature markets,” said Abbondandolo.
Currently, online travel bookings are still dominated by traditional payment methods, namely Visa and Mastercard, which make up an incredible 95.25% of transactions. The remaining 4.75% are made up of AMEX, Paypal and others.
However, the landscape is shifting. Saudi Arabia recently allowed the use of debit cards for online transactions, paving the way for other countries within the region to follow suit. The kingdom introduced a debit card – Mada – in March last year, which saw a 39% adoption rate within its first three months (averaging out to 35.7% as of December).

It is indicative of the high local appetite for online payments and the pressure on regional providers to give travellers the ability to transact in their preferred methods. Inevitably, this will vary on individual markets as dominant payments methods differ – for example: Mada (KSA), KNET (Kuwait), OmanNet (Oman) and Fawry (Egypt).
As with any growth, the rise of online payments comes with a fresh set of challenges for the travel industry.
Trust is a dominant issue for many first-time users, who are perhaps intimidated by the prospect of no longer communicating through a traditional travel agent. The report advised optimizing the check out page, offering multiple payment methods, ensuring easy-to-access customer support channels (and options for emergencies), as well as guaranteeing a seamless user experience.
On the provider’s side, Abbondandolo pointed at a fundamental lack of understanding behind the importance of imposing 3D security measures – an XML-based protocol that acts as an additional layer of security for online credit and debit card transactions.
He said that implementing the measures would not only shift liability off providers should things go wrong, but it would also help merchants assess different risk profiles and identify abnormal behaviors.
Ultimately, travel companies will need to adapt quickly as online payment methods become ubiquitous, particularly in a region with one of the highest mobile penetration rates in the world. The report concluded that the implementation of local payments has the potential to add USD 95 billion per year to the Middle East’s annual GDP by 2020.
