Reductress is just spreading terf rhetoric now
The "joke" is that nonbinary people are somehow escaping from violence by being trans that we can opt out of fearing violence and don't fear violence when walking at night....
Like just yuck as a transmasc nonbinary survivor whose actually aware of the stats of violence against nonbinary people this just disgusts me...
Also I'm betting they have talked to zero Black trans enbies or men or women of colour about how being seen as "scary" puts them in danger from racist white people & or they're just assuming all enbies are white idk it's disgusting... There's just so many layers to the bigotry and white fauxminism of this "joke"
They've previously made posts like this so idk if they've got terfs on staff who keep trying to slip this in to pipeline people or people who think certain trans people they dislike facing violence including sexual violence is funny and that those trans survivors are lying and shouldn't be beleived.
They're priming their audience to disbelieve and mock nonbinary trans survivors. They're literally pushing the "people transition to escape/opt out of patriarchal violence like a fun game" terf talking point which isn't reflected in the stats of violence against trans people who face higher rates of physical sexual and domestic violence than cis people
Just "it's a coin toss!"
As a survivor fuck you
Like the comments section is full of transphobia and people going "har har they think they're in danger they're delusional " or spouting transphobic BS and a trans man whose talking about how he fears violence walking at night being called 'female' and misgendered like well done you've curated a comment section full of transphobes and people who think trans people aren't who we say we are fucking yikes
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
None of the transphobic comments have been deleted reductress seems happy to leave up comments calling trans men "female" and saying that trans people are a danger to children

Why do you call yourself butch, a wlw term, if the person you're married to isn't even a woman
Seriously, do you even read people’s about sections, or are you too busy making fake accounts to bypass the fact that I have anon turned off?
See, my about says: No, butch is not a “lesbian-exclusive term”, please read this and all the links in it and this.  I see how you used ‘wlw’ to try to sidestep the whole ‘lesbian-exclusive thing, but, amazingly…
My spouse’s gender is irrelevant to my identity. Just like I do not cease to be bisexual based on the gender of my partner(s) – because I am also polyamorous – I do not cease to be butch based on who I am involved with. My gender identity and gender expression are inherent to me, not dependent upon my partners. So that’s one (1) count of deliberate and malicious biphobia  in this ask. It is also one (1) count of deliberate and malicious transphobia, because “non-binary butch” is my fucking gender identity, which is not dependent on any other person, you fucking cabbage.
Even if my spouse’s gender were relevant to my gender identity and gender expression, @dadhoc is genderfluid. The pronoun patch on their jacket reads he/they/she, emphasis mine.Their gender identity is not fixed, and as a genderfluid person, their gender identity inherently includes ‘woman.’ So that’s one (1) of deliberate and malicious misgendering in this post.
Using a fake blog to get around the fact that I have anon turned off is gross. That’s one (1) count of deliberate and malicious bypassing of my clearly-expressed boundaries in this ask.
BUTCH IS NOT AN EXCLUSIVELY LESBIAN WLW TERM. Go watch an episode of Pose, or read up on Polari, or read any damn thing about ball culture, or just read the links that I handily provide in my header. So that’s one (1) count of deliberate and gross erasure of LGBTQ+ history, especially TPOC and QPOC history, as ball culture is heavily TPOC/TWOC/QPOC centered, in this ask.
Y’all have no idea how many of these asks I throw away on a regular basis.
Stop. Stop using fake blogs to bypass someone not having anon on. Stop misgendering people to try to score points. Stop trying to erase queer/LGBTQ+ culture and history because a bunch of TERFs on Tumblr started this bullshit that ‘butch belongs to lesbians,’ which has now morphed into ‘butch belongs to wlw, but not you, bisexual person with a partner who we think is the wrong gender’.
Your behavior is disgusting. Fuck off.

CN: Anti-trans & anti-intersex violence. End of CN. Credit: @sageusa on Instagram. End of Credit. Image Text: 70 % (percent) of transgender adults age 65 and older reported having delayed gender transition to avoid discrimination in employment. #TDOV2017 End of Image Text. My Caption: Gender transitioning is multifaceted. We are already our (a)gender(s). The transition is accepting ourselves (emotional transitioning). Some trans people socially transition by coming out and/or physically transition, with hormones and surgery. No matter the form of transitioning, all transgender people are valid. Here are barriers trans people experience: Ageism- Old people are often erased from gender-expansive literature, impeding access to gender affirming information. Classism- We may not be able to afford being fired or not hired based on being transgender. TWOC especially face employment discrimination. The sex industry is more accepting, but is often criminalized. Many places require gender therapy prior to receiving hormone therapy or surgeries. All that is expensive. Ableism- Gender affirming hormones are not compatible with some bodies due to predisposed health issues. Dyadism- Intersex people are traumatized by the medical-industrial complex via forced genital mutilation, hormone therapy, etc. Transgender Intersex people especially face obstacles accessing gender affirmation different than expected of them from birth. Racism- Gender affirming surgeries are often Eurocentric. Facial feminization surgery (FFS) may slim the nose, for example. TPOC have less same-race role models who have had gender affirming surgeries, with White trans people setting unrealistic expectations. Moreover, the Eurocentric model of gender erases gender nonbinary and genderqueer people, who exist in various cultures. Safety- Trans people may be reluctant to come out due to the increased risk of violence, especially against TWOC. They may fear intimate partner violence or, if incarcerated, being humiliated and assaulted by guards and put in solitary confinement. We should not have to risk our lives to be who we are. #tdov #tucute #fucktruscum #fucktransmedicalists End of Caption.

From: Transroots Toronto Date: November 15, 2017
To organizers and participants of the transgender job fair on TDoR (Trans Day of Remembrance):
We are a group of trans people along with allied queer people and people of color who organize around issues of violence in the trans community. We are writing to voice our strongly held objections to the transgender job fair scheduled to take place on TDoR (Nov 20, 2017 at the TIFF Lightbox). There are many ways in which your event is an affront to our community:
Exploiting a day of mourning:
- TDoR is intended to commemorate and grieve trans people who have died as a result of the prejudice, discrimination, and violence against our community. TDoR is intended as a day of community healing and compassionate ally solidarity. Under these circumstances, holding a job fair on this day is extremely disrespectful.
- Crucially, a job fair on TDoR detracts attention from the racialized nature of violence against TWOC (Trans Women of Color), street-involved as well as sex working trans people. This job fair also paves the way for TDoR to become a means for further marginalizing stigmatized groups, while allowing others to entrench their well-established social and political gains. We must protest such an act against the marginalized people in our community.
Trans violence as colonial violence:
- Especially on TDoR, we remember the colonial roots of transphobia and violence against trans people, which were first enforced through military violence and the genocide of indigenous peoples. The violence faced by trans community members today is a direct consequence of these military actions and the colonial state and society they created and continue to support, and it disproportionately targets our racialized community members. Therefore, having military recruiters at a TDoR event is a racist act.
- Furthermore, given the ongoing history of military and police violence against trans people, and of police indifference to anti-trans violence generally, having military or police present at an event specifically for TPOC (Trans People of Color) is an inherently violent act.
Historical problems of the advertised event:
- Framing this event as the "World's 1st Transgender Job Fair" is an absurd and grandiose claim that erases the hard work and dedication of organizers within the trans community who have tirelessly worked to support progress for trans people for more than 15 years, including organizing several local trans-specific job fairs.
Edit: We’ve noticed that after some criticism, the claim of being the world’s first transgender job fair has been changed to being the “1st Canadian Transgender Job Fair”. As stated above, there have been multiple job fairs organized locally in the past, and thus this claim is also false. These blatant inaccuracies show the need to work with community, instead of select individuals.
- Quoting Gandhi for a TDoR event is insensitive and historically problematic. Gandhi was a known transphobe. Also, he was made into an Indian patriotic symbol for his symbolic role in resistance against the same colonial forces engaged in military recruiting at this event.
Lack of transparent and accountable community-based organizing:
- The organization of this event lacks transparency. While there does seem to be organizational participation from a small number of trans community members, those particular individuals do not represent the general community, nor does an event they endorse necessarily support our community.
- In fact, many trans community members understand this event and this way of organizing to be actively harmful. We object to how our communities are tokenized and co-opted for political capital and how ‘authority’ to speak ‘on behalf’ of trans community is conferred to trans community members who defend the very racist, colonial structures that promote transphobic violence.
- The violence facing trans people is ultimately colonial violence. Holding a job fair like this on TDoR both intensively ignores the purpose of the day, while lending strength to the colonial institutions that made it necessary in the first place.
If the purpose of a “transgender job fair” is to support trans community members as an ally, then this event fails on many fronts, as we have explained. Allies have the responsibility of being transparent and accountable to the communities with which they are allied, and above all to avoid entrenching further harm.
Moving forward from a position of being an ally means rescheduling the Transgender Job Fair to a different date and proceeding with organizing it through real, substantive collaboration with trans community members -- not selective consultation. Allyship also means reconsidering the presence of police and military personnel at an event intended to support trans people, and racialized trans people in particular. Above all, being an ally to the trans community means being mindful of the racist, colonial roots of violence against trans people, and acting accordingly.

Correction: I was incorrect about the term 'transandrophobia' not being connected to Black transfeminism as Saint who popularised the term is Black /mixed race. Still the video I mentioned basically made zero mention of this or of the harassment Saint and other Black and Jewish Trans men and trans masc and trans and intersex people have faced including from Luxander's friends/colleagues within he whiteleaf network
I don't think it's a coincidence that Luxander who is part of the (white supremacist imo) whiteleaf network used the word "transandrophobia" instead of "anti transmasculinity" in that video as the latter is inextricably tied to Black transfeminism and everyone in the Whiteleaf network seems to be hell bent on attacking Black trans people and silencing and erasing them from online discussions.
Like the video was just so lacking imo because of the whitewashing. Like Salem Void or Professor Flowers would have been great people to ask for input on these issues but due to the ongoing racist attacks on them by said whiteleaf network ofc Luxander is just going to pretend their and other Black trans & TPOCs' oodles of writing art and tweets on the matter don't exist
the bar is so low for discussion of transmasc issues that people are saying that its video is the greatest when nah its basic as and seems to mostly be focused on desirability politics over discussions of violence and there's so many gaps where it's obvious that the whole thing has been whitewashed....
I mean I haven't trusted Luxander for a while especially since it was laughing and encouraging Xanderthal to "go hard" against Ethyl Thurston (who TBC I also have issues with due to her treatment of a survivor speaking out against poppy and zena) and accusing them of having 'an abusive personality disorder because she survived abuse herself and loads of victims go on to be abusive' just the sheer transmisogyny and abuse apologia of that.... but Now I'm supposed to trust that Luxander gives a fuck about trans survivors?
Nah the trust is gone you showed how few fucks you give when your friend /colleague is attacking a trans survivor. I watched the video I heared you laughing gleefully cheering "get her Xandy! " and was disgusted & realised you don't give a single fuck about trans survivors if your friends have decided they're the enemy.
Like why are some people trusting the transmisogynistic racist Whiteleaf network of all people to produce videos informing people about Anti-Transmasculinity and transandrophobia?
it's just making me confused like don't you see whose a part of that network or the heinous racist misogynistic ableist and transphobic things they've said and done to people? Why does this get a pass?
Is the bar really so low?
