#Draxum is trying mainly for Mikey’s sake

Mikey and Leo episode centered around Mikey wanting to push Leo and Draxum together since Leo’s the most reluctant to give Draxum any grace (for good reason!) But, thinking on the spot, Leo says he’s gotta go do something for Hueso and “just can’t hang out right now 😔” (yes, he says the emoji out loud.)

Mikey calls his bluff and now the three of them (Mikey having grabbed a weary Draxum along) go to Hueso’s to find that yes, he actually does have a job for him. Said job asks for Leo to go with Hueso to deliver multiple pizzas to this giant yokai quite a distance away, and Hueso figured it would probably go better with Leo’s help (emphasis on probably.)

Well, Mikey decides that this would be a great bonding opportunity for them and basically invites he and Draxum along. Unfortunately for Leo, Hueso doesn’t care enough to wave away more help, though he does side-eye the wanted criminal Baron Draxum coming with them. But who is he to judge? (This choice has consequences.)

The journey goes about as terribly as you’d expect, but at least the pizzas get delivered on time.

Hueso #Draxum is trying mainly for Mikey’s sake #Hueso is too tired to care about all this family drama but is reluctantly worried about Pepino #Mikey just wants one big happy family because - that’s just easier y’know? #he tries so hard to work with everyone’s emotions that he just wants things to be easy for once #he wants love and family to be easier than it is - than has BEEN lately #gimme that heart to heart Mikey & Leo moment in this regard #by the end Leo DOES raise Draxum up a bit from ‘complete distrust’ to ‘mild side-eye’ #but it’s a long ways off if he ever gets pushed into the family tier #and also #SO MUCH SLAPSTICK COMEDY and sarcastic comedy in this episode fr #and if you’re wondering- #yes they DO fight the Yokai monster they’re delivering the pizzas to #but they get paid so it’s whatever #kinda wanna attempt to copy the style of the show and make fake screenshots of this ‘episode’ ngl

So I made the turtles into The Magnus Archives avatars and Ngl I think I might go in with a full AU on this it just seems WAAAY too fun not to kekekek Def want some extra opinions/ideas on some stuff if you’ve got any!! Any-who, reasonings and other ideas below the cut;

Raph and The Hunt! I was stuck between Hunt and Slaughter for him, but figured Hunt just fit a lot better given it is heavily based around the idea of instincts especially with it’s whole predator/prey deal, being sure to take into account the canon “Savage Raph” that we know and love.

Donnie and The Lonely! With his outrageous smarts and lack of understanding in terms of mystic magic, I’d say this is definitely the most fitting of the fears for him. Despite being surrounded by a loving family at all times it wouldn’t be surprising if that just made him feel an even greater sense of loneliness.

Leo and The Eye! Leo’s a show-off, we all know this, and he often goofs off in moments of stress and panic. His ego’s bigger than Donnie’s forehead and he wears it proudly, but ofc, the fandom (me included) LOOVVESSS to have this be due to his incredible lack of self-esteem. I think of the fears The Eye would definitely have a hold on him if not being an avatar of it, since he’s so keen on preforming with this confidence. All eyes on me type beat, got that paranoia.

Mikey and The Stranger! I was honestly pretty split with Mikey. One one hand I was thinking web because of his younger-brother-therapy-ness, and how it can be taken as his way of trying to have some control over things for the sake of feeling more secure, but on the other hand he’s real acrobatic and in the air a bunch so The Vast could be interesting, and then on ANOTHER hand his whole art obsession could lead to The Stranger (which was actually recommended by a friend of mine, love you Vix) in terms of just un-canny creep factor, with a lot of his mental stability maybe resting on his artistic ability and a sort of perfectionism? That and the use of two separate kinda personalities (Dr. Delicate Touch and Dr. Feelings). I dunno! I just went with The Stranger for the time being.

THE OTHERS!! I was honestly thinking April falling into The Spiral side of things could be interesting, mainly because of the fact that in this situation she’s the odd one out and that whole freak-out over trying to be normal. Draxum I thought could be neat as The Corruption, Big Mama as The Web (cause c’mon, she might as well be Annabelle you can’t deny that), Casey and the Slaughter, Splints and The Corruption (have you SEEN his backstory??? Yeesh!!), aaaaand I think that’s all I’ve thought up for the time being!
