henna hearts
— pavitr prabhakar x gn!reader
Tumblr media
summary: You never realised how long mehndi would take to do. Pavitr's got all the time in the world for you, though.
content/warnings: fluff, slight hurt/comfort, ambiguous relationship, briefly edited, henna/mehndi maybe used interchangeably
word count: 1.1k
a/n: he's not Real guys he's not (mitski starts playing)
“You're tickling me…!”
“Just how am I tickling you?”
Though you held your laugh behind pursed lips, a snort escaped from the boy in front of you — the boy who was so desperately trying to finish your mehndi before it got too dark for you to go home.
“Pavi, seriously, we're not gonna finish if you keep doing that.” You tried to frown, but your face was stuck in the ache of a grin. He probably felt the same.
“I'm just trying to keep your arm straight!”
“It is straight!”
“It won't be when I have to do the other side.” You gave him a dubious look, and he seemed to mirror it.
“You're doing my whole arm?”
“I wanted to, but…”
“But what?”
Pavitr's gave you one of those unreadable smiles which you could never tell were teasing or not, looking at you through the dark tousled curls that shrouded his face. Without much thought, you reached out carefully, brushing away his hair with the very tips of your fingers.
His irises caught the colour of the decorative lights around his room, and the way his expression softened made it seem like he was looking at you with all the tenderness in the world. It was hard to look away, and you felt your heart squeeze with embarrassment as a quiet laugh escaped his lips.
“But what…?” you asked again, hoping your voice didn’t sound weird.
“You’ll probably have to stay if I do.”
“Ah…” You nodded, as if it’d hide your disappointment. “Well, you know I can't, so…”
“I know.” He gently lifted your hand again to straighten it out, the tip of the tube grazing your skin with a coolness as faint as an exhale. As he worked on a flower in the middle of your forearm, you noticed his own hands were stained. Pavitr didn't seem to mind, or mention it at all, so you decided to let him focus.
There was a silence between you two, all except for the muffled clatter of pots and pans in the kitchen, where his aunt was cooking. Well, you called her auntie too; in fact, you'd never gotten so close to anyone as you did Pavitr and Maya Auntie. A part of you hoped it went both ways.
“How'd you learn to do this anyway?” Your question made him lift his head slightly. “Auntie said you’re even better than her at it.”
A quiet chuckle left him, and he finished the flower off with a small circle in the centre. “My cousins at home taught me. They always begged to practice on me anyway.”
“Really?” The image amused you: a bunch of young girls drawing all over a younger and scrawnier Pavitr’s arms ruthlessly with mehndi while he begrudgingly sat still.
“Yep, and then I started doing it for them before Diwali, birthdays… Nothing big, just simple designs.”
You looked down at your arms, decorated beautifully with intricate designs that just somehow connected together. Whenever you thought he was done, he added more flowers and swirls and patterns, and suddenly it felt like the design would be incomplete without it. He was doing it from the top of his head too; if only you could understand how. All you had to do was sit and wait, and take care not to smudge it. Maya Auntie even suggested that you should avoid doing the dishes at home, so the colour would stay longer. Fat chance, you thought, watching how quickly your arm was being embellished.
“And you call this simple?” you muttered, almost shaking your head.
“Anything’s simple when it's for you, right…?”
Suddenly, he winced, but not at you. Pavitr’s hand hesitantly moved away from the part he was just working on, and there was just the tiniest smudge running across one of the petals. Your lips pressed together out of reflex, but you quickly regretted it when you saw the flash of worry across Pavitr’s face. The brightness seemed to leave his eyes; your reaction was the real mistake.
“Wait, I'll fix it,” he said quickly, reaching to wipe it away with the corner of his shirt.
“Hey, no no no.” You moved your hand away, furrowing your brows at him. “Why ruin your shirt?”
“It would wash out,” he replied sheepishly.
“Not for a while.” Shaking your head, you tried to keep yourself calm. Why’d you have to do that? “It's okay, it's just a little smear.”
Pavitr frowned. It was only slightly, but you felt your stomach twist in guilt. All you wanted nothing more than to touch his cheek, reassure him; not without messing up his face, you couldn't. He really wanted to get it perfect.
“You could just get a tissue from the kitchen, or something,” you suggested.
“It’ll dry by then.”
“No it won't, Pavi.”
You tilted your head down at him, trying to get him to meet your eyes. His fingers tightened around your arm, but he wouldn’t look at you.
“I’ll figure it out, okay? It'll still look pretty…”
“Hey, it's fine, it does look pretty—” The words caught in your throat as he reached up with his free hand, his fingertips brushing your face.
“…What is it?” you managed to mumble out, surprised by his sudden touch. His palm moved to cup your face, hand warm. When he opened his mouth, his voice was just warm.
“Could you stay? Just a little longer — it'll be worth it, I promise.”
There were a lot of things you wanted to say to Pavitr, as he waited for your response, but “no” wasn't one of them.
“Okay.” You tried smiling, feeling his palm against the soft of your cheek. “I'll trust you. Just don't tickle me."
There was a slight light-heartedness to your words, and he mirrored your smile. His was always slightly boyish and a little crooked, but somehow managed to hold the entire world in it.
“Thank you, chellam,” he murmured, touch lingering for just a moment before he dropped his hand. You’d never heard him call you that before.
“…What did you just say?”
“Beta!”
Auntie's voice rang out from the kitchen before he could answer, and you caught the playful glint return to his eyes as he turned to shout back.
“I'm almost done!” You raised an eyebrow at him as he turned to look at you again. “Huh?”
“Chellam?” you repeated, noticing the way his eyes, and his smile, widened when you said it.
“En chellam,” he replied, giving your cheek a soft pinch. You couldn’t hold back your snicker this time.
With your heartbeat in your ears, and flirting now in the equation, you knew Pavitr was far from “almost done” with your menhdi. He still had the rest of your arm to do, and a little mistake to fix, but it was okay, you thought. He’d figure it out — for you.

Understanding Ale Pak Vadi
What is Ale Pak Vadi?
Ale Pak Vadi, also known as Ginger Burfi or Ginger Candy, is a traditional Indian confectionery made primarily from ginger, sugar, and ghee. Sometimes enhanced with nuts and spices, it offers a perfect balance of sweetness and a slight spicy kick from the ginger. This sweet is particularly popular in Maharashtra, India, where it is often made during the winter months and for special occasions like Diwali.
The Cultural Significance of Ale Pak Vadi
In many Indian households, Ale Pak Vadi is more than just a treat; it's a part of culinary tradition that celebrates the natural bounty of ginger harvest. The sweet is believed to warm the body and soul during the cooler season, and it's often served to guests as a symbol of warmth and hospitality.
How to Make Ale Pak Vadi
Ingredients for Ale Pak Vadi
- 1 cup fresh ginger, finely grated
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
- Optional: nuts like almonds or pistachios for garnishing
Step-by-Step Recipe
1. Prepare Ginger Paste:
   - Peel and grate the fresh ginger. Use a blender to form a smooth paste, adding minimal water if necessary.
2. Cook the Ginger Paste:
   - In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat the ghee and add the ginger paste. Sauté it on medium heat until the raw smell disappears and it becomes aromatic.
3. Make Sugar Syrup:
   - In another pan, combine sugar and water. Bring it to a boil and cook until the syrup reaches a one-string consistency.
4. Combine Ingredients:
   - Add the cooked ginger paste to the sugar syrup. Stir continuously to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
5. Add Flavors and Nuts:
   - Mix in the cardamom powder and continue to stir until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
6. Set the Ale Pak Vadi:
   - Pour the mixture into a greased tray. Flatten the surface with a spatula and sprinkle chopped nuts over the top, pressing them slightly into the mixture.
7. Cool and Cut:
   - Allow the mixture to cool completely and set. Cut into desired shapes and sizes.

Exploring the Delightful Culinary Tapestry of Bengali Cuisine
Bengali cuisine, renowned for its rich flavors, unique combinations, and diverse array of dishes, is a treasure trove for food enthusiasts. Originating from the eastern part of the Indian subcontinent, Bengali cuisine is not just a collection of recipes but a celebration of cultural heritage, history, and a deep love for food. From spicy fish curries to sweetmeats that melt in your mouth, Bengali foods offer a delightful gastronomic experience.
Fish Delicacies: Bengali cuisine is synonymous with its love for fish. With the Bay of Bengal at its doorstep, the region boasts an abundance of freshwater and marine fish, contributing to a plethora of fish-based dishes. The "Maach-Bhaat" (fish and rice) combination is a quintessential Bengali meal. Must-try dishes include the iconic "Shorshe Maach" (mustard fish curry), "Panta Bhat" (fermented rice soaked in water), and the delectable "Ilish Bhapa" (hilsa fish marinated and steamed).
Rice and Pulses: Rice forms the staple diet in Bengal, and no Bengali meal is complete without it. Whether it's the fragrant "Gobindobhog" or the long-grain "Basmati," rice is often paired with a variety of lentils, creating dishes like "Khichuri" (a one-pot meal with rice and lentils) and "Shobji Diye Bhaja Muger Dal" (lentils with seasonal vegetables).
Sweets and Desserts: Bengali sweets, known as "mishti," are legendary for their intricate preparation and melt-in-the-mouth goodness. The world-famous "Rasgulla" and "Sandesh" are just the tip of the iceberg. Other delights like "Cham Cham," "Rasmalai," and "Pantua" showcase the Bengali expertise in creating heavenly desserts. Festivals like Durga Puja and Diwali witness an explosion of sweet offerings, each more tempting than the last.
Vegetable Preparations: Bengali cuisine is not just about fish and meat; it also boasts an impressive variety of vegetarian dishes. From the ubiquitous "Shorshe Phulkopi" (cauliflower in mustard sauce) to the comforting "Aloo Posto" (potatoes in poppy seed paste), Bengali vegetarian fare is a celebration of seasonal vegetables combined with an array of aromatic spices.
Street Food Extravaganza: Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal, is a street food paradise. The bustling streets offer an array of mouth-watering treats, from the iconic "Kathi Rolls" to "Phuchka" (pani puri) and "Churmur" (a delightful mixture of crushed puris and potatoes). The street food culture is a testament to the vibrancy and dynamism of Bengali cuisine.
Conclusion: Bengali cuisine is a tapestry of flavors, textures, and aromas, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region. Whether you savor the spicy tang of fish curries or indulge in the sweet symphony of Bengali desserts, the culinary journey through Bengal is a sensory delight. From traditional home-cooked meals to the vibrant street food scene, every bite tells a story of tradition, passion, and the undying love for food that defines the heart of Bengali cuisine.

Why Foreigner Should Visit Delhi Once in Life?
Namaste (Greetings) to all the foreigners! As a frequent traveler and Delhi resident, I'm often asked by foreigners if Delhi is worth visiting. My answer is always a resounding YES! As one of the world's oldest capital cities, Delhi offers a unique blend of history, culture, food, and hospitality that makes it an essential stop on any Indian itinerary.
In this blog, I'll highlight the top reasons why foreigners should visit Delhi at least once and provide tips to make the most of your time here. Also, explained how you can get a bike on rent in Delhi and roam around the city. Get ready for an incredible immersion into the heart of incredible India. Read this blog till the end.
Reason 1: Immerse Yourself in History
As the capital of several ancient empires, Delhi is built on thousands of years of history. From the time of the Indus Valley civilization to the Mughal Empire to British colonial rule, Delhi has been an important political and cultural center for millennia.
The incredible history here is visible through the many monuments and ruins scattered across the city. A must-see is Old Delhi, founded by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1639. Wander through narrow alleyways to the magnificent Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Just opposite, you can climb the minaret of the Red Fort for breathtaking views of Old Delhi.
Make time to visit Humayun's Tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal built in the 16th century. The Qutub Minar, India's tallest brick minaret, is another awe-inspiring remnant of Delhi's medieval legacy. Trust me, history buffs could spend weeks exploring Delhi's ancient treasures.
Reason 2: Experience Delhi's Vibrant Cultural Scene
Delhi isn't just about old monuments - it has a modern, cosmopolitan side as well! Delhi has a thriving cultural scene with countless festivals, events, performing arts, handicraft emporiums, and Michelin-starred restaurants to experience.
In February, Delhi hosts its famous International Kite Festival where the sky above India Gate is dotted with colorful kites. Come October, the city is lit up for Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights.  The best way to dive into Delhi's cultural spirit is just to walk through its chaotic bazaars like Chandni Chowk, Janpath, and Sarojini Nagar.
Make sure to catch a Bollywood film in one of Delhi's old cinema halls. Check events listings for classical Indian dance and music performances, usually free and open to the public. Delhi's cultural scene will amaze you with its diversity and liveliness.’
Reason 3: Eat Your Heart Out
Foodies Rejoice - Delhi is a paradise for those who love to eat! From street food to gourmet restaurants, Delhi's food culture reflects its diversity.
For budget eats, Old Delhi is the place to indulge in authentic chole bhature, parathas, curries, and lassi. The area around Connaught Place and Paharganj has backpacker cafes cooking Continental fare. Head to the food stalls in Chandni Chowk market to try jalebis, samosas, kebabs, and more.
If you prefer sit-down meals, Delhi has it all. Try a traditional thali at chain restaurants like Rajdhani or Sagar Ratna. For a modern twist, check out the fusion restaurants in Hauz Khas Village and Shahpur Jat. Of course, don't miss the kebabs at Karim's and the butter chicken at Moti Mahal.
With so many culinary delights, Delhi will tingle your taste buds like nowhere else.
Reason 4: Cruise Through Delhi on Two Wheels
One of my favorite things to do in Delhi is to experience it on a bike rental in Delhi! Delhi has plenty of picturesque routes perfect for cycling.
A great place to start is to get a bike on rent in Delhi and ride around India Gate and Rajpath. Escape the city noise by cycling through the tranquil Lodhi Gardens dotted with Mughal-era tombs. For more adventure, get a bike rental in Delhi to the Karni Singh Shooting Range with greenery and peacocks.
You need an operator like Rentnhop offer guided cycling tours of Old and New Delhi. Rentals typically cost around Rs. 300-500 per day. I recommend getting geared or fixed-gear bikes suitable for Delhi's road conditions.
Zipping through Delhi's wide roads and narrow gullies by bike on rent in Delhi gives you a sense of freedom and connection you won't get otherwise.
Reason 5: Experience Delhi's Legendary Hospitality
Lastly, Delhiites are renowned for their warm hospitality, which makes any visit feel special. Locals will invite you for chai, give recommendations, and help you get anywhere you need to go. Don't be surprised if you make friends for life over shared stories and laughter!
The best place to experience Delhi's hospitality is in its many friendly guesthouses located in neighborhoods like Paharganj, Connaught Place, and Nizamuddin West. Rather than staying in a big hotel, I highly recommend trying a family-run guesthouse to get a local perspective.
With amazing people, Delhi will truly feel like your home away from home.
Conclusion
As you can see, India's capital has so much to offer visitors beyond the stereotypes. From ancient sites to delectable foods to cultural experiences, Delhi provides a one-of-a-kind journey through India's rich traditions coexisting seamlessly with the modern. The next time you plan a trip to India, be sure to include a few days to explore the incredible diversity of experiences waiting for you in Delhi. Let us know if you have any other questions - related to bike rental in Delhi.

Staying Healthy While Enjoying Holidays and Diwali
Tumblr media
Now, the most awaited Indian festival is approaching! Yes, it's Diwali- the festival of lights, celebrations, parties, decadence, and family & friends gatherings. In addition, it is the time when people throughout the world treat their taste buds with savory foods, desserts, and cultural sweets.  However, most people end up eating a lot of calories during these festive days or family gatherings. That means, they consume more calories than they usually consume daily.
Thus, it is crucial to watch your calorie intake during Diwali, holidays, and celebration times. It is absolutely vital for people who have any medical condition, individuals who have some health & fitness goals, or older adults who live with assisted living services. Diwali and the holidays can disturb your health and fitness diet but it is all dependent on your calorie intake or your engagement in feasting. Whether you cook sweets and other festive items at your home or just buy ready-made items that are highly processed, it all depends on what you eat and how much you eat.
Here are a Few Ways for Staying Healthy While Enjoying Holidays and Diwali:
Try to Prepare Traditional Festive Foods at Home:
No festival is complete with traditional sweets and other items. Well, if you want to stay fit during the festival and holidays, you can try cooking those delicious items at home. In such a way, you can have full control over the type and quantity of the ingredients. You can skip the refined sugars, refined oils with unsweetened applesauce, and other things. It will also help you to be creative with the food items for making more healthy yet delicious recipes.
Consider Mindful Gifting:
When it comes to exchanging gifts during Diwali, you can think of something outside the box. You can be mindful of the gifts, especially sweets you give to others. Go for more healthy alternatives for sweets as a token of love and care for your dear ones. There are plenty of gift ideas that you can choose for your people such as an activity tracker, aromatherapy product, or tea baskets. This Diwali, you can also donate some gifts to the homeless shelter as giving back to society is the need of the hour now.
Indulge in Exercises Beforehand:
If you will be engaged in Diwali's festivities and holidays with family & friends, then it is recommended to indulge in exercise beforehand. You can complete your workout session, cardio, weight lifting, pushups, and other physical activities earlier in the day. When it comes to holidays overseas, you can try walking while talking with your friends or family members. You will not notice how that half hour of walking will turn into 5,000 steps. You can also conduct a group yoga session of a few minutes with your dear ones during the holidays, which will help towards every individual's health goals.
Set a Rule for Gatherings At Least Once a Year!
This is the lifestyle change everyone can opt for. This is worthy of strengthening the relationship with your family and friends who live miles apart and can not meet often. Rather than just sending quick Diwali wishes in texts or calls, you can plan to connect meaningfully. It will be more joyful for people, especially those who live in their older age and miss their children or grandchildren who live in different regions of the world due to prior family or career commitments.
The Final Word
Diwali is a time for new beginnings and sharing happiness. So, what could be a better idea to enjoy the festival by staying healthy? There are many amazing ways to stay healthy and fit during the festive season. The above-mentioned tips will help you to have fun during the festivities and holidays while staying healthy. Moreover, you can opt for assisted living options for your elderly adults if you are their only caregiver and there are a lot of things you need to manage this festive season.
ProTribe is the best source to find reliable senior living or elderly care services. They aim to provide high-quality care to your dear ones while allowing you to relax and have some time for yourself. Whether you want to enjoy a day with your friends during Diwali or want to go on holiday for a couple of days alone, ProTribe will ensure that your elders will receive the proper care, love, and empathy in your absence through assisted living.

Mutual Understanding: A Travel Experience Between Two Cultures
Introduction
Traveling is not just about visiting new places; it's about immersing oneself in new cultures, forming connections with people from different backgrounds, and gaining a deeper understanding of the world we share. When it comes to travel experiences, we all seek that extraordinary adventure that leaves a lasting impression and creates cherished memories. In this article, we will explore the concept of mutual understanding through travel, where two cultures come together to create an unforgettable experience.
The Power of Cultural Exchange
Embracing Differences
One of the most remarkable aspects of traveling between different cultures is the opportunity to embrace the beauty of diversity. Each culture offers a unique tapestry of traditions, rituals, and lifestyles that can enrich our lives in unexpected ways. For instance, in India, the vibrant and colorful festivals like Diwali and Holi are a sensory overload of sights, sounds, and tastes, while in Japan, the intricate art of tea ceremonies and the tranquility of Zen gardens offer moments of profound reflection.
Language as a Bridge
One of the key ways to connect with people from different cultures is through language. While fluency may be a challenge, even learning basic phrases can go a long way in breaking down barriers. I recall a trip to France where my feeble attempts at speaking French were met with smiles and warm responses, fostering a sense of camaraderie that transcended words.
Immersion: Going Beyond Tourism
Off the Beaten Path Adventures
To truly experience the magic of mutual understanding, one must venture off the beaten path. Homestays and local encounters provide an intimate glimpse into the daily lives of locals. Whether it's learning to cook traditional dishes with a family in Italy or helping with rice planting in rural Thailand, these experiences forge bonds that last a lifetime.
Volunteering Abroad
Another way to immerse oneself in a foreign culture is through volunteering. Contributing to local development projects or conservation efforts not only gives back to the community but also provides a unique perspective on the challenges and triumphs of the host culture. My time volunteering at an orphanage in Kenya was a humbling experience that deepened my appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit.
Challenges and Misconceptions
Navigating Cultural Differences
While the rewards of cultural exchange are immense, it's not without its challenges. It's crucial to approach different cultures with respect and sensitivity. Researching and understanding local customs and taboos is essential to avoid unintentionally causing offense. I learned this the hard way during a trip to Saudi Arabia when a well-intentioned gesture turned into a cultural faux pas.
Communication Barriers
Language barriers can be a significant hurdle when trying to connect with locals. However, don't let this deter you. In my travels, I've found that a smile, gestures, and a translation app can work wonders in bridging the gap. The effort to communicate, even imperfectly, is often appreciated and reciprocated.
Conclusion: A Journey of Mutual Understanding
In conclusion, mutual understanding through travel is a transformative experience that broadens our horizons and fosters connections that transcend borders. It allows us to celebrate the richness of our world's cultures while recognizing our shared humanity. As you plan your next adventure, consider seeking out opportunities for cultural exchange, whether through homestays, volunteering, or simply engaging with locals in a meaningful way. The world is a diverse and beautiful place, and through travel, we can all play a part in building bridges of understanding.
Travel Seeker Blog is a fantastic resource for more travel inspiration and practical tips to make your journeys even more meaningful. Explore their extensive collection of articles to embark on your own adventures of mutual understanding.

Eco-Friendly Diwali Celebrations in 2023
In recent years, there has been a growing awareness of the environmental impact of Diwali celebrations. As we approach 2023, let's strive for eco-friendly Diwali festivities that reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainability. Here are ten tips to help you celebrate an eco-conscious Diwali.
Tumblr media
Opt for Sustainable Decorations
Choose eco-friendly decorations made from biodegradable materials such as clay, paper, or natural fibers. Avoid decorations made from plastic or other non-recyclable materials that contribute to environmental pollution.
Say No to Firecrackers
Consider opting out of firecrackers to minimize noise and air pollution. Instead, enjoy the beauty of Diwali by lighting oil lamps, candles, and eco-friendly diyas.
Use LED Lights
If you prefer lighting up your surroundings, use energy-efficient LED lights. LED lights consume less electricity and last longer compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Send E-Greetings
Embrace the digital age and send e-greetings to friends and family instead of printed cards. This reduces paper waste and saves trees. Choose online platforms offering customized e-cards for a personalized touch.
Gift Thoughtfully and Sustainably
Instead of traditional gift wrapping materials like glossy paper or plastic wrap, opt for eco-friendly alternatives. Consider wrapping gifts in recycled paper, reusable cloth bags, or even decorative scarves that can serve as an additional gift.
Choose Eco-Friendly Diwali Sweets
When purchasing or preparing Diwali sweets, choose options made with organic and locally sourced ingredients. Avoid excess packaging and single-use plastics by buying sweets in bulk or making them at home.
Reduce Food Waste
Plan your Diwali meals mindfully to reduce food waste. Cook in moderation and encourage guests to take only what they can consume. Compost any food scraps to minimize waste and nourish your garden.
Organize Community Clean-Up Drives
Engage your community by organizing clean-up drives before and after Diwali. Encourage neighbors, friends, and family to join in picking up litter and properly disposing of waste. This helps create cleaner and healthier surroundings.
Recycle and Upcycle
After Diwali, responsibly recycle any waste that cannot be composted. Separate recyclable items like paper, cardboard, glass, and plastic, and ensure they are properly disposed of through recycling programs. Repurpose leftover decorations for future use or donate to others.
Educate and Spread Awareness
Use the occasion of Diwali to educate others about the importance of eco-friendly celebrations. Raise awareness among friends, family, and your community about sustainable practices that can be adopted during festivals. Encourage others to join in embracing a more environmentally conscious Diwali.
Conclusion
By adopting these eco-friendly practices during Diwali celebrations in 2023, we can contribute to a greener and more sustainable future. Let's prioritize the well-being of our planet and make conscious choices that minimize waste, reduce pollution, and promote environmental conservation. Together, we can celebrate Diwali while protecting the earth for future generations.

10 Tips To Choose The Right Homestay
Tumblr media
Tip # 1. Ask yourself what you need from your vacation
The above all else step is to conclude the sort of involvement you are looking for from your vacation. You could be searching for a fast end-of-the-week escape to one of Seaside Maharashtra's neglected sea shores from Mumbai or to a slope station in Uttarakhand from Delhi. Some of you should encounter what remaining in a Haveli in Rajasthan or a Provincial Home in the espresso estate feels like, while others could like to remain with the Bhutia people group in Sikkim or a weavers' town in Meghalaya. Choices are bounty and you can pick your visit in legacy homes, pilgrim Cabins, tree houses, boat shelters, and tents.
Tip # 2. Search for has who match your inclinations
Most have increased the value of their vacation by putting in any amount of work. A portion of our hosts are experts in the fields of bird-watching, natural life, and traveling, and can direct a few extraordinary excursions for you. Other people are incredible cooks and lead live cooking meetings for visitors on demand. A few hosts would be glad to remember you for their day-to-day exercises like a puja in the family sanctuary or Diwali and Onam festivities. At any rate, has are a gold mine of the set of experiences and culture of the area and invest heavily in sharing accounts of their home state and culture. So take advantage of this.
Tip # 3. Whom are you going with?
Individuals that you are going with generally figure out where you ought to remain and what offices you ought to search for. Assuming that you're going with your family and have children or seniors alongside you, you should check the better subtleties out. Not all homestays have lifts, forced air systems, or western-style washrooms. A couple of homestays, particularly in far-off locales, require a little journey that elderly folks might see as challenging to embrace. Numerous homestays permit you admittance to the kitchen, so you can prepare extraordinary dinners for your folks and a basic suji kheer for your kid. Do you have a pet and it makes you extremely upset to leave him/her in a pet hotel when you travel? Most lodgings don't permit canines, yet a ton of homestays do, so checking in advance is fitting. Also, if you're going as an unmarried couple, check with the homestay assuming it's all right with it.
Tip # 4. Make note of the conveniences that your favored homestay gives
Contingent upon whom you're going with and while you're voyaging, check the conveniences given by the homestay. You should check for the arrangement of climate control systems in a homestay in Rajasthan and warmers in Srinagar. Assuming that you're searching for a Homestays In Alleppey, Kerala with a sea face, If there see how the view looks, Amenities, environment, Food available, etc.
Tip # 5. Check whether dinners are accessible
Like we generally say, the most outstanding aspect of remaining in a homestay is without a doubt the tasty home-prepared food. Most homestays eat remembered for their tax while others, particularly the ones situated in distant areas, with fewer restaurants around, remember all dinners for their tax. You could likewise need to check for the cooking styles given by the homestay and check whether they'll be glad to serve you nearby food. On the off chance that you're a severe vegan, you could explicitly search for the numerous homestays that serve just veg food.
Tip # 6. Search for spots of interest, milestone, and transport offices around the homestay
We've arranged not many select spots with top activities. You should simply tap on the "Guide View" tab to empower the element and watch the screen light up like a Christmas tree. It provides you with a smart thought of the separation from the closest air terminal or train station and a point of view of whether you are in a shopping locale or a party center or some remote of Mumbai. To do this during your vacation, you should explicitly look for homestays around the area. For instance, Goa Burn from the sun is held in the Vagator ocean side and if you have any desire to remain nearby, you need to do is zoom into the ocean side on the guide and you can see homestays in that specific region. It simplifies your hunt, quicker and more straightforward!
Tip # 7. View audits and evaluations
"Notoriety is the money of the web-based world". We understand that you're searching for surveys and appraisals that you expect the homestays to have meticulously obtained throughout the long term. Considering that we have as of late come to the party, we chose to and by confirming each homestay and even accumulate the homestay experience ourselves. How could we do that? We chose a few top picture-takers and travel journalists and offered them a unique vacation a valuable open door, and our Travel Ninja program. We gave them a circuit to follow, and they explored for homestays and addressed 100-odd hosts there. Much of the time, the homestay proprietors were adequately warm to stretch out their friendliness to us and alluded us to different hosts. A touch of karma and good fortune wrapped up. We have required the work of organizing content for the homestays and set apart a couple as 'Highlighted' - these are homestays we accept are extraordinary, either as far as the area, the host, or the neighborliness and offices gave. We'd prescribe you depend on us, search inside the highlighted homestays, and partake in your visit! Remember to return and give us a survey on our site. It will assist the following explorer with pursuing an educated choice.
Tip # 8. Converse with the host
"I like your homestay and need to enjoy an end of the week there with my accomplice. Might you at any point organize a unique supper for us?" "Do you have a guardian who can prepare extraordinary feasts for my folks? Does my kid need an additional sheet material?" Have various such inquiries while booking and end up going around and around?
Through our new visit including "Converse with Host," we presently permit our visitors to speak with our hosts straightforwardly to have their inquiries addressed. In like manner, the Host might pose you with a couple of inquiries as well. All things considered, you will be sharing the space in his/her own home. It is vital to be agreeable, acknowledge one another and afterward make the booking.
Tip # 9. Utilize the Dreamstays component to save and share your favored homestays
If you aren't certain about your decision and need a second assessment of your family (consistently assists with getting the wife's gesture, right?), put your determinations on the DreamStays tab and inbox them to your mate/travel accomplice. It's far more straightforward than guiding them with names, lines, and segments on the site.
Tip # 10. Make a simple installment and partake in your visit.
Whenever you've pursued your choice, you should simply send a booking solicitation and trust that the host will acknowledge it. That done, you can undoubtedly make installments utilizing your Mastercard, check card, web banking, or Paypal.

EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT- HOW TO GET THE WORK DONE
Today’s topic is very meaningful for the businessmen: how to get the work done in your office, in the factory from employees, or labour!!!
Point-1: Even if something is difficult, it will have some solution. There is not one way to get employees to work, there are many ways. We need a way in which we can get more work done in less time without any resentment, without employees getting angry, with their cooperation and happiness. Do something that the employees are happy and the owner gets the work. The success of a businessman depends on whether he can get more work and good work from less employees or he is stupid enough to get less work from more employees.
Niti Kapoor manufactures modular kitchen in Gurugram. She found it difficult that her employees would go on a holiday for Holi or Diwali but would return after three to four days of leave. Twelve holidays of the year were becoming 24 holidays. Factory yields were becoming low and the employees were also suffering as their money was deducted. Reprimanding did not lead to a solution. Listen to how she got a solution for more holidays, what she did so that the employees were happy, the holidays were reduced and the factory losses also ended. There are easy solutions to many big problems.
Niti Kapoor spoke with the employees collectively and asked them which 12 holidays do they want and those 12 holidays were fixed for all so that they do not take any extra leave. So, big problems can be solved with a relaxed, cold mind, thinking and taking steps. Scolding every time, removing shortcomings, deducting money on more holidays, firing someone is not always a solution.
Shyam’s video gives a simple logic, do not think that it is enough to pay the employees. Do not think that if they are paid, they have to work and they will give their best. Companies all over the world do much more than salary for their employees, they give a lot of incentives and facilities to the employees so do the same for your employees. Help them in their tough times and be there with them in their happy times also. A happy employee is your agent forever.
Point-3: Don’t just give incentive to the sales team, give it to others also! Most traders give incentives, schemes but only to sales and marketing people. Result! The rest have no interest in working from the heart! Others are jealous when they see this happening.
Don’t give incentives only to the sales team, let others also make incentives! As I told you in the video, the tip given by you in all five star hotels is shared even in the staff where the employees do not come forward, like small cooks!
So moral of the story is don’t just encourage the sales team, give a chance to others also.
Point-4: “Give & Take Philosophy”
I took this method from Dale Carnegie’s book thirty years ago and applied it in my garment factory many times. This method works very well every time. Every two-three years, whenever I have problems with workers & staff about their attendance, their punctuality, their productivity, I would gather them in a hall and ask what do you guys want from us? The answer would be: sir we need a holiday extra in a month! We need bonus or increase in salary or medical-dental etc. And I say okay! Given! Now tell me what do I want from you? They themselves used to say that I want results in sales, no absence, and come on time – go on time! Not to misuse the property & the resources of the office. Then I would ask that if I give them the things they asked for, will you also give me all this? The answer comes with excitement: Yes!! And after that everyone used to work enthusiastically. Everyone feels it as their own factory, feels familiar! We just think about what we want! I love this method of Dale Carnegie to remove the rift between owners and the staff and I use it even today when needed. And I do this once every two to four years.

Jalebi Recipe: An Instant Jalebi Recipe Halwai Style
Jalebi is a type of fried dough that originated in the Indian subcontinent and is commonly found in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and other places in the region. These sweet pastries come in two basic shapes: straight or twisted circles. Jalebi has been around for centuries, and one of its original names was jalebiya which means sugar twisted.
Tumblr media
Jalebi, traditionally made with flour, sugar and deep fried in oil, is typically served on Indian holidays, such as Diwali, and even relished at the end of any Indian spicy meal. Jalebis are not just a post-meal dessert. The sight of crisp Jalebis after having some salty or spicy snacks in the evening is a sight for sore eyes!
And now, no need to rush to the sweet shop to buy Jalebis every time you have guests! You can make delicious Jalebis at home, using the high-quality Instant Jalebi Mix from Indore online.

Tips to consider while making Instant Jalebi
There are a few things you must keep in mind when making Jalebi using an Instant Mix.
●        First of all, when you are making a batter, you need to take care of consistency. If your batter is too thick or thin, you will surely be unable to make a great item. On the other hand, in case the batter is too thin, the jalebis will become harder or soggy in case of thick batter.
●        Always keep the flame low or medium when frying jalebis to ensure proper cooking. If the flame is too high, then jalebis will not fry properly. The main issue is that the inner part will remain uncooked, and you will not get the desired taste.
●        Always take care of shape when making instant Jalebi, giving it a professional look. Also, consider the size because larger jalebis will immerse in chasni properly.
●        Another factor is the consistency of sugar syrup. It is also very important to have a medium thickness of chasni. Immerse Jalebi properly in the syrup for a few minutes, and then you can eat.
●        Also, the chasni must be heated properly. Never dip Jalebi in cool chasni because it will not be absorbed then.
●        Like other instant items, including instant gulab jamun mix, instant pani puri, and instant khaman mix, instant Jalebi mix also comes with premium packing. So the leftover material should be tightly packed to ensure moisture does not affect the inner material.
Varieties of Jalebi
Jalebi – India's most famous sweet dish, is now popular in several regions worldwide. Due to its varied range, there have been several forms of Jalebi. From city to city or on the country level, there are several types a person can try out. Some of the most popular ones include Paneer Jalebi, Jangri, Jaleba, Rabdi Jalebi, Khoya Jalebi, Urad ki Jalebi, Imarti, and many more. You can taste the one you like and then have the sweetest taste of your life.

Besan Ladoo | Besan Ke Laddu » Dassana's Veg Recipes
Tumblr media
Besan Ladoo is a popular Indian sweet made from gram flour a.k.a besan, powdered sugar and clarified butter (ghee). Also known as Besan ke Laddu these are round sweet balls made by roasting gram flour and ghee together, and then adding sugar to make a thick pasty dough – that is then formed into delicious, melt-in-your-mouth balls. Make this decadent sweet during festivals like Diwali or Ganesh Chaturthi with my easy fail-proof recipe.
Tumblr media
More on Besan Ladoo
Besan is gram flour which is nothing but flour made from split and husked black chickpeas or chana dal. Gram flour is different from chickpea flour that is made with dried white chickpeas. Both have a different texture and flavor. There are many ladoo varieties, but besan ke laddu is one of the most popular, especially during festivals like Diwali. This recipe of besan ladoo is made with an easy method. Generally, the most important part of making a tasty laddu is the roasting method.  The ingredients need to be roasted enough so that they are cooked thoroughly which also releases their aromatic flavors. Proper roasting also helps in getting the correct dough consistency so that the balls will form and stay together.  Once you have that down, the rest of this recipe is easy! The roasting method I outline in this post, along with the tips below, will have you making tasty ladoo in no time. My trick is to dry roast the besan or gram flour first and then add the ghee after some time, opposed to adding the ghee right away. You then continue to roast it further until it starts giving a nutty fragrance before adding the sugar. Be sure to continue stirring constantly so that no lumps form.  I learned the roasting method I use in this recipe from my mother-in-law, who has been making tasty besan ke laddu for years.  Although it is easy, patience is required so that you don’t roast the ingredients too quickly. Patience and a strong stirring arm! This foolproof method will give you a laddu with the perfect sweet taste and melt-in-your-mouth texture every time.
Tumblr media
An Alternative Method If you are looking for a challenge, there is an alternative method to the foolproof one used in this recipe and it gives the laddu a slightly different texture. This second method, the besan or gram flour is roasted in ghee right away until it starts giving a nutty fragrance. With the ghee added first there is even more stirring required to ensure that the mixture doesn’t get lumpy and has the right final texture. For this reason, it is a slightly trickier method and is not recommended for beginners. Step-by-Step Guide
How to make Besan Ladoo
Find below my detailed step-by-step guide which will help you in making perfect besan ke laddu. Roast Besan 1. Take a heavy kadai or wok or pan and keep on a low heat. Add 2 cups besan (200 grams) in the kadai. Use besan or gram flour which is within its shelf-period. Make sure it does not taste bitter or has become rancid.
Tumblr media
2. Begin to dry roast besan on low to medium-low heat.
Tumblr media
3. Stir often so that besan gets browned evenly and does not burn. When you begin to roast besan, you will see small lumps in the flour. These lumps disappear later.
Tumblr media
4. Below you can see, the besan which has been roasting for 12 mins. You can see the color has changed as compared to what it was in the beginning.
Tumblr media
Roast Ghee With Besan 5. Then add ½ cup ghee (125 grams). Preferably use the best quality and fragrant desi ghee – Homemade Ghee is always better.
Tumblr media
6. Mix thoroughly.
Tumblr media
7. Continue to stir often and cook this mixture of besan and ghee.
Tumblr media
8. Keep on roasting for about a total of 12 to 15 minutes stirring non-stop. Depending on the thickness & size of pan, intensity of flame the timing of roasting will vary.
Tumblr media
9. The mixture will thicken and the color will also change.
Tumblr media
10. Soon you will see that the mixture will start releasing ghee and will give a nice fragrant aroma. Some ghee will float on top and and you will see a molten lava kind of consistency where the ghee is floating.  The mixture will also loose sides of the pan and become one. These are the signs that the besan is fully cooked. If you add the sugar before the besan is cooked fully then your ladoo will have the taste of uncooked besan. So pay attention to these signs. Once you see these signs, you can move on to the next step.
Tumblr media
Make Laddu Mixture 11. Remove the kadai or pan from the stove and keep on your kitchen countertop. Add 1 cup powdered sugar or castor sugar or boora (175 grams) and stir well so that no lumps are formed. You will get the best taste in besan laddu with boora or powdered unrefined cane sugar which is easily available in Indian markets and many grocery stores. For this recipe I powdered ¾ cup sugar in a mixer.
Tumblr media
12. After adding sugar mix really well. Begin to mix with all the strength from your hands. You have to mix this part vigorously so that the powdered sugar melts in the flour and ghee mixture.  Read the full article
