It's a pretty good college, my mother did her graduation from here and she's so happy for me right now. And moreover I got English hons (my desired course, so happy seeing my mothers reaction, right now.

So I didn't get my dream Delhi university college, instead got another one which is a decent college but yes not in top 5. And my parents have been very disappointed since we got the news and that has been making me so upset that I've cried thrice.

I heard my mother say horrible things about me to my maternal grandmother and I just broke down in the bathroom.

I can still get a better college in coming rounds but it seems that for my parents all I've been is a huge disappointment.

Currently I'm already enrolled in a university in whose entrance I got AIR 48 and they were so proud of me then, and now it's the complete opposite.

My best friend didn't get alloted a college in this round and I should be grateful that atleast I'm officially in delhi university but i can't help but feel miserable.

My father probably noticed how upset I've been and he told me not to panic despite his initial reaction, the college im allotted is a good one and that he's there with for further rounds of counselling and whatever happens, it'll be all okay.

So I finally got some confidence in myself and my scores in CUET. I hope this can give some people confidence too, it's okay if you didn't get alloted your dream college. Be patient and wait for further rounds, we're in this together.
