My idea of What would happen if Izuku was a Girl.
(though there's gonna be a li'l bit of side-sauce to keep it close to canon, little disclaimer here for that)
People say Katsuki's going to be a great Hero for standing up for Izu, because "she's a little Quirkless angel! She does so well in her classes and looks so adorable!"
But on top of that she's going to get put on the side at pe, the bullies are still going to be assholes, but you're also going to get shady shit about people saying she's got crushes on random guys just for looking at them, or say "she acts innocent but she's a whore".
Not to mention ALL MIGHT. THE BLATANT SEXISM!
Though Izu still gets ofa because All Might is really reminded of Nana because Izu gets her hair straightened once a month by the same people who style her mother's hair and if Inko looks like Nana but Pudgy Angel? Izuku's the spitting image of her.
(This both helps and hinders... We'll get there in a sec, don't you worry.)
So Katsuki is actually more respectful and, tbh, a little scared of Izuku in this AU: his mother and his "Auntie Inko" are Undeniably Queens so he's like "I don't fully believe you'll be able to be a Hero but you're my sis so I'll kinda support you, but also I've seen you get angry, so I probably believe a bit [a lot] more."
Izuku's a girl, who's had to handle bullies, she freezes at the gate, but as soon as she's going in? She's In GO GO GO MODE!
(though then she breaks her arm and leg with ofa and Katsuki's the one with the immediate answer of "it's be from all that training you were doing after school leading up to the exam! Of course I noticed, Dekizu, you're my sister!" Before walking her home, as Ochako's still wanting to offer some of her points because she'd heard that Izu thinks she hasn't got any points.)
You think Inko doesn't know what's happening with her baby? Hah! Izu and Inko have That Bond, so Inko helps Izu tell Katsuki, because they both know All Might, for all of his intelligence and focus, can miss The Most Obvious Stuff.
So, UA. Tenya apologises, they still become friends, but he's also a bit more chivalrous towards her and, well...
M*neta is kicked by at least Lunchtime because he's So Clearly trying to eye up Izu's skirt because she's sat in front of him
If not, Katsuki goes Big Bro Mode when he hears M*neta intentionally dropping his stationary just to peer up skirts. This is Bakugo Family Sibling Mode, the only reason he lets M*neta go is Izuku saying a very clear, very soft "Katsuki, let him go, the teachers can handle it."
Aizawa Does Handle It: With Expulsion and A Record.
(I sleep so well at night knowing M*neta will Get No Ladies, at all.)
AND HERE'S WHERE THAT "LOOKS LIKE NANA" STUFF CAUSES STUFF.
Because Tomura! Sees Izuku! And both immediately proclaims her a pos, but also is like "Of course she had Another Family, if I kidnap you, I could wreak that family."
Thank God Kurogiri's there to go "Hon, we've got no time for that" and yeets him outta there.
This Becomes A Theme.
Sports Fest goes similarly, but Tenya's so flustered facing Ochako, Izu, Mei and Fumikage as Fumikage is like "guys, I'm gay, this is not the start of a harem", like that one picture of the dude on the cheerleading team surrounded by the cheerleaders.
Also No Grapist, No Cheerleading.
(srsly Denki is friends with a Slightly-Sis-Con Katsuki, anyone who thinks he'd try getting someone to help pull that? Even if he was supposedly as bad as M*neta, KATSUKI.)
(srsly, even if I'm not 100% fond of Canon!Katsuki, not only is Fandom!Katsuki usually better, All Katsuki Versions CHUG that Respect Women Juice.)
Also Tenya has a crush.
Anything else I can think of?
...sports, internships... Stain definitely has some kind of Lady Respect Juice...
OH!
Torino's also like "Nana?" But calls Izu "Young Lady?" When they meet.
Also Katsuki Clearly looks to/at Izu when thinking about anything, so the League's like "two birds one stone"... Yeah.
Also AFO wants to meet Izu and I'd Adore some Darth Vader "Ur my kid" stuff but Press X To Doubt.
Regardless, AFO is caught and All Might Retires.
(ToshInko??? Nah. Well? Maybe? Depends how much Toshi saw Nana as a mum.)
Anyway: stuff's basically pretty much the same, but for the low-key sexism and the fact End-a-W* probably would be pushing Shouto towards Izu which means those two end up with more of a sibling bond, like Katsuki and Izuku, because That Guy Really POURS HIS JUICE DOWN THE DRAIN!
(Anything else?...
Nah. I'm an All-Izu's-Age×Izu shipper usually, so idk what pairings we'd really end up with, LOL.)

Ort, how do u think the other links would react to botws powers? (Magnesis, statis, etc) BC.. I'm not sure any other link cld do smthn exactly like that. I'd imagine one day for whatever reason they gotta get to the top of a mountain and as they're readying to climb wilds like.. I got this. He just fucking statis's a rock, hits it until his weapon breaks, climbs on, then fucking YEETS outta there.
Ah I’m sorry for not answering sooner - I’ve been rather unwell and yesterday was just, a trip. If you will. But I am good now (or at least well enough to answer some asks - so let’s do this!)
****
As for the runes on the Shiekah Slate - I’ve talked a bit about them before in an old ask, mainly address Stasis and the implications of controlling time; namely, how Time would react to such a power.
However, I think once the initial questioning of stasis dies off (and once the details of the runs are discussed), it (like the other runes) becomes a handy, and somewhat mischievous, way for the group to accomplish goals.
I think stasis is a gate to many adventures like the one you mentioned - “yeeting” yourself and/or others incredible distances, knocking things into next week for “science,” etc. Wind and Legend definitely have a great time and, based off some old fan art and a subsequent canon addition from Jojo, Warriors finds use in it as well.
Bombs are bombs and the fact that Wild has an endless amount is something to be jealous of.
Magnesis is fun - treasure hunting is something I think Wild and Hyrule have a lot of fun doing. And you know (you knoooow) Wild has used Magnesis on Twilight’s cuff to drag him around unexpectedly. (He wouldn’t dare do it to Time’s armor)
The picture rune I think has enough canon and fanatt material to speak for itself.
Cryonisis - fun during water games, snowball fights, and keeping food cold. Also good for helping your teammates who can’t swim up water falls climb waterfalls. I think it’s the least annoying of all the runes when it comes to messing around/playing jokes. If anything, it’s pretty useful in day to day life.
As for the Master Cycle Zero......... :>

@suddenly-im-respecsable asked: alright fizz, hurt the bois for me ‘ hey, i’ve got you. it’s okay. ’ but don’t kill anyone and tag me ;)
Ohoho, that’s a good one. okay.
i can safely assume y’mean al n race lmao
I went canon period for this
————
I Think I’ll Stay
Race finds Albert outside the lodgehouse, much later than normal. The reason isn’t what Race was hoping.
warnings: evidence and mention of abuse, definite cursing.
Pairing: Ralbert yeet
Angst with a small fluff ending I can’t help it
it’s also kinda long and I’m on mobile so suffer
————————————
Race was on his tiptoes, trying to make note of every kid he saw as they got dressed for the day and talked to one another. He’d counted almost everyone.
“You seen Al yet?” He asked Finch, who was doing the same as him--probably having more luck, being the taller newsie of the two of them.
Finch narrowed his eyes over the crowd of boys. “Mmh. No. Don’t he live with his fam’ly though?”
Race shrugged. “Yeah, but he usually gets here early. His hat ‘n vest are here.”
“He’s probably jus’ runnin’ late then, Racer.” Finch gave him a sympathetic smile. Race did his best to return it.
Only when everyone in the house was on their way to the circulation gate did Race and Finch finally leave. Finch squeezed Race’s shoulder. He instantly felt better that he had secretly told Finch about he and Albert, thankful for the small reassurances he gave him.
“See? He’s jus’ here,” Finch said, opening the door. Race peeked from behind Finch’s shoulder to see Albert sitting on the curb, his head perched on his hands. Race’s eyebrows furrowed.
“You go on ahead, Cortes,” Race nodded to Finch, who nodded right back with an expression a bit more tight-lipped than it had been a moment ago.
“Hey, Albie?” Race approached him. “Why were ya late? Ain’t nice to freak me out like that.”
He didn’t get a response, so Race sat down next to him so he could see his face. His eyes widened.
So that explained why he had been facing away from the house.
Albert was sporting a fresh, huge black eye, and there was a uneven purple mark around his jaw. A red imprint of a hand was on the other side of his face, plus his cheekbone was split. A small line of blood was running down from the gash. The boy’s eyes were glassy and unfocused, like he wasn’t really there.
“Al. Albie,” Race’s voice wavered, and he shook Albert’s shoulders lightly. “Hey, ya there? C’mon, talk t’me...”
For a few moments Race got no reaction, Albert still staring straight forward at nothing even with Race shaking him. Then suddenly he came to life, scrambling away from Race and breathing hard. His eyes still hadn’t changed.
“P-please, I’m sorry, okay? Just stop, please, ‘m beggin’...” Albert stammered, holding an arm out in defense of something that wasn’t there.
Race held up his hands, doing his best to show his boyfriend that he wasn’t a threat. “Albie, it’s just me. Just me. I’ve got you--s’okay,” he reached for Albert’s hands.
The redhead shook himself, eyes blinking their cloudiness away. Only guilt remained in his expression. “Race--God--I didn’t mean ta scare you, I’m sorry,” he said softly, grabbing Race’s hands.
Race scoffed. “Like that’s the biggest problem here. What the hell happened to you?” He hugged Albert close, both of them still sitting on the curb.
“I...h-he...” Albert managed to say before his eyes lost focus again. He went quiet just as soon as he had started talking.
Race switched how he was sitting, positioning himself in front of Albert. He cupped his face softly. “Focus on me. You ain’t gonna be hurt here, okay? Okay? Please, Albie, come back...” Race couldn’t stop himself from wrapping Albert in a hug again. It was killing him to see him this way with no explanation, his heart couldn’t take it.
He felt tears of relief prick his eyes when he felt Albert hug him back.
“I did it again, didn’t I,” Albert said, and Race could feel the boy’s jaw tightened against his back. “Shit. I needa get over this.”
Race pulled back. “Al. Get over what?” Race squeezed his hands. “I’m right here with ya. You ain’t going anywhere, neither am I.”
Albert squeezed back, visibly trying to keep his breathing steady. His eyes were fierce despite his defensive expression. “My pops came back this morning, which already a bad sign, y’know, since he normally comes back from work, but he didn’t. And he was drunk, okay, which was unusual. Look, my pops can get mad, whaps me sometimes when I’m bein’ a smartass, but this ain’t a normal thing. He starts sayin’ this shit about Mom, sayin’ how she got herself killed, this fuckin’ bullshit--”
Race squeezed his hands again. Albert's eyes had wandered—he’d gotten lost in his own recounting of events. A vein was popping out on his forehead, and his shoulders were tense. He took a deep breath and did his best to focus back on Race.
“Sorry. He just started sayin’ this shit and so I cussed him out. I was real mad, Racer. I dunno if I’d ever been that mad before. And then he jus’—starts wailin’ on me. Outta nowhere. My brothers were already out at work, an’ I was alone with him and I couldn’t fight back an’ I was scared which I hated and weak and it hurt an’—“
Albert’s angry expression evaporated when he noticed Race was crying. He couldn’t help the tears as they nearly poured from his eyes, their numbers outweighing their sound. He could hear his heart pounding and cracking at the same time. A pair of arms wrapped around him, and he felt Albert’s lips kiss his cheek.
“I’m sorry, Sunshine, I don’t wanna scare you. I shouldn’t have said nothin’,” Albert murmured into his neck. Race’s eyebrows furrowed as he pulled himself out of Al’s embrace, shaking his head.
“Albie, don’t apologize for somethin’ like that. Ever, a’right?” Race stared straight at the other boy’s eyes, even though they were avoiding his own. “You shouldn’t ‘a had to go through that. No one should.”
Albert’s eyes were still on the ground. “Okay. Jus’ don’t like seein’ you upset, that’s all.”
“If I wasn’t upset, that’d be a problem. Now. I’m gonna get ya cleaned up, okay? Think Kloppman’s got ice somewhere, also some bandages. Plus,” he felt a smile sneak onto his features, and he held Albert’s chin so he’d actually look at him. “You’re sharin’ my bunk tonight.”
Race watched Albert’s cheeks practically light up with color. “Race, what? No, I—we—“
“Ain’t no way I’m letting you go home tonight. C’mon, Al, I know you’ll like it.” His smile turned into his famous cheeky grin, and Al’s went to his famous blush-adorned deadpan.
“Only if you let me sell today,” he countered, poking Race’s nose. “Ain’t born yesterday—I know bruises add sympathy.”
Race pouted. “Fine. Lemme baby ya for the next thirty minutes and then we’ll go down to the gate.” He stood, offering his hands to Albert, who took them eagerly and hoisted himself up with a wince. “I gotta go back in the lodge anyways—forgot my cigar.”
“You? Forgettin’ your cigar? Damn, I musta had you worried,” Albert managed to say with a straight face. Race fought the urge to whack him.
“Yeah, ya did, okay? Shut it.”
“Yeah, okay, Mr. I Want Al To Share My Bunk.”
“Ya didn’t disagree, y’know.”
“Okay, you shut it, Sunshine.”
