Scrappy-Doo Daily Dose #2

Dose #1 (Jan 27th to Feb 3rd-sorry for dropping the ball, guys! )

Scrappy is full of life in this picture. Reluctant Werewolf has a special place in my heart as one of the first Scooby media I was EVER acquainted with. I didn’t need to recognize Googie or fully understand grown up relationships to know that she is a good person who genuinely adores Shaggy and who Shaggy loves right back. They’re not a perfect lovey-dovey couple, they bicker...but it’s not an unhealthy kind. I mean, if nothing else Reluctant Werewolf had a really healthy, interesting BF GF relationship I believe between Shaggy and Googie. This is just SO Scrappy. I love the energy. Shaggy really didn’t like being a werewolf so losing himself in something he’s passionate about is awesome. Great work!

2. Scrappy Doo, by Zigwolf

Can I just say how much I adore “AU” looks for Scrappy? The fur shade, the fangs...it’s all not quite the Scrappy I know...it’s a new Scrappy. A new style. The little round collar just accentuates that :3.

3. Scrappy doo!! by Wolftales158Art

I love the lights in Scrappy’s eyes. Really adds soul to an already spunky character. Scrappy’s got a ton of spunk, and it comes from a big heart. Spunky big hearted boy. Thank you, Wolftales. The ink statements are a nice touch too!

The amount of care put into this is just jaw dropping. The shiny presents. the ‘N M’ as oppose to ‘W N’. :D

Scrappy’s smile, the blush on Fred’s cheeks...LOVE! (This is based on ‘Nutcrakcer Scoob’ if anyone wants to know)

So for those of you who don’t wanna click, it’s another “AU” pic of Scrappy. This version of the boy is on all fours, but just LOOK at that expression...it’s a big grin, and does he look PUMPED FOR A MYSTERY! The sunshine shining around him is just great. Thanks psycho!

6. Time Heals, By The Grim Writer

“Set after Scooby Doo Meets The Boo Brothers) Shaggy lies awake one night, contemplating everything normal and paranormal that has happened in his young life. Memories begin to haunt the beatnik, memories ranging from simpler days of driving around the country in a brightly painted van solving mysteries, to more recent days spent catching ghosts with the love of his life..."

This is a Shaggy-centric fic, but Scrappy is a key supporting character along with Scooby. I love his subplot and the slice of life shenanigans of the most energetic boy on this side of...well, I dunno. He’s really energetic! Except stargazing. Loved the description of him staying up to stargaze and then falling asleep :D.

7. Propinquity, by Crystal Rose of Pollux

Summary: [Original 13 Ghosts 'verse, collection of oneshots] Two meddling reporters/sleuths and two talking dogs crossed paths with a child grifter and an immortal warlock one cold day in Tibet, and their lives were never again the same. This is a series of slice-of-life oneshots about this little patchwork family of monster-catchers, some episode-based and some independent.

In this Vignette: [Based on episodes 3 & 4] What's left for a bunch of meddling kids and dogs to do once they find out that their mentor is, in fact, the most powerful warlock in the world? ...And what's left for the warlock to do, too?

This is a fanmade interquels/Sequels to 13 Ghosts. It acknowledges Scrappy, so that’s a plus on Curse of the Thirteenth Ghost!
