It wasn’t their first case that dealt with drugs being either at the core or a strong element. Being on an island, with things getting imported all of the time, made the drug game a real hurricane at times. 

This latest case, however, revolved around the network of distribution. That’s where his team was meeting dead ends. No one was really willing to talk to them, which was understandable. And those who did...didn’t have much of what they were looking for.  

Danny tried asking Toast, but that was a dead end too. But Danny still had one more ace up his sleeve. 

He decided to go on his own, and in his civvies, to improve his chances of getting the info he needed. 

“You know, initially I came here to ask you a few serious questions in regards to help me in my work. But I honestly want to start this conversation off asking what your conditioning routine is that can keep your hair from looking like a rat’s nest in this humidity. Cos it’s still as impressive as the first time I saw it.”
