Some months passed, and Marina has fully moved to Henford-on-Bagley with her grandma Carmen. Of course they couldn't stay at the old Morosa-Bell farm, where Marina's uncle is still living along with his wife, son and animals (and Michael Bell's ghost). But Carmen has much money on her pockets thanks to her fame as expert archaeologist, so she was more than able to buy an almost fully furnished house in Cobblebottom Street. She even has chickens!

Introductions: The Goths / The Crumplebottoms

So sorry it took me so long to continue! I've been swamped with work! But continuing on, the next family are the Goths/Crumplebottoms; a pair of sisters who live in this adorable little cottage with Cornelia's two cats.

Cornelia Goth - Elder

Mother to the previously introduced Mortimer Goth, Cornelia and her two pets moved in with her sister Agnes after her husband passed away. She's a Pisces who's nice, active, and serious. She's a knowledge aspiration with a secondary romance, and her lifetime want is to raise 20 puppies or kittens, which most likely isn't going to happen.

Traits: No Sense of Humor, Neat, Proper, Cat Person, and Artistic

Agnes Crumplebottom - Elder

Agnes is an infamous sim who first came on the scene whacking sims with her purse if they were in their bathing suits or showing too much PDA. Now, she resides in early Pleasantview, living with her sister and still being a pretty grumpy sim. She's a Virgo who's neat, serious, and oh so grouchy. She's also a knowledge aspiration with a secondary popularity, and her lifetime want is to have 20 simultaneous pet best friends. She might not like human sims, but she loves animals!

Traits: Cat Person, Grumpy, Proper, Dislikes Children, Snob

Hecuba Goth - Elder

Hecuba is a beautiful Siamese kitty who lives in the cottage with her owner, her owner's sister, and her brother. She's a Virgo, and she's hyper, finicky, and independent. I'm not too sure about that last one, because she seems to be loving being picked up and talked to.

Menelaus Goth - Elder

Brother to Hecuba, Menelaus is a handsome fellow. He's a Scorpio, and he's also a genius, lazy, and aggressive. He's the smartest kitty cat around, but don't get too close.

As much as I like Agnes’ original appearance, I felt she needed to more resemble her TS3 counterpart, as well as look similar to my version of Cornelia Goth, since they’re sisters after all.

so, about the crumplebottom issue

mrs crumplebottom has started spawning on all my not-a-doowntown template new neighborhood, residential and community lots alike. she's terrorizing my sims and breaking the theme >:(

I was pretty sure this was a mod problem and had occam's razored it down to a social worker blocking mod i installed in time to cause this to happen, so i replaced it.

well, opened the hood in simPe now to check something, and she's in the townie pool. Not as a sim clone, but the uneditable, apocalypse-causing Crumplebottom demon object file. I don't know how to fix this... am I just stuck with her? I don't understand what could have caused this but i can't help but feel that my neighborhood has been cursed.

i think we'll have to vistor-controller block townies now, since she's in the townie pool. still kinda sucks because that means no more stray pets to adopt (after the next few posts i have queued). I just wish i knew how to like, move her to where she can't bother me, without demolishing my entire game and life

The Crumplebottoms | An Unequivocal Bond

Inseparable since childhood, Dowager Countess Agnes Crumplebottom and Lady Agatha Crumplebottom have truly never known a day apart. Together, they have had many a grand adventure over the last few decades. From evading unscrupulous suitors to dancing the night away in opulent ballrooms, they have seen each other through life's most joyous and saddest moments. Agnes inherited a sizable estate in the quaint village of Henford-on-Bagley. With Agatha by her side, Agnes established a prestigious finishing school, Miss Cordelia's Academy for Young Ladies. Families send their daughters from far and wide to become accomplished ladies under the tutelage of the Crumplebottoms.

So where have I been...somehow got sucked into historical gameplay (specifically regency era) and having so much fun building out my own historical save file. I'm trying to commitment to SimBridgerton Challenge and so far so good...

Truthfully I've been very much inspired by @janesimsten incredible mods as well as amazing tumblrs like @regencysims4, @moon-simmers,@inlovewithregencyera, @peebsplays and @notsooldmadcatlady to name a few!

I've tried to incorporate some of my favorite townies and loved building out the Crumplebottoms story. I'll be posting more soon!
