Introductions: The Goths / The Crumplebottoms
So sorry it took me so long to continue! I've been swamped with work! But continuing on, the next family are the Goths/Crumplebottoms; a pair of sisters who live in this adorable little cottage with Cornelia's two cats.
Cornelia Goth - Elder
Mother to the previously introduced Mortimer Goth, Cornelia and her two pets moved in with her sister Agnes after her husband passed away. She's a Pisces who's nice, active, and serious. She's a knowledge aspiration with a secondary romance, and her lifetime want is to raise 20 puppies or kittens, which most likely isn't going to happen.
Traits: No Sense of Humor, Neat, Proper, Cat Person, and Artistic
Agnes Crumplebottom - Elder
Agnes is an infamous sim who first came on the scene whacking sims with her purse if they were in their bathing suits or showing too much PDA. Now, she resides in early Pleasantview, living with her sister and still being a pretty grumpy sim. She's a Virgo who's neat, serious, and oh so grouchy. She's also a knowledge aspiration with a secondary popularity, and her lifetime want is to have 20 simultaneous pet best friends. She might not like human sims, but she loves animals!
Traits: Cat Person, Grumpy, Proper, Dislikes Children, Snob
Hecuba Goth - Elder
Hecuba is a beautiful Siamese kitty who lives in the cottage with her owner, her owner's sister, and her brother. She's a Virgo, and she's hyper, finicky, and independent. I'm not too sure about that last one, because she seems to be loving being picked up and talked to.
Menelaus Goth - Elder
Brother to Hecuba, Menelaus is a handsome fellow. He's a Scorpio, and he's also a genius, lazy, and aggressive. He's the smartest kitty cat around, but don't get too close.

Introductions: The Goth Family
For my first family, I decided to play the Goths. They're easily the most iconic Sims family within the franchise, so I definitely had to start with them. Also, when you first load into the Goth household in early Pleasantview, it's about 10 pm on Monday, hence the dark nighttime photo.
Mortimer Goth - Adult
A Taurus who's playful, outgoing, and lazy. He graduated from college with a degree in physics, and is currently in the science career as a top secret researcher, which is level 8. He's a knowledge aspiration with a secondary family, and his lifetime want is to max out all 7 skills.
Traits: Grumpy, Proper, Ambitious, Genius, and Artistic
Bella Goth - Adult
A Cancer who's neat, nice, and shy. She graduated from college with a degree in drama, but remains unemployed as she's working as a stay at home mother. She's a romance aspiration with a secondary knowledge, and her lifetime want is to reach her and Mortimer's golden anniversary.
Traits: Irresistible, Neat, Lucky, Good, and Brave
Cassandra Goth - Teen
A Cancer who's exactly like her mother; nice, neat, and shy. As a teen she has not decided if she wants to enroll in college yet, and having a family aspiration, she might never want to go. Her lifetime want is to graduate three children from college.
Traits: Family-Oriented, Neat, and Hopeless Romantic
I would like to add that I give my toddlers one trait, my children 2 traits, my teenagers 3 traits, my young adults 4 traits, and my adults 5 traits. Should a teenager not go to college, they receive their last two traits once they become an adult.
Alexander Goth - Baby
There's... not much to say about him at the moment. He's very cute though, and Mortimer is such a good dad. Also, that steam cutting across the pic is Bella's freshly made mac and cheese.
And those are the Goths!

Welcome to Early Pleasantview...with an Addition
Hello all! Welcome to my blog, and welcome to my early Pleasantview save! Early Pleasantview was made by the lovely gutosimmer, whom was so kind to have made a Pleasantview neighborhood, complete with all of our favorite Pleasantview premades, 10 years before Maxis' Pleasantview takes place. It's a wonderful 'hood with so many stories to create and explore, and I can't thank him enough for making it. So thank you!
On this blog, I'm going to be documenting my game; moreso for my sake so I don't get confused with who's who and so that my millions of screenshots don't clog up my hard drive. But I figured maybe someone else out there will want to see how my game plays out with me, so here I am!
As I mentioned, I'm going to be starting with an earlier version of Pleasantview. I was going to play regular PV, but I've done that so may times and it got repetitive, so I decided to go with this 'hood instead. However, I didn't want to do just a Pleasantview save; I knew I needed more Sims to play with. So I added a subhood.
Ta da! A beautiful subhood with a cascading waterfall. I know we're at a different angle, but does this subhood look familiar?
If you guessed Old Town, you'd be correct! I'm adding some Sims 1 characters to my rotation! While early Pleasantview brings back some Sims 1 icons (Bella Goth, Michael Bachelor, and Cornelia Goth to name a few), I wanted to go further and add even more Sims 1 stars to the game. But I'll introduce those Sims soon enough. ;)
So that's it! I'm going to be playing a Sims 2 Pleasantview neighborhood with Old Town added onto it. I also wish I could remember whose Old Town I downloaded, because it's not mine and I'd love to give credit. The only part of Old Town that will be mine are the sims. But without further ado, let's get started!
