TW - POVERTY AWARENESS QUOTE 1
Wednesday, January 3, 2024
“Once poverty is gone, we’ll need to build museums to display its horrors to future generations. They’ll wonder why poverty continued so long in human society – how a few people could live in luxury while billions dwelt in misery, deprivation and despair.” – Muhammad Yunus, Creating a World Without Poverty: Social Business and the Future of Capitalism

ANNOUNCEMENT - 12/29/2023: January Cause of the Month - Trigger Warning
Global Citizen
With December, and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, coming to an end, a new cause to raise awareness of is in order. If you missed the quotes for December, you can see them here!
January brings Poverty Awareness Month. So, for January 2024 (and every January, to be frank), I will be sharing quotes about poverty. In addition, I will also be bringing to everyone’s attention a resource, Global Citizen, “an action platform dedicated to achieving the end of extreme poverty, powered by a community of millions of Global Citizens who believe in one world, one people – where everyone has an equal chance to thrive. This is our world and the actions of one can have a profound impact on many. That’s why we rally around the critical issues of climate change, poverty, and inequality”, linked above.
Once poverty is gone, we’ll need to build museums to display its horrors to future generations. They’ll wonder why poverty continued so long in human society – how a few people could live in luxury while billions dwelt in misery, deprivation and despair. – Muhammad Yunus, Creating a World Without Poverty: Social Business and the Future of Capitalism
Well, these are all the updates I had for now. Thank you for reading!
May every decision you make be in the spirit of fairness and may the rest of your day NOT go to $#!7.
