Little Venice, Colmar, France: Colmar is a town in the Grand Est region of northeastern France, near the border with Germany. Its old town has cobblestone streets lined with half-timbered medieval and early Renaissance buildings. "Little Venice" is the name given to the course of the Lauch in Colmar. This name probably comes from the original alignment of houses on either side of the river that serves the southeast of the city. Wikipedia
