Some of our Insurance and Risk Management students spent a few days in Washington, DC last week.
They were thrilled to meet with U.S. Representative Larry Bucshon, along with Brett Schultheis and Jennie Carr CIC AU during the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America Legislative Conference!
They also had a chance to visit Clements Worldwide’s Washington headquarters and learn about the company.
Indiana State University students who attended are: Bryce McLeish, Anne Bowen, Julia Sonntag, MaKenzie Quissell, Kyle Koch, and Noah Heim.

A fantastic showing by our Insurance and Risk Management program students yesterday during the Clements Worldwide Business Plan Competition.
1st Place and a $2,500 prize went to Julia Sonntag, Jillian Turner, Grace Longyear, Hailey Tonsor for their “Breaking the Insurance Barrier: Developing the Clements Worldwide App.”
Taking second place and a $1,500 prize were Anne Bowen and Noah Heim with “Building the Insurance Talent Pipeline.”
