Thursday's 80's & 90's Music: Daniel Band | I'm Sorry
Thursday’s 80’s & 90’s Music: Daniel Band | I’m Sorry
To celebrate 40 years of Daniel Band’s On Rock album being released they put on a live stream concert at the very church they played in for the first time.
Thanks to a friend from Canada, where Daniel Band is from, I was able to watch the live stream. It was great seeing them perform for the first time…well for me it was the first time😊
The song I’m sorry is one of my favorite songs of all…
No offense to the goodly Christian part of Skillets audience but maybe the real reason Skillet completely dropped thier old sound was because they sound more like wanting to get dommed by Jesus then worshipping him in the more traditional sense
guys there is absolutely NOOOOO fuckin way people are actually mad over bring me the horizons tweet...
this band has BEEN anti religion for like... ever... like this is NOT shocking news?? christians who are mad about this, or even just bmth fans in general, have clearly never listened to their lyrics because they are very openly anti-christ in their music and they have been since the begining. they have an entire song called blasphemy for fucks sake. theres no way people are shaking in their damn boots over one little tweet; why is this so shocking?? i understand you might be kinda irked by it if youre christian and thats fine, but just move on. oli sykes is not personally targeting you. plus, not everyone is gonna believe in your religion and thats something you have to accept. there will be people who hate on what makes you happy, thats just how the world works. now if youre NOT christian and youre a bmth fan WHY ARE YOU SURPRISED 😭 take one listen to house of wolves the first fucking lyric is "show me a sign, show me a reason to give a solitary fuck about your goddamn beliefs" LIKE.
"i removed them from all my playlists grrrr" youre just sensitive im sorry
on the other hand people cant really say "seperate the art from the artist" because well... the artist is in the art with this one. another reason why yall shouldnt be surprised by this. its right under your nose.
its really not that big of a deal... (i had to post about it on tumblr and twitter even though ive never used twitter a day in my life)
anyways i <3 bring me the horizon!! i <3 house of wolves!! (been my fav bmth song for ages btw!!)
Still my favorite song even after 30+ years😊
Many believe this is Stryper’s first video but they would be incorrect. That video is coming up soon.
When Soldiers Under Command was released I was at the record store right after school and bought both the cassette for the car and the album for my room😊
Still my favorite Stryper album followed closely by Even The Devil Believes
-everyone you know in a tight circle from the church, never missing a day, catholic school, off white, ignorant and close minded, arranged marriage to the highest donator’s son to the church.
⋆♱✮♱⋆ preacher’s disgrace of a daughter ⋆♱✮♱⋆
-talking out at services and youth groups, over use of crosses to get back at your dad, devil worship bands (ac/cd, the black sabbath, the cure, christian death), kids in satan service (kiss) on repeat, works to get out of the house.
I want to expand my knowledge of punk music and my band roster! I'm looking for one that's loud and rambunctious and all the good stuff but doesn't disrespect Christians or Jesus Christ. I don't necessarily want a band that sings about Him but I want one that doesn't slander either. Leave me some recs down in the comments if you have any!
