Since the creation of the band in 2005 by Patrick Martin and Maxime Cormier, Reanimator dug an important place in the Quebec Metal scene. Offering an incendiary Thrash Metal dotted with old-school and new school element, these guys are ready to kick some asses. With their first album ''Thrashin' The Neighborhood’’ on Galy Records in 2007 the group established venomous stage appearances, which left no fan indifferent. Touring Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, they finally came up with their first full length album called ''Ignorance Is No Excuse'' in 2009, which will let them perform next to bands like Municipal Waste, Exodus, Martyr, Quo Vadis, Cauldron, Aggressor, Brutal Truth, Macabre, Neuraxis, Augury, Soothsayer, Cryptopsy etc.. After nearly an hundred shows, the band split in 2011... to finally come back in force in 2013 with a new line-up and a new EP entitled ''Great Balls''. That new formation is now formed by Patrick Martin (vocals) and Francis Labelle (drums), both original members of the band. With the addition of the frenetic playing of Fred Bizier on bass and the furious energy of Joel Racine and Ludovic Bastien shredding the guitars, Reanimator became stronger than ever and crossed the ocean to tour Eastern Europe in May 2014 to reach tons of new fans. A couple of months later Reanimator went to into the Studio with Jef Fortin to record their new LP "Horns Up" which will be released in June 2015. "Horns Up" got a lot of praising reviews and lot of airplay in independent radios around Canada and USA After years of touring and a global pandemic, the boys are back with a new album featuring Philippe Lemire on guitars.

Canadian singer-songwriter and producer Kat Bryan signed to AnalogueTrash in early 2022. Since then, she has released three singles - Circus of the Living, Devil’s Curse, and Centre of the Earth - in the leadup to her debut full-length album, Music for the End of the World.
Inspired by innovative artists like Nils Frahm, Sigur Rós, and Imogen Heap, Music for the End of the World see Kat Bryan blend her warm and soulful roots found in a love of classic jazz with vibrant and lush electronic instrumentation, allowing her to effortlessly skirt the edges of both the electronica and pop genres.
The creative rebirth that led to Music for the End of the World was set into motion by a number of factors, one of which was the life-changing effects of Covid-19. Music production had become a focus for Kat during the early days of the pandemic when like many, the daily work routine changed suddenly and dramatically. It was also a process that saw Kat develop her previously folk-oriented sound into something more akin to soulful electronica with a subtle gothic flavour.

The members have multiple bands from the past and the present that have gained them loads of experience over the years. The debut EP Vengeance will be released in January 2023.

🇺🇸 Darren Holland Project - 🎶 Sweet Saint James
The DHP is a husband and wife duo from Kansas City, Missouri.
I'll tell you that they are a team, but he is the writer. His wife Cheryl gets the pleasure of being woken up at 2 am because he feels he has come up with something cool, and she listens. Cheryl is the one he trusts to put her voice, her style, musicianship, and her mark into the sound that we call the DHP.
They are releasing this song for everyone who was ever bullied. In addition, he is donating funding for this song for trans kids and their parents to fight for their rights.
Oh, and lyrically he writes about life, the good, the bad, and the ugly. He writes the story of everyone he knows, meets, and sometime misses. he writes about the sex, drugs, and the mental issues we all have at times. So my stories can be viewed differently by each person who listens and whom it touches.

Mercury Machine -  A complex combination of synthesisers and guitars, all intertwined in a cathedral like melodic space.  Their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album was released in early 2019, leading to international festival organisers to entice the 5 piece to venture at one of Europe’s largest festivals on the ‘Live Europe’ stage.
Tumblr media
An EP release in 2020 'ACSEND' grabbed the interest of organisers at a Japan Festival. A live streamed gig was broadcast from Bury MET to this festival.
Their music has been described as…‘orchestral’…‘Depeche Mode on Crack!’…
‘The best soundtrack to a vampire movie that never got made’.
Their live performance is set for the bigger stages. Epic sounding and atmosphere to command your attention.
Mercury Machine are Lee Maguire (composer, vocals and guitar), Carl Street (bass and vocals), Kade Daniels (keyboards), Tim Burge (lead guitar), Gav Foley (drums).

Shape of Water is an electronic art rock band formed in 2018 from Manchester, United Kingdom in the grand tradition of projects like Queen, Muse, Depeche Mode, Coldplay, The Killers, and Radiohead. Still, as water has no shape, the band welcomes all listeners into what they refer to as “Genre-Fluid” which translates to “music without boundaries.”
Tumblr media
Rox Capriotti and Luca De Falco met in 2004 in their hometown of San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy. The first band they formed together was called The Lotus. Over the following few years, the band had various members step in and out on drums and bass guitar; however, Rox and Luca kept the band on track. In 2015, they relocated to Manchester, UK in search of new musical experiences. The band had a short hiatus period and eventually decided to split up. Rox and Luca remained close, writing music together; however, the rest of the band moved on, and after the breakup of The Lotus, Rox and Luca created Shape of Water.
youtube
After writing dozens of songs, they carefully selected the best of the best, and started recording new material in early 2018 with producer Paul Reeve (Muse, Beta Band, Supergrass) at Airfield Studios. The band also brought on Sky Van Hoff (Rammstein, Kreator, Caliban) to mix the songs “Scars” and “Not All the Things,” and the drums on the album were performed by Marco Lancs. The result was a ten-song album entitled Great Illusions, which deals mainly with the misconception of human feelings, politics, and society. While shopping the Great Illusions album for a deal, the band independently released their first Single, “Dancing with Tears in My Eyes,” which is a cover of the song by the British rock band, Ultravox. Coincidentally just a few days after its release, they heard back from Eclipse Records who offered the band a deal with the label.
youtube
Great Illusions was released in the Summer of 2020 and received critical acclaim from dozens of respected media outlets including (but not limited to) Classic Rock, Metal.de, Punktastic, Sonic Perspective, and Metallized.it, just to name a few. The band was unable to promote it live due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic; however, the duo was able to quickly adapt by live-streaming several performances which were widely received. Shape Of Water also spent time reinventing some of their songs for an early 2021 EP release entitled Lockdown On Mars, which was produced by Paul Reeve (Muse, Supergrass, Beta Band) and mixed by Rox Capriotti. In early June 2021 the band also released a Press Contact: Chris Poland – [email protected] / +1-973-492-1976 ECLIPSE RECORDS PO BOX 51 POMPTON PLAINS, NJ 07444 USA www.EclipseRecords.com www.Facebook.com/eclipserecords www.Twitter.com/eclipserecords live EP called Livestream From Mars, recorded during the successful live stream series of the same name.
youtube
After the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions, Shape of Water were finally back to play live in the summer of 2021, and they started producing new songs for the second album, many of them written and recorded at home during the first lockdown, with the exception of the drums and wind instruments. After a careful selection, the duo decided to release a double single for Halloween, containing a new song called “A Ghost In Manchester” and a creepy cover of the 50’s hit, “Mr. Sandman,” originally performed by the Chordettes / Four Aces. The world has been calling for more Shape of Water, and they have answered.
The new album by Shape of Water is titled, Amor Fati, Latin for “Love of Fate,” alluding to Nietzsche and the philosophy of determinism which would imply that destiny is already written and we must embrace the meaninglessness of our free will. Interestingly, the band connected this to their music when the song written last titled “Starchild” (appearing first on the album) gave a lens through which to run a thread back through the broadcloth of the other songs and weave this potent, devastating vision. Furthermore, this aesthetic (and rocking) masterpiece delivers a poignant message about isolation as a swansong, speaking to the awesome potential of humankind as we ironically and tragically blend into one another. We wear masks of balance and hope, yet death makes us dust that slips away in the wind. We create powerful machines and build monuments of hope, but we lose ourselves in the process.

Stepford Wives don’t do guitar solos, fancy clothes or ephemeral bull. They constantly strive to create thought-provoking, passionate, at times subversive lyrics and melody played with an aggressive sense of purpose. Drawing on influences from all genres and generations, they have developed a frantic live performance set that leaves an audience gasping for breath and shouting for more.
Tumblr media
Their July 2021 headline gig at the Castle in Manchester, was described by influential alternative magazine Louder Than War as an “amazing punk assault of brilliant songs that punch you in the gut”. October 2021 saw Stepford Wives as main support to Half Man Half Biscuit (Oct 2021) and this year they have already played main support to BUZZCOCKS and the Undertones. They have further confirmed have supports with the Chameleons (December ‘22) & a prestigious slot at HRH Punk Sheffield (Oct ‘22), headlined by Stiff Little Fingers.

From Minneapolis come a ghoulish blend of haunting melody and aggressive street punk smothered in images of unspeakable horror!
Die Ghost delivers darker than death tones and melodies that will haunt you in your dreams. These Ghosts have only one goal in mind… keep the punk in ‘Horror Punk” DIY style. Die Ghost is no stranger to delivering urgent, uptempo punk beats with sing along choruses that’ll hook you quicker than Leatherface himself and don’t forget the universal language, Whoaing!!
Formed by former Reckless Ones and Corpse Show Creeps bassist, Adam Boatright (bass/vocals), former Gloom Room vocalist, Matt Clark (guitar/vocals), former Pabst Blue Rebellion guitarist and Hollywood Homicide drummer, Johnny “Badlove” Leach (guitar/ OG drummer) and Travis “HorrorPunx” Hunter of Darker Days (guitar), Die Ghost were brought together in 2014 with a passion for DIY, all things horror, mythical and dangerous. Whiskey driven writing sessions and beer slamming rehearsals lead to the release of their debut EP, Human Remains in 2015. Full of unspeakable horror and captured by Adam on a 16-track recorder! Later, the band would set out to record an LP called Memento Mori released in 2016 that is now only available in its physical form. After a 2-year hiatus and Travis’s departure to Salem, MA, Die Ghost decided it was time to get back in the horror business bringing Johnny Badlove to lead guitar and recruiting legendary drummer Jay Forness Ripsnorter and Gravezig. Since their return, Die Ghost has delivered a Split with The Whiskey Bats and released an EP, Three Ghosts and a Corpse. The band recently release a Split with Ripsnorter and is currently finishing up their next EP.

MEMENTO MORI may be a debut record, but all the progress that the band has made from their earliest singles really shines through. It oozes a modern breed of metalcore made by a gang that doesn’t cling on hackneyed ideas but rather loves exploring the unfamiliar – all in order to feed the wonders they’ve experienced back into their fresh and inspiring sound. Songs like The Swarm, which got honored by the editors of Spotify’s All New Metal playlist just recently, Break The Cycle or Vanitas have a thing in common with HOSTAGE’s latest additions Game Over and Rebellion: They’re all heavy hitters of their own, no foul compromise made. Be it uptown industrial pop, a whole-hearted esteem for post hardcore or carefully staged breakdowns – our metalcore lunattics HOSTAGE always come down as the dynamic and openly curious bunch that they simply are, while at the same time neither fraying out stylistically nor butchering the consistency of their own sound. Eight pieces of the upcoming album have already been released as singles by the young independent band to nurture their growing community and give the vocal fans a role in their creative proces

Their powerful lyrics are based deep in Canadian history, delivered through their complex melodies and soaring clean vocals of progressive symphonic metal – all this has brought them a strong and growing fanbase in their home country and beyond: European fans will know the up- and coming quintet Osyron through their critically acclaimed albums Foundations (July 2020) and Kingsbane (2017, re-released as a Deluxe Edition in May 2021). Together, the albums spent 24 weeks with 37 appearances on the Canadian charts.
Inspired by their prior successes, Osyron have started to work on a new album in 2021, taking the modern and progressive sound and feel that they have created with Foundations and pushing it even further. The outcome is what the band feels is their strongest album to date: The first single Dominion Day took an impressive stand on that, landing on the Spotify editorial “All New Metal” playlist, which leads OSYRON to be even more proud to present Momentous. The brand new album will be released on November 4th 2022 on all major streaming platforms. This announcement comes with the release of the auspicious second single Beyond the Sun, making it 100% clear how Osyron have once again put their hearts and souls into the creative progress: It’s impossible to not hear and feel the devotion they have invested in their new music.
Beyond the Sun is yet another piece of high quality progressive music from the Canadian quintet, both epic and catchy with dynamic clean vocals, blended with powerful growling, delivered in a way that just leaves you craving for more. Flowing guitar sounds, dominant yet beneficial basslines and perfectly paced drums all add to the immersive experience, completed by a songwriting that seems to have gotten even stronger with every album: Lyrically, Osyron have always found strong, meaningful subjects to write about. Beyond the Sun really lives up to its name by going beyond and viewing life on a bigger scale, as the band explains: “More or less a love song, Beyond the Sun is about the ‘larger than life feeling’ of finding someone you belong with. Attributing the passion and emotions to that feeling of being beyond our galaxy, and beyond our sun.”
Tumblr media
As another album created during the COVID-19 pandemic, Momentous resonates with the listener in many ways; leaving space to relate to the poetic themes and incredibly touching lyrics. Momentous explores our everyday life struggles by going beyond the difficulties and viewing them from different perspectives, mirroring recent times’s battles during the pandemic with all the pain and misery suddenly breaking into our lives, putting some heavy obstacles in the way. Listening to Momentous feels like Osyron just wrote a piece of concerned literature on how we managed to deal with all of that – wrapped up in a compelling musical form.
